No Repentance of Sins in Peter's Gospel

So you saved yourself by repenting of sins in order to get saved?
We have a choice and our choice will help us get saved if we believe and do what Jesus says.

1 Timothy 4:16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

Acts 2:40 With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, “Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.”

You just read two scriptures that say SAVE YOURSELVES.

So are you going to keep perverting the truth?

Are you going to keep going against God?
For God to grant repentance. Think about that. It is God that turns ungodliness away from Jacob for how we can repent of our sins so sinners can come to Him with their sins to believe in Him that He will deliver them from their sins.
God allows all to get saved by repenting of their sins.

Problem here is you keep seeing repent from sins when it doesn't say that

IT DOES SAY IT!

Acts 10:34Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: 35But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. 36The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all 37That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached;
for how they got the remission of sins for the Jews but I say it is repenting from unbelief by believing in Him is how the Jews got that remission of sins because that is how the Gentiles did plainly enough as written. See?
You are preaching against God's Word.

Just look at what you do---you post Acts 10:43 AND IGNORE WHAT IS SAID IN JUST A FEW SCRIPTURES BEFORE THAT.

You don't know that Jesus himself preached the same repent of your sins and HIS DISCIPLES DID THE WATER BAPTIZING?

Acts 10:43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins. <--- So far God is not opening your eyes.
44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.

There is something else you don't seem to know, and that is that PETER SAID THAT TO THE GENTILE HOUSEHOLD belonging to CORNELIUS.

Cornelius believed in God, feared God, and was devout. He prayed to God regularly, and must have been rich and used his riches to help the poor.

Acts 10:1 At Caesarea there was a man named Cornelius, a centurion in what was known as the Italian Regiment. 2He and all his family were devout and God-fearing; he gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly. 3 One day at about three in the afternoon he had a vision. He distinctly saw an angel of God, who came to him and said, “Cornelius!”

4Cornelius stared at him in fear. “What is it, Lord?” he asked.

The angel answered, “Your prayers and gifts to the poor have come up as a memorial offering before God. 5Now send men to Joppa to bring back a man named Simon who is called Peter. 6He is staying with Simon the tanner, whose house is by the sea.”

7When the angel who spoke to him had gone, Cornelius called two of his servants and a devout soldier who was one of his attendants. 8He told them everything that had happened and sent them to Joppa.

Acts 10:22 The men replied, "We have come from Cornelius the centurion. He is a righteous and God-fearing man, who is respected by all the Jewish people. A holy angel told him to ask you to come to his house so that he could hear what you have to say."

Cornelius was already someone who DID RIGHT AND BELIEVED IN GOD AND PRAYED TO GOD REGULARLY.

IT DOES SAY IT!

Acts 10:34Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: 35But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. 36The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all 37That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached;
That word was published not when John the Baptist had started nor during his ministry, BUT AFTER the baptism which John preached.
You are preaching against God's Word.
You are reading into His words what it does not plainly say. You infer John the Baptist's water baptism of Repentance for the remission of sins and continue to fail to see how sinners that believe in him has received the remission of sins.

What did Peter say in how the Gentiles were to receive the remission of sins? By believing in Him.

Acts 10:43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.

Look at the effect for the Gentiles that heard the word and believed the word by believing in Him in how they got born again of the Spirit and thus saved. It did not say the Holy Ghost fell on all them that repented of sins, now did it?

Acts 2:38; Peter said to them, "Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

The Bible warns about false teachers, telling people it's OK to continue in sin.

Jude 1:3; Beloved, while I was making every effort to write you about our common salvation, I felt the necessity to write to you appealing that you contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all handed down to the saints.
Jude 1:4; For certain persons have crept in unnoticed, those who were long beforehand marked out for this condemnation, ungodly persons who turn the grace of our God into licentiousness and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

Jude 1:10; But these men revile the things which they do not understand; and the things which they know by instinct, like unreasoning animals, by these things they are destroyed.
Jude 1:11; Woe to them! For they have gone the way of Cain, and for pay they have rushed headlong into the error of Balaam, and perished in the rebellion of Korah.

Jude 1:14; It was also about these men that Enoch, in the seventh generation from Adam, prophesied, saying, "Behold, the Lord came with many thousands of His holy ones,
Jude 1:15; to execute judgment upon all, and to convict all the ungodly of all their ungodly deeds which they have done in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him."

2Pet 2:1; But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves.
2Pet 2:2; Many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of the truth will be maligned;
2Pet 2:3; and in their greed they will exploit you with false words; their judgment from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.

2Pet 2:10; and especially those who indulge the flesh in its corrupt desires and despise authority. Daring, self-willed, they do not tremble when they revile angelic majesties,
2Pet 2:11; whereas angels who are greater in might and power do not bring a reviling judgment against them before the Lord.
2Pet 2:12; But these, like unreasoning animals, born as creatures of instinct to be captured and killed, reviling where they have no knowledge, will in the destruction of those creatures also be destroyed,
2Pet 2:13; suffering wrong as the wages of doing wrong. They count it a pleasure to revel in the daytime. They are stains and blemishes, reveling in their deceptions, as they carouse with you,
2Pet 2:14; having eyes full of adultery that never cease from sin, enticing unstable souls, having a heart trained in greed, accursed children;
2Pet 2:15; forsaking the right way, they have gone astray, having followed the way of Balaam, the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
2Pet 2:16; but he received a rebuke for his own transgression, for a mute donkey, speaking with a voice of a man, restrained the madness of the prophet.
2Pet 2:17; These are springs without water and mists driven by a storm, for whom the black darkness has been reserved.
2Pet 2:18; For speaking out arrogant words of vanity they entice by fleshly desires, by sensuality, those who barely escape from the ones who live in error,
2Pet 2:19; promising them freedom while they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by what a man is overcome, by this he is enslaved.
2Pet 2:20; For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world by the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and are overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first.
2Pet 2:21; For it would be better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn away from the holy commandment handed on to them.
2Pet 2:22; It has happened to them according to the true proverb, "A DOG RETURNS TO ITS OWN VOMIT," and, "A sow, after washing, returns to wallowing in the mire."

2Tim 4:3; For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires,
2Tim 4:4; and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths.

I'm not telling any one that it is okay to continue in sin but that sinners can come to Jesus to deliver them from their sins and not just give them eternal life.

Habitual sinners know they cannot stop on their own and so to ask them to repent of sins first is an assumption by many of what that repent of Peter's in Acts 2:38 is referring towards as far as salvation goes and that is to repent from unbelief by believing in Him to be saved since the Jews had crucified Jesus in unbelief in Acts 2:36 for why they were pricked in their hearts for doing in Acts 2:37 and so that call to repent in verse 38 is about repenting from unbelief by believing in Him to get that remission of sins because that is plainly what this same Peter said to the Gentiles in Acts 10:43-44 as they did get the Holy Ghost for having heard those words and believed and got born again;.

Acts 10:43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.

After salvation, discipleship begin as running that race does in living a life of repentance whereby with Jesus Christ in us, we can look to Him daily to help us lay aside every weight & sin in walking in the light in fellowship with the Father & the Son.

Many acknowledge that they are sinners in need of the Saviour and yet some will walk away because they cannot answer the challenging call to repent first BEFORE coming to & believing in Jesus Christ. Sinners are free to come to Him WITH their sins for Him to deliver them from their sins and to lead them away from temptations daily which is what we all can hope in Jesus Christ for in living as His disciples to be fruitful and ready to go when the Bridegroom comes..

1 John 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure....
....8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

2 Timothy 4:18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Peter is EXPLAINING THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST AND SAYS IT BEGINS with JOHN'S BAPTISM.
Let's put your comment in its proper context.

Are you saying that His disciples baptized others in the name of John the Baptist's or Jesus's or both?

John 4:1
When therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John,
2 (Though Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples,)

They could not nor did they incorporate John the Baptist's water baptism into Jesus's ministry or otherwise this could not be written for surely every one baptized by His disciples could very well claim they were also John the Baptist's disciples too if they were baptizing others the same way John the Baptist did in what John the Baptist was doing that water baptism for which is the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.

Think about that. They came to John the Baptist with their sins to be baptized for the remission of those sins. Their sins were not remitted until they had his water baptism. They did not repent of those sins before water baptism because those sins were not remitted until water baptism.

So coming to and believing in Jesus Christ for salvation is how they get the remission of sins because Jesus delivers them from their sins to no longer live in them for believing in Him..

Did you read that what Peter said to CORNELIUS and his whole household?

They were ALREADY those who worketh righteousness. That is what those who FEAR GOD DO.

Cornelius was already a man who believed and obeyed God by doing right.
Yet what did he & his household exactly do? Believe Peter's word that was heard that by believing in Him is how they got the remission of sins and so they believed the word heard and they got born again of the Spirit BEFORE water baptism, BEFORE coming forward and even BEFORE confessing Him with their mouths. AND that includes BEFORE REPENTING FROM SINS FIRST. Cry foul all you want but that is what is written.

Acts 10:43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.

I don’t know why people are responding over and over to the OP, who has been proven to be a false teacher. We are told to warn a few times and if they continue to teach falsehood we are to move on. I’ve long added him to ignore and moved on.

There are many wolves in sheep’s clothing. Don’t engage them endlessly to your own frustration.

The particular deceptiveness of this OP is that his doctrine teaches against repentance (look at this thread title) but when he is confronted about it he denies that he teaches against repentance. There is a spirit of confusion working in and through him and anyone who engages with him long enough gets confused as well. He contradicts himself even, because he is under a spirit of deception as well. Don’t be fooled by his politeness, the truth is not in him.

He tried to use that scripture to stop talking to me too.
I will tell you why I will still discuss with him, it is because I love talking about God, and, talking to him can be seen by thousands of people.
I don't like it when someone writes me off and glad he has changed his mind about discussing with me.
It does get frustrating, but again, there is nothing I would rather do than talk about God.

Part of the reason why I am discouraging people from engaging with false teachers is because the spirit of confusion can create confusion and influence believers as well. You won’t see any apostle or Jesus himself encourage you to talk ceaselessly with a false teacher or with someone who does not have ears to hear. Those who do pay attention to false teachers will soon find themselves drawn away from the truth, even if their original intention wasn’t to be drawn away.

Don’t give pearls to swine, it would be wise to listen to this instruction of Jesus. None of this is my advice, we are told to avoid false teachers and stop listening to them. There is a good reason for such instructions from the early church leaders.

Act 26:20 but declared first to those in Damascus, then in Jerusalem and throughout all the region of Judea, and also to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, performing deeds in keeping with their repentance.

Let's put your comment in its proper context.

Are you saying that His disciples baptized others in the name of John the Baptist's or Jesus's or both?
Why are you saying in the name of John baptizer?
You miss the whole point by trying to defend that false faith alone doctrine.

John's baptism is the baptism of repentance of sins.
John 4:1When therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John,
2 (Though Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples,)

They could not nor did they incorporate John the Baptist's water baptism into Jesus's ministry

You are badly mistaken, for the scriptures say John's baptism is the BEGINNING OF THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST. See Mark 1:1.

The scriptures say Jesus and his disciples started doing the same baptism of repentance.

or otherwise this could not be written for surely every one baptized by His disciples could very well claim they were also John the Baptist's disciples too if they were baptizing others the same way John the Baptist did in what John the Baptist was doing that water baptism for which is the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.

You are concerning yourself about something you should not be.
Even Jesus was baptized by John.
Jesus shows us the way.

Think about that. They came to John the Baptist with their sins to be baptized for the remission of those sins.
To save them from the wrath.
To prepare the way for Jesus.
We still have to repent of our sins to prepare our heart for Jesus to live there.
Their sins were not remitted until they had his water baptism. They did not repent of those sins before water baptism because those sins were not remitted until water baptism.
When some of the people were coming to be baptized BECAUSE THEY BELIEVED THE WRATH WAS COMING---John KNEW they believed the wrath was coming, and he knew THEY WEREN'T really going to repent of their sins!

John the baptizer was put in prison because he told Herod that when he married his brother's wife Herodias, that is was a sin.

Herodias hated John because of that and Herod had him arrested.

Mark 6:17 For Herod himself had given orders to have John arrested, and he had him bound and put in prison. He did this because of Herodias, his brother Philip’s wife, whom he had married. 18 For John had been saying to Herod, “It is not lawful for you to have your brother’s wife.”

You are your ilk who preach against confessing and repenting of our sins to get saved are hindering people from getting saved and making vipers.

Matthew 3:6 and they were being baptized by him in the Jordan River, as they confessed their sins. 7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming for baptism, he said to them, "You brood of vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? 8"Therefore bear fruit in keeping with repentance;…
They were already DEVOUT AND GOD FEARING and PRAYED TO GOD REGULARLY.

When we receive the Holy Spirit, we can receive the Holy Spirit before a water baptism, or after.

For water baptism is a CEREMONY of something that has already happened.

The person confess and repents of their sins to Jesus to get saved.

Acts 10:43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.

We have to hear the message and do what the message and believe.

The scriptures say Cornelius and his whole household were devout to God.

You don't think they repented of their sins even though Peter tells them that THEY KNOW OF JOHN'S BAPTISM?

The Gentiles Hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Acts 10:34Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: 35But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. 36The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all 37That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached;

Cornelius and his household had to hear the message and believe.

Acts 10:2He and all his family were devout and God-fearing; he gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly.

Acts 10:22 The men replied, "We have come from Cornelius the centurion. He is a righteous and God-fearing man, who is respected by all the Jewish people. A holy angel told him to ask you to come to his house so that he could hear what you have to say."

He won't be able to draw me away from the truth. Again, my debating him is being seen by others that might get benefit.

Acts 4:20 For we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.

Acts 9:29 He talked and debated with the Grecian Jews, but they tried to kill him.

Acts 15:1 Some men came down from Judea to Antioch and were teaching the brothers: "Unless you are circumcised, according to the custom taught by Moses, you cannot be saved." This brought Paul and Barnabas into sharp dispute and debate with them. So Paul and Barnabas were appointed, along with some other believers, to go up to Jerusalem to see the apostles and elders about this question.

Acts 18:28 For he vigorously refuted the Jews in public debate, proving from the Scriptures that Jesus was the Christ.

Acts 19:8-9 Paul entered the synagogue and spoke boldly there for three months, arguing persuasively about the kingdom of God. But some of them became obstinate: they refused to believe and publicly maligned the Way. So Paul left them.

2 Corinthians 5:11 Since, then, we know what it is to fear the Lord, we try to persuade men. What we are is plain to God, and I hope that it is plain to your conscience.

2 Corinthians 10:5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ. Galatians 1:10

Paul opposes Peter. See Galatians 2:11-21

Galatians 4:16 Have I now become your enemy by telling you the truth?

Ephesians 4:11 It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

Philippians 1:7 It is right for me to feel this way about all of you, since I have you in my heart; for whether I am in chains or defending and confirming the gospel, all of you share in God's grace with me.

1 Timothy 1:3-4 As I urged you when I went into Macedonia, stay there in Ephesus so that you may command certain men not to teach false doctrines any longer nor to devote themselves to myths and endless genealogies. These promote controversies rather than God's work—which is by faith.

1 Timothy 4:6 If you point these things out to the brothers, you will be a good minister of Christ Jesus, brought up in the truths of the faith and of the good teaching that you have followed.

2 Timothy 2:25-26 Those who oppose him he must gently instruct, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.

2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,

2 Timothy 4:2-4 Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.

Titus 1:9 He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so that he can encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it.

Titus 1:13 This saying is true. Therefore rebuke them sharply, so that they will be sound in the faith

Jude 3 Dear friends, although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt I had to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to the saints.

There can be no repentance without conviction of the Holy Spirit.

Joh 16:8 And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment:

2Ti 2:25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
2Ti 2:26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

I deny ever saying there is no repentance of sins when there is repentance of sins after salvation because that is what running that race is about; that is what moving on to perfection is about; that is what being His disciple is about.

But you have me on ignore so this correction continues to be unseen while you continue to support the falsehood that sinners have to repent of sins first before coming to & believing in Jesus Christ thus salvation is not of yourselves when it is, by your challenge to sinners to repent from sins first before getting saved.

Sometime I think most believers in this forum has forgotten what it was like to come to the end of yourself in realizing that there is nothing you can do to save yourself for why you acknowledge that you are a sinner in need of the Saviour.

I believe discipleship is living a life of repentance after salvation as we believe in Jesus Christ to destroy the work of the devil in our lives and for Him to deliver us from every evil work in preserving us unto His heavenly Kingdom as we look to Him daily in helping us to lay aside every weight & sin while walking in the light in fellowship with the Father & the Son in being fruitful as His disciples thus to be found abiding in Him by the grace of God & His help when the Bridegroom comes..

There can be no repentance without conviction of the Holy Spirit.

Joh 16:8 And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment:
That is about the everyone condemned until they come to Jesus to be saved.

That is NOT about the false teachings of Calvinists and Lutherans and their ilk.
2Ti 2:25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
2Ti 2:26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

That scripture is about being gentle with someone is falseness so they won't harden their heart and get defensive and go against you, so they can agree with you and repent of their sins like God wants all to do.

There can be no repentance without conviction of the Holy Spirit.

Joh 16:8 And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment:
Read what that conviction of sin is.

John 16:9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;
2Ti 2:25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
2Ti 2:26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
That reference is towards saved believers that have gone astray or ensnared by the devil like using tongues for private use as if the Holy Spirit is praying back to God ( and He is not per John 16:13 for He cannot speak from Himself at all but speaks only what He hears ) when God wants us to pray normally so we know what we had prayed for to give the Father thanks in Jesus's name for known answers to prayers.

2 Timthy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,
25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.
18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

So guess what tongues for private use gets in the way of? Them praying normally so they can get answers to prayers and give the Father thanks in Jesus's name for known answers to prayers.

So the only repentance necessary for salvation is by repenting from unbelief for why it is written over and over again that by believing in him is how we are saved as that is the will of the Father for how Jesus saves.

John 6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Even Paul cited nothing we did not even water baptism for how God is pleased to save those who believe the preaching of the cross.

1 Corinthians 1:17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.....
....21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

Where is it written that it pleases God to save those who repent of their sins?

Where is it written that God is pleased to save those who repent of sins first?

But you guys keep going around those verses as if it is not written and fail to see that discipleship after salvation is repenting from sins daily as moving on to perfection in bearing fruit as His disciples by abiding in His words.

You go against Jesus who tells us how to get saved, how to be the one he saves.

You are ensnared by the devil.

You go against Jesus who tells us how to get saved, how to be the one he says.

You are ensnared by the devil.
What do you say to someone you see walking away from your altar call to repent and you asked them why and they said they want to come to Jesus and believe in Him, but they have to clean up their lives first because you told them to?
