There is a saying that is almost universal amongst Muslims- "first Saturday and then Sunday". Basically get rid of the Jewish folks then start on the Christians.
What does the bible say about these two sons of Abraham? Yes they were brothers and yet the Muslims will always persecute the Jews.

Gal 4:22 For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.
Gal 4:23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.

70 years later the 'holocaust' is denied as fiction by the Arabian world. Just a couple of years later the Muslim world rejects 9/11

Thankfully those who pray and have faith in Almighty God have a bright future.......the Coming of the Lord God Almighty.

This is my 'hope'. A biblical hope which is a sure 'hope.

If you choose to ignore the number 1 news network in the world that is of course your prerogative. Having watched them for years (along with most of the country) I can say they seem to be the only network not afraid to air both sides of the issues. Looking at the ratings of the liberal news networks sink so low I think they may send you a fan letter for being on of their few followers.

Rizen1 perhaps you have never been in a war,perhaps you have never been attacked by another in your whole life? I am glad, if that is true! As for me, I served 2 Tours in Vienam,those of us who died there,died so that we who lived and made it back,can not only tell others,but show them,that even though, we fought,Jesus can even save us! Which he did me! The most hateful human being that ever came out of a war. Ground zero represents a war,true,none there could fight back,which makes this ground very similar to Pearl Harbor,if you have not lost friend of family that day,I am most happy for you! But to those of us who did,this grounds is holy,due to the relevance of 3 thousand people dieing in one single spot! For a cult that represents terror in every way, to bulid something, would be like the United States putting up a and Amercian flag at Hershomia, or Nagaska( spelled wrong please for give me) Not every person who is islam is a terroist,BUT!! every terrorist was islam!! Therfore to many of us, islam represents darkness,and darkness represents Peril,the same peril that happened, when so many people,were just out to make money for there familys,just looking to make it through another tough day.If you do not understand this,then I really feel very sorry for you,no one, has to live in the United States!! I don't really agree. Everone has freedom of religion, and I bet if someone wanted to build a chruch where they want to build the mosque, people would be fine with it. People have freedom of religion, America is called a free country, thus giving the rights of religion, marriage and choices. I'm strongly christian, but I do believe that America's free. And it's wrong to discriminate against muslims. like the other day, the guy fixing our garage discriminated us because my last name's Kuran and it's yugoslavic, but it's from the islamic background. I just feel bad that people can't live in America and not be discriminated because of their religion. I've been discriminated because I'm german (nazi), or because I'm christian (bible thumper, by my own family haha, it sucked), and i would hate to see other people going through the same discrimination :/

As far as Obama you won't have to worry about a second term. His pro-Islamic stance and failed economic policy couple with a plethora of disastrous policies will see to that. but I digress.

If these people were trying to spread peace, and realized everyone was upset about where their place of worship was going, they would build it somewhere else. After all, they want it to be about peace, right? But of course, its never about that...I too feel it is a conquering symbol, and do not wish for it to be there. Of course it is freedom of religion, and they can build it wherever they want. But if it were my choice, God is the only One who should receive our praises, so I wouldn't want it built at all. But, I am going to follow the law like Jesus wants us all too. If only my dreams and hopes of a Christian America would come...but for that to happen brothers and sisters, we must all stand up and take responsibility and really follow Jesus. Show His love. Try to be more like Him everyday. And one day, we may even have a world that follows Jesus...not just America. God Bless

That propaganda line is both indefensible and demonstrative of prejudicial thought. Where are the facts to support such a view?
Having most of the USA watching them counts for something my friend.
Unlike the CBS (Communist News Network), NBC(National Barrack Channel) and etc they do not try to influence people to their point of view (except on publicly declared opinion shows) but instead do something all the networks used to do- report the news.
I can see form your writing that you really do not understand what they are doing and are just going on info form those Pravda type networks.
Of all the people with such attitudes I have talked with every one who was open minded and willing to examine the facts had to admit they were dead wrong.
But anyway, you have already made up your mind so I do not see the point of discussing this with you.

Muslims did not condemn the events of 9/11, blaming the West for these evil peoples actions.
Didn't Jesus say, " If you are not with me, then you are against me".
So all muslims are equally culpable by their allegiance. They did not condemn it so they, by default, condoned it.

The Imam in charge of this product ( Imam Feisal A. Rauf) has a rap sheet as long as my arm. He is also a noted slum lord and espouses extremist speech.
His leading organizer (Sharif El-Gamal,) owes $224,270.77 in back property tax on the site and his company faied to pay half it's bill for several months.
Clearly these are outstanding citizens and should desecrate the memory of the 9/11 holocaust. Naming the buikding in celebration of the slaughter of Jews and Christians in Cordoba is also a nice touch and a real sing of care and concern.

I was quite surprised reading through this forum topic. I am new here, recently reborn, and was hoping to gather a fresh new take on Christianity. I thought true children of Christ forgave, and didn't judge. Since when are the material objects of this earth great enough to cause hate, or "annoyance" or "insult" if that's what you want to call it? Are we not supposed to love all regardless? Did not Jesus say to forgive and keep forgiving no matter how many times? Do we pray for those that we think are wrong, or do we talk badly about them? I must say I am quite disappointed if this is what everyone has to offer. Offer your prayers for these people, not your judgment. Who are we to judge?

And P.S. I understand that people use ground zero as a grieving site and there is nothing anyone can do to heal their loss. Only God can do that. To those who lost loved ones and still look to this site, know that it is not but a piece of earth, an earth that doesn't belong to us I might add. And know, too, that your loved ones are in heaven, not ground zero. Look up instead of looking down.

I'm so terribly sorry for your loss. The material object I was referring to was the mosque. Also, I have a few questions for you. Who are "these people" that you are alluding to? And I just wonder if you have ever heard of persecution?

Jesus said to forgive no matter how horrifically someone has hurt you, no matter how many times they do it, He said to forgive and forgive and forgive... always. I suggest you read Matthew 18:21-35. God does not promise that our lives will be free from harm, but He does promise that He will never abandon us as long as we live according to His will, loving all unconditionally- even our enemies.

I hope you know that your uncle is in heaven and that no harm will come to him any longer- he is in God's hands now. And for you I will pray; I hope God will help to heal you and your family and work to soften your heart.

Hate and revenge are never good things, Alex, they will never "make it better". On the contrary, if you allow them to take root in your heart, they will poison your entire life. You will never know true love because love and hate cannot co-exist in a person - remember Jesus' admonition that we cannot serve two masters (see Mt 6:24).

The Mosque at Ground Zero proposal is a severe test of your committment to Christ, my friend. I pray you don't fail it by allowing hate and anger to consume you. To follow Jesus is to become a forgiver, Alex, forgiving all the time - not condoning the sin, but forgiving the sinner.
