How can you say they are not Saved, when my answer was IF they have recieved Jesus and they have been sealed by the Holy Spirit unto the day of redemption, then they will go to heaven ? How can they be lost if they have recieved Jesus and been sealed by the Holy Spirit unto the day of redemption???
If a person's experience involves having accepted Jesus Christ as their own personal Lord and Savior , then That experience will indicate that a person is one of the 'elect' and your life will Also show it. We will act like a 'new creature in Christ'. We Will have new desires.
Yup ,you have bought into Lordship salvation .
How does Eph 4.30 send me down the ..erm ..toilet? Do you only read half the verse ?

You have this uncanny knack of reading scripture but not understanding it.
Ephesians 4:30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
The day of redemption is dependant on a disciple not grieving the Holy Spirit.

Our God is a awesome God who gives us proof of being born again we are new creatures the old has passed away, so what I am saying we know that they have NOT recieved Jesus because there life style has not been changed,,,,when God comes into to dwell with us he begins a work in us, and we will be changed. They have not been sealed by the Holly spirit because they have not repented,,,,,,,, deer sir I pray you understand this is a matter of eternal life,,eternal damnation in hell for ever, or in paradise for ever,,,,,,
You are actually suggesting that the Holly of Holly would dwell in someone and not have a effect on there life????

The World is full of believers, believe it or not. But what do they believe, that is the question.
Ask many people if they believe in God, they will say yes. Ask many do you believe in Jesus, many will say yes. Ask the majority do you think they will go to heaven and yes they do.
Ask are you born again from above, the number who say yes drops massively, Ask if they are washed and regenerated by the Holy Spirit, and again the numbers drop, many do not understand what you are saying.
The Word 'believe' in the Bible is so often misread or is liberalised.
There are many examples, but let us share one, where everything is in one place in scripture.
John 3:16 we all know it.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only son, so that whoever BELIEVES i
on him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
Another verse elsewhere...
BELIEVE on the Lord Jesus and you will be saved.
So people say they believe, but is it in the head or the heart?
Now let us go back to John 3:16 again, that word BELIEVE, what does it mean to believe?
The answer in context is included in John 3:1-21. Note all 21 verses.
Jesus first says in John 3:3; John 3:5; John 3:7 - unless you are born again, you will NOT SEE, you will NOT ENTER the Kingdom of God.
You should not be surprised, Jesus said, that ye MUST BE born again.
Believing mentioned here is not just believing in worldly terms, even satan believes there is a Jesus Christ, anyone can believe in their minds, but do they believe in their heart, is Jesus in their heart, are they in Jesus and Jesus in them. You can tell a tree by its fruits can we not.
Unless we are born again from above, John 3:1-21, we must read and fully section to fully understand all of this scripture, the beginning, the middle and the end, all of it.
Here is an additional scripture further confirming what we read in John 3.
Titus 3:4-6
4 But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared,
5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy HE SAVES US through the WASHING of REGENERATION and RENEWING of the Holy Spirit,
6 whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,
Only those who are born again from above, who have been experienced the washing of regenerating and renewing of the Holy Spirit are the BELIEVERS discussed in John 3:16, who are born again as in John 3:3, 3:5, 3:7. Only the one's who believe on Him, Jesus, in our hearts with Thanksgiving and Praise. He is in our hearts, not just our mind.
1Cor 6:9
Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God?
We are not righteous if we still sin, because sin is in us, until we are born again, washed and regenerated.
When Christ is in us, we are no longeriving in darkness, we are set free from sin, we are in the light, the light is in us. We understand God hates sin, it is the opposite to righteousness, we no longer want to sin, we are his, this is Believing as mentioned in John 3:16 and elsewhere. It is in our hearts not out heads.

See this is just wrong on so many levels,,,,,,, I have stated that it is grace that saves us,,,,,,,, matter of fact I here a lot of people accusing Paul Washer of LS yet he also states its grace that saves us,,,,,,,LS is another man made tern not found in the bible.....

Erm .. With normal reading comprehension its saying . AND !!! Grieve not the Holy Spirit of God , because if you do boy you will blow it , ...nope ,doesn't say that " WHEREBY !!! ye ARE sealed !!!!! unto the day of redemption. SEALED !!!! ( TILL WHEN ?? , HOW LONG ? Till you mess up ? Till the 4th of July ? "unto the day of redemption.

Amazing! I answer that IF they have received Jesus and have been sealed by the Holy Spirit unto the day of redemption then they are saved and will go to heaven ,and folks respond , " No " ? Are you serious ? How is that a biblical response. Do you see the problem with Lordship salvation ? You should do .

Like I wrote - you read but have no understanding of what scripture teaches.
Its because you've bought into the ' smoke and mirrors ' . I said its subtle . If you understand the 5 points of calvinism it makes more sense . Yes what Paul washer means by being saved by grace ,is the I in TULIP . 'Irresistible grace '
Which in turn links to the U . Unconditional Election . Which links to the rest . All beginning with the T . Now the P is where I unravelled the paradigm for myself and got out when I did . Its not easy to find your way out once you've been in for a while . So a ' Elect ' person who's been ( awakened like a Soviet sleeper agent ) Irresistibly zapped as a frozen chosen , of Course MUST prove to be a P ersvering , fruit 'one ' and not such a one as Calvin described of only having ' Evenescent faith ( temopory ) . A calvinist has no verse that Says Jesus died for HIM ( limited atonement) Thus he MUST endure till the end to be saved . Which is the same verse quoted by those who hold to conditional salvation . ( And Catholics/ cults) Thats the trap. No assurance apart from your works . Its why many famous cslvinists on their death bed where quoted to be in fear ,because they didn't know if their ' fruit ' had been enough or their lives had been inkeeping with a ' elect ' one . It s why Paul washer sounds like he's preaching ' loss of salvation " of course most just see his emotion as ' sincere and reverrrent ' . But listen to Him and Piper warning all the time about false converts , alter calls , behaviour in the church ect . Just like those who preach loss of salvation . Its a contradiction. Everything's determined in Reformed theology. No one can do anything about their salvation. No more or less will be saved.
Lol . Its you that has read into the text what it actually does not say . I believe its good to not grieve the Holy Spirt . And I believe it s the Holy Spirit who has sealed us unto the day of redemption, ( if we have believed ) Part a of the verse does not cancel part b .
