Rapture is false Doctrine

Matthew 14:28-33 (CJB)
28 Then Kefa called to him, “Lord, if it is really you, tell me to come to you on the water.” 29 “Come!” he said (Jesus). So Kefa got out of the boat and walked on the water toward Yeshua. 30 But when he saw the wind, he became afraid; and as he began to sink, he yelled, “Lord! Save me!” 31 Yeshua immediately stretched out his hand, took hold of him, and said to him, “Such little trust! Why did you doubt?” 32 As they went up into the boat, the wind ceased. 33 The men in the boat fell down before him and exclaimed, “You really are God’s son!”

So Peter climbed out of the boat at Jesus' Word...That was his authority to do so. But you already knew that.
Based on those who feel they need a scripture verse , before they can act in faith. This is not good enough.

Based on the way you think , he would need something from the Jewish texts.

You are using words that were not recognized as scripture at that time.

So do you see the delema with confirmation based thinking. Peter used true faith,, he had nothing to go on except Jesus.

True faith is just that, believing God without backup.

The early Christians followed the words of Jesus blindly. There was nothing for them to back it up , but they knew in thier hearts God was with them even to death and beyond.

Where is this type of faith now ?

Bill, ol Bill....I don't know what a confirmation based thinking is....I know what Word based thinking is...Peter wanted Word to give him the go ahead to step out of the boat...and the Word gave him the Word..."Come" You say that early Christians followed the words of Jesus blindly...What's wrong with that? They followed the WORD...You KNOW that Jesus is the Word....So what did they do wrong?

What words am I using that were not recognized at that time? English? Or "Come" Any word that Jesus utters any time you can take as scripture....
and that being the case.....I really don't know what you're talking about, I don't understand the fuss.

@Bill -- I don't under stand the 'problem' either.

I don't know what confirmation based thinking is, either.

Jesus Was the Word.

@ Amon -- meaning that even back Then, Jesus Christ Was the Word. And, yes, He still Is The Word.

Confirmation based faith . Where you always need a confirmation. " if it is not written in the Word, then it is not from God " 《《《 that was confirmation based faith.

True faith goes beyond this . It is where the only place you set your faith is in knowing God is with you. Where you will have nothing to fall back on , except Trusting God

@Bill -- John 1:1 "in the beginning was the Word, and Word was with God, and the Word was God. vs 2 He was in the beginning with God." Yes, Jesus is the Word.

Meet the lord in the air? Do you think it's spiritual? That hard to believe.
In the concept of miracles, why would meeting Jesus in the air seem so difficult.

If you really take a moment, and look at what we believe in with Jesus. We believe that Jesus is God, He came to earth because He loved us, and to pay our debt for sin that men made. Mankind tortured Him and crucified Him. And whats more we believe Jesus rose from the dead and then accended into Heaven.

So which is truly more crazy to believe as miracles.

Just something to think about
