I would also say, even if you don't have all the scriptures in front of you, you are much like Peter, where God has revealed this to you, and proof of your faith. Believe this, from Christ's finished work on the cross, you are forgiven. What you are doing now are known a first fruits of the Holy Spirit....congratulations and keep growing!
