Well, it's not that I agree with most of what The Great Baptist Peter Ruckman wrote. I am a Copelandnite or whatever, and Peter Ruckman does not even believe in tongues.
The Point was that he took a stance and believes that we do have a perfect Word of God and that God had more than enough power to preserve that Word. As for being led by the Spirit of God as Jiggyfly suggested, saying you heard God "gasp" would have been alien to him. Well, he's a old school Baptist, so you kinda expect that.
Well, Jiggyfly. I suppose I could have worded things better to not get banned, and if you want me to flag some post where you give a carefully worded response that would only be evident to a few, I'll be glad to do so.
