What is the mind of Christ and how do we attain it?

Rom 10:14 But how are people to call upon Him Whom they have not believed [in Whom they have no faith, on Whom they have no reliance]? And how are they to believe in Him [adhere to, trust in, and rely upon Him] of Whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without a preacher? (AMP)

Everything "begins" by hearing the Word of God without which no one can believe without having faith first!

Sounds like your 100% invested into the English mistranslation of the Greek word pisteuo. Knowing how much work and effort it would take to enlighten you, I just direct you to what I've already shared on this thread.

I would say I am invested 110% in the Word of God that I have been studying for more then 43 years. If there is something I am missing the Lord will reveal this to me by his Spirit using his Word that will never pass away!

Php 3:14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
Php 3:15 Let those of us who are mature think this way, and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal that also to you.
Php 3:16 Only let us hold true to what we have attained.

Ding, ding, ding, this is your wakeup call.

You "are" missing something, and He is revealing it to you right now! And I'm using the word of God to do it.

So because He isn't doing it the way you want or expect, you ". Choose " to turn away from Him and continue on your own way?

It will be and must be your choice. But from now on, you can never say you didn't know the truth.

1Jn 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

The Lord teaches his saints how he says he does by his anointing and we do not need any man to try, and take his job away!

That kind of seems to go hand in hand with the " believe and recieve "crowd. Special Revelations from God, when they haven't yet done what He wants everyone to do first.

See ya on the other side.

Mar 11:24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Yep....I am a "believer"!

First, without the Spirit of Christ, prayer is useless. That would be claiming something that is not ours yet.

Second the word " believes " in Mk 11:24 is pisteuo in the Greek.

Vines definition of pisteuo : " a personal surrender to Him and a life inspired by such surrender"

Strong's definition: " pisteuo means NOT just to believe."

So being a " believer " will avail nothing. And more importantly hasn't availed nothing.

You might want to address your unbelief to the lord God about your concerns not to me.

Unbelief is a mistranslation also. There is no belief or unbelief in the Greek language. There is only pisteuo, an act, based upon a Belief, sustained by confidence, that moves towards God. And Apisteuo, anything other than true pisteuo is Apisteuo, any acts, based upon a Belief, sustained by confidence, that is moving away from God. Which is anything other than a Continually surrendered life.

There is no believing or unbelieving, no neutral or middle ground. Every person ever born has either been faithing towards God or faithing away from God.

The Greek language has no word in it's language for belief or unbelief, they don't acknowledge a state of being where one is only believing.

"Unbelief" From "The Complete Word Study"

apeítheia; gen. apeítheias, fem. noun from apeithḗs (G545), disobedient. Disobedience, unwillingness to be persuaded, willful unbelief, obstinacy. In the NT, it corresponds in its use with the verb apistéō (G569), to be unbelieving, opposing the gracious word and purpose of God; a stronger term than the syn. apistía (G570), disbelief, unbelief (Heb_3:12, Heb_3:19); hence we have the sons of apeitheías, disobedience, unbelievers, i.e., heathen, pagans (Rom_11:30, Rom_11:32; Eph_2:2; Eph_5:6; Col_3:6; Heb_4:6, Heb_4:11).
Syn.: parakoḗ (G3876), hearing amiss, hence disobedience; apistía (G570), unbelief; parábasis (G3847), transgression; paranomía (G3892), law-breaking.

Well I know you've never looked at Faith and faithing in the Greek before.

But that why we have Google! Everyone is an expert now.

I hope that if God does want you, you can figure out how to get out of the way.

I'll leave you to your own way

I think you have already said that. Never assume you know what other people know or do.

Pisteuo, or what the word of God communicates to us as saving Faith, is the only thing that must be obeyed. And that is to have a relationship with Christ, we must fulfill pisteuo!

What is pisteuo? Pisteuo is saving Faith, how Faith is applied in a specific act.

What is the specific act that must've obeyed?
Pisteuo is " a personal surrender to Him and a life inspired by such surrender."

And How does a person surrender to Him? By accepting Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. In That process a person Is surrendering their life to Christ. And then we continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ by reading His Word and talking with Him in Prayer.

He does the accepting, and the excepting!

The surrendered life must be genuine. If we have any expectations of something in return for our daily surrendered life, that's not a true surrender but a business deal or some kind of vending machine process.

If we surrender ourselves to an enemy on the battlefield, our only expectation would be to become a slave to the one we have surrendered to.

The surrendered life Does bring peace / blessing from God. And, of Course, it would be genuine. And it Is sort of a covenant between a person and God. It's being done in our heart. Romans 10:9 - 10 "that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness , and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. vs 13 for who soever calls on the the
name of the Lord shall be saved." And the rest of that passage is worth spending a minute reading. vs 14 vs 17 says Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

that's a very negative concept of surrender. That's only done if a group is ambushed // no way out. And often time in that situation the group is killed in the process. And often time, the soldiers were issued cyanide capsules to be taken in case of emminent capture by the enemy. Because the enemy has a horrible way of turturing their captives.

Sue, it looks like your never going to let go of that word "believe"! There is no such thing!

Now, that doesn't mean that if your fulfilling pisteuo correctly (a Continually surrendered life) AND believing what Christ did and says , believing will nullify the surrendered life or saving Faith. Believing is apart of pisteuo, buts it's not believing in God's word, it's believing that God is accepting the surrendered life. After that, nothing is your business anymore, your life and everything associated with it is Gods business now.

Every time you see the words believe, believer, and believing in scripture, that's pisteuo in the Greek. Just replace those words with the correct definition of pisteuo. Which is " a personal surrender to Him and a life inspired by such surrender", two specific aspects!
