Acts 2.38 is not the plan of salvation?

What Bible do read and what does Acts 2:38 say ?
KJV
37¶Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

38¶Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Today we are baptised after we recieve the Holy spirit. Then we recieve remission and redemption, then we get water baptised as a ' figure ' .

All of this and more is addressed to Christian disciples who believed in Acts 2:38 and acted upon it to become pentecostal churches of the Roman Empire.
It is to these churches that Paul and the apostles are writing their epistles to - when they refer to the gospel and receiving the Spirit through faith they are presuming that all have done so in accordance with Acts 2:38.
They are most definitely not selling another gospel.
I didn't say ' another Gospel ' .I said in Acts 2.38 THEY ( and there are no Christians in the audience. They are all Jews. ) needed to repent and be baptised to recieve the Holy Spirit. Then in Acts they have to have hands laid on them to recieve the Holy Spirit. Neither of these are how we are saved today . Why is that a problem?

So baptism in water is not necessary for salvation then ?
Salvation can happen then.

Salvation comes when one believes God and repents of their sins and is given the Holy Spirit...John 3:3.

This can happen in or out of the water.
..God is not confined just via water, He is too powerful for that!

Being "Born Again " can happen during water immersion but not necessarily so.
You see, it is not the water washing away sin, it is the individual's personal belief and receiving the Holy Spirit from God.

Amen , I agree. But thats not what Acts 2.38 says . We clearly do not recieve the Holy Spirit and remission of sins AFTER water baptism .

SO says the "Baptismal Regenerationist".. The Campbellite Church teaches that heresy, among others (Roman Catholics included with their phony "Paedobaptism").

We are saved by the Blood of the Lamb. By Grace

Mar_16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Does this verse say if not baptized we are damned ? No it does not say that

Joh 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. That phrase "by me" is not talking about us.

Eph 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
Eph 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved Who quickened us was it baptism that quickened us?

Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

2Ti_1:9 Who hath saved us,
and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, .... Baptism is a what not a who...

I believe Christians should be baptized in a flowing river symbolizing the Liver Water, if at all possible .

Rev_7:14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

The Grace , Mercy , glory of Salvation is Of the Lord not our works .

Psa 3:8 Salvation belongeth unto the LORD: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.

Yes that is a problem for the original gospel is both for Jews and gentiles and still available today.
There is the full gospel of salvation by which believers become sons and daughters of God the Father by the Spirit of adoption - the Holy Spirit
and there are other gospels by which believers are servants of the gospel and of Christ Jesus - blessed and upheld through grace, but do not have the Spirit of adoption.

God needs no Prophane Man to perform any work to another, especially the work of laying hands. Thinking so is arrogant and prideful!!!

err what ??!!

God is Holy, Prefect and absolutely in no need of Man to perform ANY work associated with the salvation of mankind!!!

I think you may be confused on who God really is!!!
Beside, all that is done, was done before the foundation of any thing, long before man arrived!

Salvation today doesn't come from repenting of sins . 1 cor 1.21 . Eph 1.13 -14 .

I do not believe you have any idea what the gospel of salvation is.
Your postings are becoming stranger by the day.
Then provide a verse where Paul teaches to the Church that a person is saved by ' repenting of thier sins ' ?Where is this ' repenting of thier sins " verse please ?

If someone doesn't have the spirit of adoption today they will not be glorified.

Are you for real???
repentance is the very start and core of the gospel of salvation - without repentance there is no relationship with God the Father through Jesus God the Son.

21For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that BELIEVE .

Eph
13¶In whom ye also TRUSTED , after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye BELIEVED , ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

14Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
