God declares Jesus God

I never noticed this before in Hebrews, I have read hebrews many many times before, thought I would share it. God is calling Jesus God here

Hebrews 1-8,9

8 But about the Son He says:“Your throne, O God, endures forever and ever,and justice is the scepter of Your kingdom.

9 You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness;therefore God, Your God, has anointed You above Your companions with the oil of joy.”

Christ also said that we are gods. Christ was emphatic about giving God The Father The Glory. Christ also Tells us that God The Father is all powerfu. God The Father considers Christ His equal yet not even Christ knows when The Great and Terrible Day of The Lord is.

For me, I try not to get sidetracked on issues that are really not issues. I know this can hamper my faith and leads to nowhere. I understand your inquisitive nature as God has given us the nature for a reason. Since He always tells The Truth, I want to hear only The GodHead.

God Begat Jesus so he is Jesus' Father, not the Father of himself. Jesus went through a human existence without the weight of a carnal mind or nature that allowed him not to sin. After his death and resurrection he was glorified by the Father to now be the second God in existence but he is still in subjection to his Father. Read john 10:36 where Jesus tells the Pharisees that they are calling him a liar because he tells them that I AM THE SON OF GOD. Again look at Matthew 4:3 and 4:6 where Satan is tempting Jesus and even He says twice "If thou be the SON of GOD." Basically prove it. There is one God That showed us the path-WAY into Son-ship using is only begotten Son to do it. It is necessary to understand that Jesus being a man and then born again through his Holy spirit baptism and death became a GOD yet still the Son of God, as this is exactly what you are a man who then becomes born again and if you follow in his steps your reward is the same but in our case the subjection is to both the Father and the Son even though we are still called JOINT-HEIRS. The devil knows who Jesus Is and was and he knows what he attained too and it is this outcome he is trying to keep you from coming into. Be not decieved for there is only one Father and One Begotten Son of God and they are not the same entity.

Luke 24
51 While He was blessing them, He left them and was carried up into heaven.
52 And they worshiped Him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy
, 53 praising God continually in the temple.

we know from the bible we are only to worship God,, there are many examples in the bible of Jesus being worshiped confirming he is God.

notice when Jesus is speaking in John is says we confirming he and the father are one.

understanding Jesus is God is very important it is to understand how a sacrafice could be so good that it is able to offer forgiveness to the whole world for sin. It is to understand how much God loves us..

Jesus being a man and then born again through his Holy spirit

this is false teaching

Jesus did not have to be born again,

, John the baptist even had the holly spirit in him when he was in his mothers womb,

Jesus was God when he was a infant... proof of that is they worshiped him when he was a infant

Jesus lived the perfect life, that means his whole life even as a boy he lived the perfect life, that means he was free from sin his whole life he did not need to be born again, this false teaching.

If he did not have to be born again then why did he Receive the Baptism of John then as John watched the Holy Ghost descended upon him in the form of a dove. And after the wilderness temptations where Satan himself accused him of being Gods Son, he never denied it, then come forth with his ministry. It was the Spirit that drove him into the wilderness where Angels ministered to him (WHY if he was GOD did he need this), (WHY if he was GOD need temptings from Satan to prove his readiness).

WHY would he claim that the Pharisees were calling him a BLASPHEMER because he said I SAID I AM THE (SON) OF GOD.
WHY did he not know everything that was asked of him?
Why did he not know who would sit on his right or left side in the kingdom?
Why did he say that the works that were done it was the Father that dwelt in him that did the works?
Why did he say that the words he spoke were the Fathers words not his own?
How many times does He (JESUS) have to tell us that he was the SON of GOD and not GOD as he says "the Father is GREATER THAN I."
Why can we not rightly DIVIDE the WORD Of GOD? Jesus became a GOD at his glorification this is why the Holy Ghost, which he gives to us, was not available until after he received his reward. GOD gave it to him. Then after his maturation and glorification he gives it to us.
Why do we interpret the WORD of GOD in just one place as being JESUS and the thousands of other times its what GOD SAID?

These are black and white or red and white verses, easily understood ,straight forward statements, but somehow are twisted to fit a doctrine of the trinity.
The only way you get to the trinity is by misunderstanding one verse "the word was with God and the word was God." The WORD was not Jesus! Jesus was the manifestation of the PLAN of GOD for mankind including his only BEGOTTEN SON. GODS WORD NEVER RETURNS TO HIM UNTIL IT HAS FULFILLED THAT UNTO WHICH HE SENT IT TO ACCOMPLISH. Jesus paved the WAY for us to follow and fulfilled Gods PLAN(word) for him and we are to follow. If you believe he was GOD already then how could you attain to the same place as a SON of GOD if you did not start with the same opportunity? And if you can't see the reward is for you then how could you have FAITH to attain unto that reward.

How many times in the Old testament did God use the phrase Hear ye the "WORD OF THE LORD", these were always followed by a time of decision meaning that if you do this im gonna do that. So was he saying hear ye the Jesus whom I can't call by name yet? Or was he saying hear ye what im gonna do if you don't do or stop doing whatever he was warning them against? HIS PLAN

Can anybody explain to me why that the one verse "Let (US) make man in (OUR) image." Implies that there is more than one GOD? I.E. Who is US?
Given that for the next 4,000 years of mans existence GOD himself declares that there is NO OTHER GOD BESIDES ME! over and over and over throughout the Old Testament. If Jesus was there he couldn't have been a God yet or God would not say there is no other God besides me because he cannot LIE.

Until after Jesus' ministry, like a Prophet that Moses said God would send, his death and resurrection then glorification, GOD announced that Jesus was now a GOD himself making two. A Father and a Son both Gods. Hebrews 1

Is it possible that as GOD is omnipresent he made that statement seeing the conclusion of Jesus' ministry and subsequent glorification??????????
At the time that two would exist and concluded this is the plan so let (us) make man in this fashion as the outcome is a glorious one.

Scripture is clear on this Jesus came from heaven, understand you can not be in heaven unless you are born again, and that is whear Jesus came from heaven,,, so no need for him to be born again here on earth he is God after all.

I know there are false teachers like Bill Johnson of Bethal church that teach Jesus needed to be born again

, but here is for you so you can understand. Scripture is clear Jesus came from heaven, you cant be in heaven if you have to be born again

John 3:13
No one has ascended into heaven except he who descended from heaven, the Son of Man.

John 3:3
Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

And he said both of these verses after he received the Holy Ghost from his Father. Why was it even necessary for him to be given the Holy Ghost as thats what God gave him at Jordan?

He did tell us that you must be born of both water and spirit in order to see the Kingdom. And from what it shows he went through both requirements.
Being born of a woman and being born of the spirit at Jordan as we are told that at that moment the HEAVENS WERE OPENED UNTO HIM.

Indeed the Father doeth the works that dwells in him, just as he does the works when he dwells in us. Jesus is stating that he is not the Father in that verse. And that he (Jesus) did not do the works. And since God is a spirit your human eye cannot see him unless he wanted you too in which case your life would be over because you'd know what awaits you and your impatience will probably kill you. Which is why he would not allow Moses to see him either.

The words that I say to you I (JESUS) do not speak on MY OWN AUTHORITY, BUT THE FATHER. John 17:8"For I have given them the WORDS WHICH THOU GAVEST ME....... The spirit speaks from within you so no one could ever see it, but the works that are done by the spirit prove that the spirit exists, which is why he's saying how can you say show us the Father, the works that the Father does are proof of his existence. Besides this is all based on Faith so if they saw the above would apply and they would not operate in faith because they saw. Just as those in the second death will have seen, so the blessing is less than those whom believe without seeing.
HAVE YOU NEVER HAD THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD SPEAK TO YOU AND TELL YOU TO DO OR SAY SOMETHING? If you have not then I can see where these verses cause you so much trouble. When that does happen these will become clear.

the OT points to Jesus as being God, plain as day for some, yet confusion for others.

Isaiah 9:6
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace

And he was pronounced a GOD by the Father after his resurrection and glorification. I get the impression that the verse you quote your not understanding that
as a baby the government was not on his shoulders, he couldn't even talk, blank slate basically. So what was being said to happen to him and the names he would be called were futuristic and not all of them at the exact same time.
Government SHALL BE upon his shoulder but not at birth
SHALL BE CALLED WONDERFUL COUNSELOR but not at birth because he couldn't even speak.
MIGHTY GOD and that did occur as I said above. it was over the course of his life, ministry, death and then final glorification that all of this verse was fulfilled.
The immediate was A CHILD IS BORN, TO US A (SON) IS GIVEN. Again, even in the verse you quote God says a (SON) is given, not the Father himself.

Which would be the greater sacrifice. If you had to choose to die for your child or kill your only child as an innocent lamb for the sin of the world which would be harder for you to do?
Do we worship Jesus today? yes because we know who he is, the SON of GOD.
John 5:22-23 "For the Father judgeth no man, but has committed all judgement unto the SON. That all men should honor the (SON), EVEN AS THEY HONOR THE FATHER. He that honoreth not the SON honoreth not the Father which hath sent him."
You should read this section especially 19-26. Jesus makes a distinction between himself and his Father 7 times in 8 verses. How much more obvious does he need to be?

Luke 24:51 Time to be glorified and if he went then the Holy Ghost would come.
Luke 24:51 Of course they did. They watched him die and now he was alive and after ascending into heaven before their very eyes what they thought was the SON of GOD they now knew for a fact.
As far as "we know we are to only worship God" you best take another look at John 5:22-23

I've posted this revalation before, but I think that it is worthwhile posting
it again on this thread.

There is confusion in a lot of posts of which I understand why.

That God made everything in six days then rested Gen 1

And then the bible says that Jesus made all things.

Col. 1:1says that God created the heavens and the earth, then
Col. 1:16 gives the added detail, That God created all things through
Jesus Christ.

You must think spiritual, if you are not you will never understand.

This will be a shock to many Christians,Jesus made nothing personally

There is a couple of words that are so important.Jesus came FROM God
and the other word is God GAVE Jesus all authority over righteousness
and truth of which He brought to earth as an example of how we should
live our lives. Planned by GOD from the beginning.

So why does it say that God made things through Jesus.

It means that every thing, and I mean everything was made in the SPIRIT of RIGHTEOUSNESS
and truth, because of love. Gods righteousness and truth

It's not that Jesus (man) made anything, but the spirits that God GAVE
Him, not Him personally. E.g. Jesus didn't make evil, God did.
So He didn't make all things, or anything.

(2 Tim. 1:9-10). Who hath saved us(from sin) and called us with an Holy
calling, not according to our works, but according to His purpose and grace,
which was given us in Jesus Christ before the world began, but is now made
mani-fest by the appearing of our saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished
death and hath brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel.

Can you see from this scripture that everything was planned by God, even
Jesus Christ before the world began.

Hope this helps to stop the confusion, again it's a spiritual life, so think
SPIRITUAL.

I really don’t think they are going to get the “let us make man” part. Or the birth of the Jesus part. Him being the 1st. Of the Brothern into a New Capital C “Creature”. They can’t even think what God the Father has in-stored for them. That Jesus is the 1st. Fruits. Good luck, All of that light is blinding them.
