Even if I am Pentecostal our church doesnt accept everything other Pentecostal worshippers do or how we practice it but it is true it is high on the emotional side and spiritual side as well. The one I am from is more of the older version of it not the new and modern styles. There are many things that we do not allow and watch out for what in modern times is allowed.
God's children are in many churches
You had every Church feels they have the niche on God and that everybody else is wrong . I have news for you there are many people in all the churches that love God and God loves all of them even though there are like a big family are going back and forth constantly saying that we know God and you do not and it doesn't really matter what church you go to cuz they all do the same thing I've seen it I've been around to quite a few churches .

But if you have love in your heart if you love God with all your heart and love your neighbor as yourself love your enemies if you have just plain I love then you have God already because what is God God is love and that's what you need to get to heaven love

Greetings

I am a Christian, a follower of Christ, I am part of the ekklesia, the body of Christ, the one true Church. In fact if we are not born again from above, we are not part of the ekklesia, we will be left behind.

There are no denominations in the ekklesia, man put denominations into the church, but which church? The kuriakon or the ekklesia?

Every denomination says they follow Christ, every denomination thinks they are right with God, every denomination leans a certain way.

I am not into religion, but I am a born again follower of Jesus Christ.

Religion's worship dead God's I worship the one true living God. Jesus Christ is the head of the ekklesia, the head of the one true church, the saved are born again, spiritual stones, we are all across the globe. (No denomination)

Trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding, or denominations understanding.

Shalom
There are many children of God that are not of the Christian denominations. In fact if I were to explain myself you're in this setup this forum that many of the Christians would argue consistently that I am false completely false but I know the truth as the Lord speaks it to me and what I have seen and experienced in my own life . I know there are many things that most Christians do not understand or do not see as being Christian but they are definitely oven in the Lord 100% .

So be at peace my friend and know that you have the Seal of God on your forehead

Greeting brother

God's children are in many places of worship across the globe, may I ask, what are you referring to as churches?

Most people refer to the church as the place they go to worship, have prayer and fellowship. That is not Biblically true.

People say things like, my church is this name one, or come to my church. Firstly we do not have a church, there is only one church it is the Body of Christ.

The place people call the Church, is the kuriakon, it is a building called a church, you will not find this word anywhere in scripture. The word kuriakon was created by the RCC as a name for the building but IT IS NOT anywhere in scripture. The church is also not the congregation in a said building, because in the world today lost and saved souls go to a place of worship called a church, lost and saved souls in a place of worship think they are the church, but according to God's Word they are not.

According to The Word, the church is the ekklesia, it is a congregation of two or more souls that are born again from above. The ekklesia is the body of Christ, the bride of Christ, it only includes the truly born again believers. And no denominations!

One place of worship may have 200 souls in a congregation, if 150 are born again, only the 150 are the church, only 150 are part of the ekklesia.

When Christ returns in Glory for 'His Church' He will be returning for the born again from above souls, they are his bride, they are the ekklesia, they are spread out all across the globe, together we are one body, though individually we are spiritual stones, the spiritual stones are built up together in Christ, the Bride of Christ waiting for their Groom, Jesus Christ to return.

Many years ago the Lord shared some visions with me .

I first was of all the churches and groups . All after the Resurection . All to the present .

Older churches such as Catholics and younger such as NonDenominational . Each feeling they understood God better than the others , each claiming " we know God , you don't " there was constant bickering back and forth .

What the Lord then said . There are many , many , many people in all these churches who love me , and I love all of them

John 3:1-21 (NKJV)
1 There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.
2 This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, "Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him."
3 Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
4 Nicodemus said to Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?"
5 Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.'
8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit."
9 Nicodemus answered and said to Him, "How can these things be?"
10 Jesus answered and said to him, "Are you the teacher of Israel, and do not know these things?
11 Most assuredly, I say to you, We speak what We know and testify what We have seen, and you do not receive Our witness.
12 If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?
13 No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven.
14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up,
15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.

16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

18 He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.
21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God."

The Truth is in The Word, not snippets or the odd verses here and there, but in The Word.

Every denomination thinks they are right with God, every kuriakon, place of worship called a church, think they are right with God. This should ring alarm bells when we read the letters to the 7 churches in Asia, not one was right with God.

God is Love brother, I agree, but that does not mean everyone goes to heaven. If that was the case we wouldn't have passages like the above, note, I do not quote single verses to make a point, that is straight from God's Word.

My friend may the Lord bless you always,

That is one of my favorite passages in Scripture but I wonder if you know what it means to be born again . Often people read the scripture but I only read parts of the scripture and not all of it or they don't read enough of it to really grasp what God is trying to say through his word . What does it mean to be born again

Being born again is not only to be baptized with the Holy Spirit anyone can be baptized with the Holy Spirit but it's not in the baptism of the Holy Spirit gets in the receiving of that baptism it's like anyone can be baptized by water but they need to receive the baptism of the water there is a difference between being baptized and receiving the baptism .

One way to study the New Testament we can read what it means to be baptized in the spirit when we read about what it means to be circumcised in the Lord

A Jew is circumsized physically but when we read in the scripture Paul talks about what it means to be a true Jew and what he's talking about is not the Jews not the born-again Jews if you want to look at it that way he is talking about us all of us because we are inheriting the kingdom of heaven we are the Jews or what the Jews should have been

It seems there is a limit to how much you can type on here

I had been talking about becoming a true Jew one whose heart is circumcised and what I was trying to say is that a person who is baptized in the spirit of God is also the same as a person whose heart is circumsized they are one in the same because it it's talking about the love of God pouring out from you if you cannot receive the spirit of God then you have do not have God within you and if you are baptized and your heart is not circumsized then you do not have the spirit of God within you even though you're are baptized it's only one you received the spirit of God and your heart is circumsized that the love of God pours out from you to the world and it's through that the spirit of God moves because what the spirit of God is is the love between the father to the Son and the father and the sons love to the father that's exactly what the holy spirit is love just nothing but love.

It is true that a person can lose their salvation we see this in the example of Judas Iscariot because if a person actually takes time to read about Judas he will find that Jesus sends the apostles into the town to do healings and casting out demons and we know that only a person who is in the Lord can cast out demons so when they come back to Jesus and they're excited about all the work that they've done and they're talking to Jesus about all these things Jesus makes us one statement to them he says Rejoice not here but Rejoice that your names are written in heaven .

I was a little whoops there because I signed it off before I finished it and I have to sit here and edit a little bit more or add a little bit more

So we look at Judas Iscariot someone whose name is written in heaven and as time goes on personally I believe that he became proud of the all this because pride is one of those things that really kills a person's faith and he chose to you know make the route for Jesus you know basically going God he's going to do what he wants versus what God wants and therefore betrays Jesus and that's all how that all came about but I'm looking at things like that then I also Jesus talks about who is able to get into heaven and you read where there's a man who comes before God than for Jesus and basically says but Lord I cast out demons in your name I healed people in your name and the Lord says to him away from me I never knew you and when we read that I think that this story is actually confirming about Judas Iscariot because that's exactly what he did he cast out demons and he healed people in the name of Jesus when he was sent out to all those towns but in the end he betrayed Jesus .

@ Kai -- That explains a few things. I'm Baptist - have been all my life. My understanding is that Pentecostal people are generally more emotion-based than others. Maybe their psyche is more sensitive to visions , etc. Pastor's of those churches tend to 'work' their congregations into emotions / emotionalism that can, at times, lead to 'allowing'/ influencing what they are seeing/ hearing. And, of course, That would depend on the pastor leading the congregation. Such things as 'slaying of the spirit'. " Dancing in the aisle" sort of thing.

I'm very conservative in my worship and would not be comfortable in that type of service. Many years ago I Was in a Pentecostal service -- closest to where I lived at that time. I went to three different services to observe what was happening. Realized it wasn't for me and my 4 kids.
Hello there Sue sorry for butting into the conversation here .

I find that many different churches have something really unique and each one of them I really enjoyed Baptist churches for a lot of reasons I've gone to quite a few of them I'm not Baptist but that's okay I like worshipping God quite simply, and I like worshipping God with other people

That being said I'm very interested in going to a Pentecostal Church so far the Lord hasn't led me to one but I've always thought that I could feel quite at home at a Pentecostal church just for the fact that the spirit tends to be a little more free there I'm not saying that the Baptist are bad but many of the Baptist with with some exceptions are tight kind of like the coach too tight for him and I kind of freaked out when I start well when the Lord starts moving in me and I started telling them different things .

Of course I don't think most people are used to a person like myself either . It doesn't really matter which church I go to the lord always has me going and talking to individuals and sometimes to the whole community I'm not a public type speaker and I always get a little bit nervous doing that kind of stuff but I've had a number of times where the Lord will have me go to the you know first of all I asked the head Minister if I can talk yeah which is usually a yes and then I will go stand up on the podium and start talking about what comes to my heart yeah I could be anything. It's however the spirit of the Lord moves me to talk.

But like I was saying I would like to go to a Pentecostal Church just because I think I could feel quite at home there at least if they allow the Spirit of the Lord to move freely .

In my own church I usually blow away about everyone. A friend of mine once had a small meeting told me go ahead and talk about anything bill we're all good with this. So I start talking about things of the Spot on my level they couldn't handle it too well .

You know that everyone has a guardian angel right , sometimes more than 1 as well.

It's common for me to have Angels come and talk to me about the people that's in their charge . Do you see Sue already it's stuff that's off the chart for some people here and this is just mild stuff .

I really wish you and others could experience the things that I see everyday well not all of it because some of it's pretty bad but at least see the good stuff the movement of God's Angels Among Us is just fascinating in a beautiful thing to watch as well .

You will love heaven when you get there

Greeting Bill,

We, gentiles, are grafted into the vine, it does not make us Jews. We are the Wild Olive tree, but through Jesus we are grafted in when born again from above. The root, the lump, is Holy, the vine is Holy, because Jesus is the vine, the branches that are grafted in are also Holy and will remain in the vine providing they bring forth much fruit.

Romans 11:13-27 (NKJV)
13 For I speak to you Gentiles; inasmuch as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry,
14 if by any means I may provoke to jealousy those who are my flesh and save some of them.
15 For if their being cast away is the reconciling of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?
16 For if the firstfruit is holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches.
17 And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree,
18 do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you.
19 You will say then, "Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in."
20 Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear.
21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either.
22 Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off.
23 And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.
24 For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, who are natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?
25 For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.
26 And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: "The Deliverer will come out of Zion, And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob;
27 For this is My covenant with them, When I take away their sins."

Shalom

Greetings Bill,

I agree, so many people quote single verse, often to cover their point or belief. I believe that John 3:1-21 is one of the most important scriptures in the Bible. Many quote John 3:16, the Gospel in miniature to point to God's love, nothing wrong with that if what they quote is in context. Others point to the beginning of John 3, to point to the fact we must be born again, again nothing wrong with that providing they know what it means, but rarely do I see people quote John 3:18-21.

These 21 verses in John 3 are also very important in context of the NT as a whole, there are many verses that people hear or misunderstand because they do not know John 3.

John 3:16 (NKJV)
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Acts 2:21 (NKJV)
And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the LORD Shall be saved.'

Acts 16:31 (NKJV)
they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household."

Romans 10:9-10 (NKJV)
that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

One verse is so often not enough to understand fully what is required by our Lord. Anyone can call, or say they believe, but does it come from the heart?

All these verses and more are woven together with John 3:1-21.

John 3:5-8 (NKJV)
5 Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.'
8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit."

If being born again never gets below the neck the person is Spiritually dead. So many think, even believe they are saved, it is their head telling them not their heart. Their hearts are uncircumcised, they are spiritually dead. Unless they are truly born again, they WILL NOT SEE the Kingdom of Heaven.

Most people are in the fast lane on the motorways of life, only the born again like the narrow country road.

Bless you

Amen brother.

Just one thing I have a issue with, it is a Gentile being a true Jew. I understand what you are saying, but we Gentiles, are grafted into the Holy Vine (Jesus), and the vine comes from the lump, the Holy Root. The Jews who have not accepted Yeshua are cut from the vine, the Gentiles, the wild olive tree, when born again are grafted in. Jews are still Jews, still God's people, though they have rejected God's one and only son, their Promised Messiah. Gentiles are still Gentiles, until the time of the gentiles is fulfilled. Jesus, Yeshua, the Jews Promised Messiah, is Jesus our Lord and Saviour, God's one and only son.

Bless you.

I agree. While technically Gentile just means "non Jewish" it is often used in the context of "a sinner".

Matt 18:17; "If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector.
Gal 2:15; "We are Jews by nature and not sinners from among the Gentiles;
1Thes 4:5; not in lustful passion, like the Gentiles who do not know God;
1Pet 4:3; For the time already past is sufficient for you to have carried out the desire of the Gentiles, having pursued a course of sensuality, lusts, drunkenness, carousing, drinking parties and abominable idolatries.

God is God of Gentiles.

Rom 3:29; Or is God the God of Jews only? Is He not the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also,

Rom 2:27; And he who is physically uncircumcised, if he keeps the Law, will he not judge you who though having the letter of the Law and circumcision are a transgressor of the Law?
Rom 2:28; For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh.
Rom 2:29; But he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that which is of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter; and his praise is not from men, but from God.

26 And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: "The Deliverer will come out of Zion, And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob;
27 For this is My covenant with them, When I take away their sins."

Shalom
A Jew in mans eyes is a person of descent from Israel. A Jew in God's eyes is one whose heart has been circumcised . As Scripture states " A Jew like that will not be praised by man , but will be praised by God "

Shalom
All of scripture must agree with itself . If you read of the Circumcision of the heart , and it isnt working with " setting the lamp up for all the world to see " , then there is something in your own philosophy or thinking that is missing . ( im just using this as an example ) ( im not implying in anyway you dont understand )
