1. God beats
the flesh out according to what we can handle. God can break your arm and any body part if it serves His purpose. If God wanted you to reach those in wheel chairs, He will put you in one.
This is not on par with me beating my kids to teach them something. We are adopted kids who need to learn to let go of the flesh and trust our new Father. Hence He says things like Matt 6:26, Phil 4:7 and faith of a
ridiculously tiny mustard seed can move a
mountain
.
2. a. You are jumping on the 'God' controls' statement by me in reply to your use of it out of its context. The context is healing. You and I are not demigods with our own power to bring about healing.
2 b. Have you shown me scripture? Please share the scripture you think teaches us that God has
promised us all prosperity and healing. I have seen
none.
3. This is why the peace we have from God
surpasses all understanding. Most would commit suicide in their first week in Job's shoes. This is why
Christianity cannot be faked. We look to heaven and trust God despite the crazy things He is putting us through. We have faith like Abraham had. Now please just understand that I am not espousing God treats us all like this. Nor that He puts us through what we can't handle. Using our God given brains + hands + no laziness = no poverty mostly. God does need some of us to reach the rich. God does certainly not need all of us

.
4. Or we can replace it with real faith and trust in God Col 3:2
Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
Rejection from prosperous Christians. Is there such a thing? Do rich Christians who mock the poor really think they are Christians?

:whistle.
5. You are assuming that is what it means. It does not. The good news that we can proclaim to the poor, sick, healthy and rich is that nobody has to be sad or depressed any longer. Mankind can be united with God. Mankind can reign with and live happily forever after with God. That holiday to Egypt that you cannot afford. Don't worry, God has invited you to heaven. It is actually....quite naive / sick to think Jesus is talking about prosperity for the poor. It is on par with thinking ''by His stripes we are healed'' has anything to do with bodily healing.
6. Well that is a very naive view of every poor and sick Christian. Do you think you actually lead people to Jesus if we advertise happy and prosperous life? You lead people to church membership not Christianity.
7. The whole bible backs it up. A poor person has not got much to fuel pride. Your statement is shocking. Gratefulness makes you humble? Hehe. The devil is grateful.
8. You are to eager to jump. You are missing the context.
You said "God beats the flesh out according to what we can handle. God can break your arm and any body part if it serves His purpose. If God wanted you to reach those in wheel chairs, He will put you in one."

I love this one!
Psalm 103:1-5 (CJB)
103 (0) By David:
(1) Bless Adonai, my soul!
Everything in me, bless his holy name!
2 Bless Adonai, my soul,
and forget none of his benefits!
3 He forgives all your offenses,
he heals all your diseases,
4 he redeems your life from the pit,
he surrounds you with grace and compassion,
5 he contents you with good as long as you live,
so that your youth is renewed like an eagle’s.
So what part of 'He heals ALL of your diseases' could you possibly miss?
So now, I'm getting really tired of all your talk with NO scripture to back it up...I'm challenging YOU to put your scripture where your 'mouth' is.....Put up or, I hesitate to say, shut up. I'll say it this way Put up or shut up and learn... Show me scripture not conjecture!
