If I were to prophesy over you but all the while I was looking at Taro cards would you see anything wrong with that? This is exactly what is being done with Christmas, it is a mingling of truth with the deception of the enemy.

I hypothesis the main issue against celebrating Christmas is a combination of Christmas falling on the day of a pagan holiday and an ancient pagan tradition of decorating trees and placing gifts under them for some sort of god, assuming my memory is remembering properly. Unfortantily, I'm only good at remembering general information retaining long term source information and specified data is quite difficult for my memory-set.

It is not about choosing the right day to celebrate Christmas
The fact is that Christ was never in Christmas.
Christmas is not scriptural and therefore no day would be right.
The Roman Catholics added the name of Christ to the word Mass (latin - dismissal) and mingled it into the pagan celebrations.
The early church did not celebrate Christmas and you will not find it anywhere in the scriptures.

Everyday Christians should celebrate and rejoice in the Lord's wonderful love to us, His perfect life, His death, His ressurection.
In accordance to His Word, we remember His death, His body broken and His blood shed by breaking bread and taking wine.

And yes let us all praise and thank the Lord for His wonderful gift to us.

A tree is not necessary. The baubles and glitter are not either. What do we want then? Family. A feast. Singing and a lot of love. That's Christmas to me and many many Christians.
