I would answer that question with the fact that once one has been infilled with the Holy Ghost they will be given things to do by the Lord Jesus to confirm their election.
Such as those things written of the true believer in Mark 16:17-18, not necessarily all, but some, especially speaking in other tongues or praying in another tongue for your own edification. More than likely there will be a casting out of an unclean spirit chore as well, but this will only prove to you what power you have as a born again son of God. And when these things happen especially the casting out part "How can Satan cast out Satan? For a house divided cannot stand" Jesus will confirm to you who you are in him!!!

Secondly your goal is not to go to heaven!! It is to become exactly what Jesus is!! Which is a begotten Son of God with limitless power and glory. He is everywhere and so will each son that God perfects, so how could heaven be the destination as they will have heaven within them as well as everything else.

Thirdly I see in your post you refer to Jesus as the LORD God? This is not so. Jesus the Lord who BECAME a life giving spirit AFTER HIS DEATH RESURRECTION AND GLORIFICATION. It was his Father the LORD God that raised Jesus from the dead, Jesus was a man that died, and God cannot die so they are not one and the same. They are Father and Son (TWO) entities. But they are so alike its hard to tell the difference!!

And lastly if you will read Romans 5:18 and then put that with Titus 1:2 "In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began."
You just might see the big picture which is that God will cause all to become sons in their own order as that part of the price has been paid by the blood of Jesus.
Your part is simply to trust and believe that God is able, capable, and will fulfill his own word. Be patient, have faith, read, and pray.
If you have not received the baptism in the Holy Ghost then ask him for it.

The only way we receive anything from God is through faith in what he has said he will do he will! If thou canst only BELIEVE.

Today people can read peoples minds,put thoughts into peoples minds, can control their every day lives through witchcraft and black magic, voodoo whatever you want to call it), and trick them into thinking that god is working in their lives. It's real, trust me, I've been going through psychic attacks emotionall and physically for the past 3 years.

When I first was baptized in the Holy Ghost the very next day I thought the attacks that I experienced were going to kill me, but the Lord spoke 1 verse to me
which was Hebrews 9:21 "Moreover he sprinkled with Blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry." It is the blood of Jesus that protects you that they see,
but without faith or giving in to sin they will reclaim their original home and the second condition is worse than the original. Sow to the spirit within you (feed him the words of his Father) so that he begins to mature and then indeed it will be greater than he that is in the world for the son will be kicking out the attackers.

Hi Josephine, I've read lots of the Bible and even though it was written over 2-3,000 years by dozens of different people, it's message is so consistent it's hard to objectively dismiss. The message reads loud and clear, that love is the answer to all ills. Love God (the creator God) who loves us so much that our pricetag (His son Jesus) was well worthwhile, and He will give us an eternal destiny that defies description, just read my favourite passage in the whole Bible (Matthew Chapters 5-7) which is a resume a of how a Spirit filled godly person lives their life. Is there even a passing resemblance to Satan's persona in there?

In the Bible there are many prophecies written hundreds and thousands of years earlier that have happened and more that have yet to happen. This is a book that Satan really couldn't bring himself to write even if he wanted to and he is unable to predict the future in the same way that God does.

Do I have cast iron proof that Heaven awaits the believing Christian? No. God demands faith, if you have proof you don't need faith. It's a basic tenant of the Christian life. If in faith you believe in Jesus and accept His loving invitation of a constant and deep one on one relationship with God, He will be constantly at your side, actually living within you, a constant provider, guide and protector. Then yes, when your time is up you'll enter Heaven which I know will be more amazing than anything I can even begin to imagine.

The Bible predicts that when Satan has fulfilled God's purpose, he will be cremated alive in a lake of fire and non-believers will follow him. Why would Satan prophesy that about himself?
The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. I implore you to pray to God, asking Him to reveal Himself to you, study the Bible starting with John's Gospel and find a church, might take a tour of half a dozen or so before you find one that you're happy with and begin your exploration of God with prayer. And then when you feel ready give and dedicate your life to Him and enquire about baptism.

Hi Sue, got your correction which was actually covered in the passage I quoted in the preceding paragraph.

I have to say I'm disappointed in the way this thread has veered so off topic in the way it has. To me Josephine has a battlefield going on inside her head. She is really struggling to get her head around God's calling her, Satan is clinging onto her prodigiously putting crazy notions into her head that maybe he wrote the Bible as a work of master deception only to shock believers when they die as they find out he's waiting for them.

To her credit Josephine retracts this notion and so I wanted to put a lid on that bin by telling her that the Bible predicts Satan's final demise. Not something that Satan is likely to write about. No, the Bible is the word of God and can be trusted and accepted. Trusted and accepted are the operative words, or put another way - faith.

Can everyone reading this please stop right now, and pray for Josephine, pray that her eyes will be opened to Satan's deception and more importantly to God's invitation to her, imploring her to choose life.

Please drop the theological arm wrestle and pray that we will be welcoming Josephine into our family as our treasured and dear sister.

There are many extra-biblical texts that speak to the existence of Jesus. I know Flavius Josephus (Roman Jewish historian) wrote of him. So theres concrete proof Jesus existed.

The fact that the Romans couldn't produce His body, though a stone covered His tomb and it was guarded proves He resurrected. (This was the last thing the Romans wanted.)

Well -- the changed lives of born again believers the better would be something to consider, there was an individual some time ago also sounded like he really wanted to be shown the truth -- but his reaction to anything being shown to him was not really accepting the evidence. He would not accept the world of miracles that only God could do. Being will To accept evidence presented is not something someone else can do For you Godś Word is the --Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life, no man cometh to the Father , but by Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the Son of God. And God is The Heavenly Father. If you honestly consider God's Word to be simply words, then thereś not much anyone can do.

It is God that calls us. Maybe your saying : " Why not me?" Notice the verse states " who ever opens the Door"!
I Look back now and see where God probably called me many times. The last time I was sitting in the top of a tree, Deer hunting; I guess, it being super guite, I heard him calling....all I did was confess, "I couldn't do it myself"... I had a wife, two beautiful boys, a nice house, plenty of cars, food, I had it all but I was empty, could He please help? And then, boom it happened, I was a believer and my whole life changed. I am not perfect, I still mess up but,when I do, I thank him for His salvation.
I bet, because of your feelings, it is Him knocking on your door.... please open the door to your heart and let Him in. I know it is Him knocking, otherwise you would care less but you do care...that's the diffence!
Just tell Him you are a sinner and you need Him! You won't be perfect but you will know He is real and you are saved!

Hi Josephine, my, you are in a bit of a tizzy. Many years ago I came to an understanding about myself. I was doing things I didn't want to do I was lying, stealing, swearing and cursing, disobeying my father, bunking off school etc.. etc.. The people I liked weren't like that, I respected honest people, people who didn't swear or do the things that I did, but I found that I could not be like them, my nature was what people deemed as sinful. The only attachment I had with the church, was my place in the choir. This was nothing to do with religion, I just liked singing and when we sang at weddings and funerals we were paid seven and sixpence, apart from that I had no interest in the church. I went through life, an outcast, I didn't fit in anywhere, if I needed something I would steal it. I even stole from my father, only once though, his belt saw to that. I would also lie to get myself out of trouble. So here I was an outcast from honest society, feeling no alliegence to anything or anybody, and this continued well into my twenties. I was extremely unhappy and miserable, but the only person who knew this was me, outwardly I appeared fairly happy go lucky. But that was just a front. A friend handed me a miniature Gideon New Testament. As he gave it to me, I received it open and the page was where Pontious Pilate was asking Jesus if he was a king, Jesus answered that his kingdom was not of this world. That, to me, was a bombshell, because it occurred to me that neither was I, I had never fitted in to this world. I started to read the new testament and through it met Jesus. who said, "Love your enemies, do good to them that hate you, Bless those that curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone strikes you one cheek offer him the other also, If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic. Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. Do to others as you would have them do to you". This to me was revolutionary. I continued reading and met a man, the like of which had never walked the earth before and I became a follower. I was enamoured by his philosophy and his obvious love for the lost like me. It was many years later that I made a commitment and asked him into my life. Since then, he has turned my life around. The thought of stealing never enters my mind now, and If I attempt to tell an untruth to my children in fun they laugh at me because I can no longer do it. I am now at peace within myself. I still swear to much but I am praying about that. But the most beautiful blessing of all is, once I was so self centred I couldn't give Helen the love she deserved. I prayed that God would give me the Grace to love her as she deserved, and he has. When I look at her now I am moved to tears. Now when I am nearly eighty and she is over seventy and we don't see the age, we see the heart. The Bible is not a book of words, the Bible is not 52 books of words, to the unsaved soul that is exactly what it is, they can read it cover to cover and get little or nothing from it, why? Because they are reading like a book, it is only when the Holy Spirit abides in us that The Word becomes The Living Word. It really is Emmanuel, God with us.

You asked for confirmation without scripture, I hope I have gone some way to providing that for you sister, when the Holy Spirit abides in your heart, you are born-again, Her reveals The Truth in The Word to us, from The 'LIVING' Word. Therefore The Truth has been fulfilled through The Word through Prophesy, written down ahead of time, before they happen, just as God said things would happen, so we will believe.

Because they are reading like a book, it is only when the Holy Spirit abides in us that The Word becomes The Living Word. It really is Emmanuel, God with us.

Doubt comes from satan, it comes from believing, the world, which our Lord sums up as those belonging to sin, the world and the devil

Did Sarah doubt? Yes she did? Why did she doubt? Because she looked at things in an earthly way

10 And He said, "I will certainly return to you according to the time of life, and behold, Sarah your wife shall have a son." (Sarah was listening in the tent door which was behind him.)

12 Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, "After I have grown old, shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?"

5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

You asked for confirmation without scripture, I hope I have gone some way to providing that for you sister, when the Holy Spirit abides in your heart, you are born-again, Her reveals The Truth in The Word to us, from The 'LIVING' Word. Therefore The Truth has been fulfilled through The Word through Prophesy, written down ahead of time, before they happen, just as God said things would happen, so we will believe.

Does Heaven exist? If you believe what we have discussed you will believe heaven exists.

Hi Josephine, my, you are in a bit of a tizzy. Many years ago I came to an understanding about myself. I was doing things I didn't want to do I was lying, stealing, swearing and cursing, disobeying my father, bunking off school etc.. etc.. The people I liked weren't like that, I respected honest people, people who didn't swear or do the things that I did, but I found that I could not be like them, my nature was what people deemed as sinful. The only attachment I had with the church, was my place in the choir. This was nothing to do with religion, I just liked singing and when we sang at weddings and funerals we were paid seven and sixpence, apart from that I had no interest in the church. I went through life, an outcast, I didn't fit in anywhere, if I needed something I would steal it. I even stole from my father, only once though, his belt saw to that. I would also lie to get myself out of trouble. So here I was an outcast from honest society, feeling no alliegence to anything or anybody, and this continued well into my twenties. I was extremely unhappy and miserable, but the only person who knew this was me, outwardly I appeared fairly happy go lucky. But that was just a front. A friend handed me a miniature Gideon New Testament. As he gave it to me, I received it open and the page was where Pontious Pilate was asking Jesus if he was a king, Jesus answered that his kingdom was not of this world. That, to me, was a bombshell, because it occurred to me that neither was I, I had never fitted in to this world. I started to read the new testament and through it met Jesus. who said, "Love your enemies, do good to them that hate you, Bless those that curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone strikes you one cheek offer him the other also, If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic. Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. Do to others as you would have them do to you". This to me was revolutionary. I continued reading and met a man, the like of which had never walked the earth before and I became a follower. I was enamoured by his philosophy and his obvious love for the lost like me. It was many years later that I made a commitment and asked him into my life. Since then, he has turned my life around. The thought of stealing never enters my mind now, and If I attempt to tell an untruth to my children in fun they laugh at me because I can no longer do it. I am now at peace within myself. I still swear to much but I am praying about that. But the most beautiful blessing of all is, once I was so self centred I couldn't give Helen the love she deserved. I prayed that God would give me the Grace to love her as she deserved, and he has. When I look at her now I am moved to tears. Now when I am nearly eighty and she is over seventy and we don't see the age, we see the heart. That is my proof that Jesus is real Josephine and nobody will ever change me from believing that. bless you.

I wrote this post on the 31st of March 2020 and thankfully I have come a long way since then.
Thank you so much for your reply and thank you for sharing your story it meant a lot and resonates with a circumstance that's happening for me now so it was meant to be that I came back to this post to read what you had to say and learn what I need to know for what's happening for me right now.
