This is in reference to the law and its work. Read the entire chapter. In fact, read the entire book of Romans the relationship of the law to conviction and the need for spiritual restoration is present pretty much through its entirety. The fact that God will give the disobedient over to a reprobate condition is frightening enough but the end result of that is even worse. This is a terrible error you are advocating in spite of clear admonishment in The Word otherwise. I am not sure I want to continue this. You are not open to honest discovery or truthful examination.

You offer your own commentary and rationalizing without addressing the WORD OF GOD -
You are "ignorant and wise in your own conceits" -

You might want to factor Romans 11:25-26 into your analysis:

25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

If you don't want to continue, you won't be the first . .

Well, let us take a few more steps here since you are now accusing me of conceit while I am referencing The Word. I don't know why you are clinging to this since the final word is in Revelation at the White Throne Judgement. It is Final Brother and it is Done there is no room for misunderstanding. I used the term prosecutorial to describe your approach and that is the attitude you are displaying. There is no place for it in fact its foundation is your own view of yourself beliving your mind is superior to the traditional scholars millions of them throughout history. That my brother IS CONCEIT. Now we're done. God Bless you brother I don't mean to be offensive but your logic is way out of line here and the matter is settled once and for all in Revelation. Have a good evening.
