Living and Dying... in sin

[KJV] Isa 45:7; I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.

I am not condoning evil at all here. But I think making a blanket statement about what God is capable of or not capable of can be dangerous.
My comments are true in relation to the "seed"s fruit. The deeds of the converted-reborn.
Those born of God's seed don't do evil things

Yes, and I have the Holy Ghost...thanks be to God!
And yet you mix in your take on things and dismiss anything that does not line up with Your thinking.

Just be prepared to be shown you don't know as much as you think you do and you won't be arguing back.

replying to prefaced his post with "As Christian matures in Christ..(sic)."
The fact that you insist one does not need to grow in Christ and mature truly shows that we need to be cautious reading what you write.

Also please allow everyone to know what (sic) was for.

Perhaps you should reread some of the replies to me.
Actually I have and that's why I asked you many times to reply to what was actually said and to stop claiming they said things they had not.

If one says they are overcoming an area you say they are trying to justify or defend sinning and more untrue statements.

Scripture says love does not demand it's own way, but then you insist you are always right and put down on others that don't agree.

Since we are Commanded to walk in love.......then this would be a place you are not so perfect.
I would suggest something like needing work, growth and maturing more in that area but you have made that known that you already are and need no growth.

I don't have anything against you, it's just the fact how you quickly tear a growing brother down that I object too.
See we ALREADY have an enemy and they call him satan THE ACCUSER OF THE BRETHREN who comes to kill, steal and destroy.

Walk in Love not self righteousness

As Gal 2:20 says..." I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me:..."
"My" take is the take of Christ too.

Just be prepared to be shown you don't know as much as you think you do and you won't be arguing back.
Bring it!
Prove to me, from the bible, that I cannot be free from sin.
Then I will be free to move to a state with legal weed sales.
Or one where it is still legal to drink and drive.
Or perhaps take up gambling for a living.
I know if I was still in the flesh that I would quit helping at the food bank.
And I would be able to quit coming to this site with the good news that we can all live free of servitude to sin. (John 8:32-34)
Jesus said it so it must be true...right?

I don't "insist" that at all.
A newly sprouted grape doesn't need growth and maturity to realize it is no longer a fig tree's progeny.

Does your post not infer that 'you' are... right?

This is your way of saying you are perfected or perfect in Christ?
Lol most food banks are run by non Christian groups.

Living in a state that does or does not allow legal weed does not define Christian or not.

Those are all deeds of the flesh. Anyone can do them.
They too can be burnt up with the hay and stubble.

You would make a mighty fine politician the way you side step issues and turn the light on some one else.

No it does not but I love my Brothers and I don't take kindly to some one tearing them down.
Yes I forgive you and yes I will continue to up lift and encourage my Brothers in spite of your tearing them down.

True but then again even that needs developing in you. We must learn how to submit unto His authority and Lordship over our own thinking.

You did not just start thinking like Christ.
That rules out scriptures such as Renewing the mind in Christ

Yes, due to the power of God in my life.

He has given us the ways and means to turn from sin permanently.
He has given us all the tools necessary to continue manifesting His grace to all mankind.
Amazing, totally amazing. But still, that doesn't encourage me to sign up to Christianity. I have become accustomed to dealing with my own faults and problems myself.

All of those could, under certain circumstances be sinful indeed.
But none of these things are done by men who have "turned from" sin and received the Holy Ghost.
The poster I was replying to prefaced his post with "As Christian matures in Christ..(sic)."
The example you provided are not part of a Christian's demeanor.
They are sin indeed...for non-Christians.
I am sorry, an administrator might put me in correction over this but., I have to say this, As far as I am concerned you are a fake. And I am dusting of my sandals with you.
God bless and may you indeed go the rest of your life with out sin.

OK...I'm back in my chair...
If the Lord Jesus will convince me that His death and resurrection didn't allow me to live without sin, I will quit telling others that it can.

This is the kind of life I repented of.
These are the things that caused harm to me and to others.
Deeds of the flesh: flesh now dead to the glory of God.

The food bank I volunteer at actually made me sign a form declaring that I would not proselytize for my faith.
The nerve!
I still take my bible with me and leave it in everyone's sight so if they get interested in talking about it...we do.
We are supplied by United Food Bank, a corporate and government conglomerate.
Very anti God entities.
I am happy to speak about my faith when the opportunity arises.

You would make a mighty fine politician the way you side step issues and turn the light on some one else.
It is written..."But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light." (Eph 5:13)

To you, it is "tearing them down".
To me, it is "pulling them away from the fire".
No apology is necessary.
