Ok let's try this again.
As Christian matures in Christ, they will be shown other things off in their life (sin) that is hindering areas of their life or walk in Christ.
As our understanding DEEPENS, The Father Will point out new things that need to be dealt with that will hinder the deeper revelation or higher walk or ways in God.
These things are things you yourself could not even comprehend would be sin in a higher level in Christ.

I admire your love for the word and positive attitude. I do not understand your stance on the maturing Christian, from what I get out of your post ( I may be wrong) but you seem to suggest once we get saved we are automatically fully mature Christians and are perfect, is that a correct view??

Children and animals are always victims. They both go to heaven. God does not spare a city because of the children and animals. To raise that is a very weak reply. Waiting for a proper reply.
You are amazed by me and I am terrified by you. Imagine you came before a judge with your view of sin = sin. Lethal injection for the murderer. Lethal injection for the thief that robbed a thousand elderly of their pension. Oh and lethal injection for you, the guy that stole a single corn from a corn field. Christians will judge the world 1 Cor 6-9, can judge themselves 1 Cor 11:31, Phil 2:12 and must judge all things 1 Cor 2:15.
Jesus says do not divorce unless there is actual adultery / sexual immorality in Matt 5:32. When someone takes only Mat 5:28 for their doctrine. It is called cherry picking. When they teach their doctrine it is called teaching a half truth. Teaching a half truth when knowing better is called false teaching. False teachers are en-route to hell, because it is a mortal sin.
Why did He have mercy on you? Allowing you to walk in the Spirit or forcing you? I like your use of 'allow', but that word contradicts your belief.

First, our salvation won't be assured till after the final judgement.
Second, A "maturing Christian" is...a Christian.
His fullness of, or lack of knowledge can only impact his ability to explain, teach, exhort, and probably a few more things, but they will not cause a Christian to act like a non-Christian.
We are born of God, not Adam.
We are branches off of the vine that is Christ.
Our fruit, no matter the level of maturity, can only be Godly.
My first few years as a Christian, I only did as I was told, but with "maturing" I was allowed to initiate things apart from my direct teachings.
I wrote my own fliers, and placed ads in news papers. I commenced missionary work in Tucson, Las Vegas, Flagstaff, San Diego, and New York city, besides here in Phoenix and its environs.
But I already knew how to keep myself holy.
Check out Hebrews 6, and study the principles of the doctrine of Christ, the foundation stones of Christianity.
Rejoice in the knowledge you DO have, without fretting about what you DON"T know...yet.
It is written..."There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." (1 Cor 10:13)

Yes a seed is planted in us.
Yes The Seed of God can not reproduce evil.
Now then just like ALL Seed it must be nurtured or as Luke said must contain moisture.
Another words it to has to be kept watered with Gods Word in order for it to grow.
As the seed of God takes root it begins to grow and grow and produce fruit, strength and power.
Just as scripture says, For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.
It is how we learn to obey and overcome.
Again you would do well to ask the Father to search your heart and show you the things that are not pleasing unto Him.

Actually a lot of things did change between the testaments.
In the old testament you could get divorced because "she found displeasure in your eyes".
In the new testament, it's only because of unfaithfulness, or if an unbelieving spouse leaves you.
In the old testament we could hate our enemies.
In the new testament we are supposed to love our enemies and pray for them.
In the old old testament, it was an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.
In the new testament, - vengeance belongs to God.
(One of the reason we don't stone people anymore)
In the old testament Jews couldn't eat certain kinds of meat.
In the new testament Jesus says nothing He created is unclean anymore.
Some things didn't get easier under grace, they got harder.
What constituted adultery for example.
In the old testament no one worked on the sabbath.
In the new testament Jesus heals on the sabbath. (more than once)
The violent gruesome painful death still happens to some people... but we aren't the ones doing it.
