@judge not -- what about Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, Not of words, lest anyone should boast.
The theif on the cross went to be with Jesus -- he didn't have any chance to be baptized.
If a person is in a car as a passenger and accepts Christ as personal SAvior and then is killed in a car wreck. Is that person saved or not.
Or , in my own case -- I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior and felt wonderful inner peace immediately -- yet -- it was quite a while before I was baptized. Being baptized by immersion shows other people what has already taken place in your heart. So -- according to the two Scriptures I shared previously 1 Corinthians 15 and Romans 10:9-10 -- to be saved, what is required.
And, yes, believers Will be judged according to what we've done as believers -- but those are 'works' we do to please God -- Not to earn our salvation.
And, yes, people see our salvation By our works. But our works are not what's saving us. It's where we place our faith -- in the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
