I dont throw any stones. But I do have the choice to make my voice heard about truths, to include seeking a more moral society to live in for both myself and everyone else. You can choose to ignore evil and live in sodom and gamorah and just try and avoid the evil, but it will affect you and those you might love, to corrupt you more just like it did with the family of Lot.
Hi Brad, but by advocating for the Death Penalty are you not as those with stones in their hands, are you so without sin that you feel yourself able to press the switch, put in the needle or pull the trigger?, ........ and i do not "choose to ignore evil and live in sodom and gamorah", i fight against the many evils of this world but am only too aware of my own sin, and as for "living in sodom and gamorah", i feel like that every day, this world is an eveil and corrupt place, worshipping the false idols of Greed and power, driven by selfishness, envy, lust and hate, hundreds of millions of men , women and children live in abject poverty, millions of young children die from hunger and disease while a favoured few live in wealth and comfort, billions of Animals suffer and die in factory farms and slaughterhouses to satiate our lust for their flesh, and we rip up the Earth, tear down the forests, pollute the rivers and Oceans , poison the air we breathe and pump so much Carbon and Greenhouse gases into the Atmosphere we are changing the very climate itself on which ALL life depends, and for what, for Money, for power, for Mammon,....... i will not cast the first stone for i know my sins are many and i pray daily for forgiveness for the pitiful life i lead, Judgement is mine says the Lord, and although many times i cry out for vengeance i know thats how it should be.

Hey don't mean to butt in but it is written

Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.”

Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?”

learn to do well. Seek judgment, relieve the oppressed; judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.

"Depart from evil, and do good..

It's written we will know His children by their fruits..

To not judge or discern what one is truly dealing with to turn a blind eye and to keep a closed mouth not speaking Truth is not of the Lord frfr

I apologize for buttin in but I don't understand the don't judge crowd like why would one just read part of a verse n run with it..

We r told to be as gentle as doves and wise as a serpent..

Idk I just don't get that whole act like your blind and deaf while I go stealing and if ya call me a thief your Unchrist like lol never made any sense to me but it does give me a chuckle still

Hope all's well
Thanks for that Twistie, i have always read " Do not Judge" as pertaining to Judgement of Salvation or condemnation and also a recognition of the sins we all have, "take the beam out of your own eye.....", its all too easy to point the finger at others while failing to see the many sins we have committed and continue to commit, the saying " hate the sin but love the sinner" comes to mind, .... just one comment on your point about "stealing", many if not all of our societies and countries have been and continue to be built upon the oppression, exploitation and theft of land and resources from others, we are only too quick to condemn the sins of the guy who steals $100 from a store, or who steals a car, but what of the theft and exploitation of whole peoples that have resulted in mass suffering and death that our lives are built upon, but thats probably for another thread, thanks again for your thoughts.

1. The context of 'judge not' in Matt 7 is 'punish not'. Note how His words stopped stones, not thoughts. Christians are to judge all things 1 Cor 2:15.

2. I agree with you on the death penalty. I believe that all living still have hope to repent and make right with God. But, at the same time it could be considered a good thing to make an example of a few by executing them. Take the rapes of girls in the UK by immigrants. A few executions will fix that problem.

3. Charlie Kirk, can't find good footage? I have watched a lot of his videos, they are all good. Not a single one is bad. I think you are just watching short clips and not full length videos.
Hi King J, thanks for your reply, as i've said i think the context of Matthew 7 is not only in relation to eternal judgement, which is Gods alone, but also a recognition of our own sins and failings before we attempt to judge the actions of others,......"But, at the same time it could be considered a good thing to make an example of a few by executing them. Take the rapes of girls in the UK by immigrants. A few executions will fix that problem.", if the death penalty resulted in a reduction in violent crime then the US would be the safest country in the developed world, but look at the stats , it isnt, and as well as being contrary to the teachings of Christ fails to reduce violent crime and just makes society as a whole more brutal and corrupt, just wonder why you picked on Immigrants raping girls in the UK, violent crimes are not restricted to any particular group or religion, we're ALL sinners and all capable of the evils we see in this world,.....i suppose it all comes down to your definition of "Good ", i've watched a full video of Charlie Kirk as well as many clips and it seems to me that he excelled in pouring petrol on some of the most inflammatory faultlines in US society, Racism, Immigration, the Death penalty, depicting his political enemies as "Evil" and the promotion of Conspiracy theories that caused division and hate, but i'm willing to learn so give me one of the best videos you have of Charlie Kirk and ill give it a watch, Many thanks for your thoughts.

I didn't say condemn.. there's a big difference in making a judgement call n condemning one.. perhaps the word isn't judgement I'm not really sure if that's the proper word or not but it's the only one I can think of
What's real sad about the no I don't judge is that it has even left them Temples many dwell in they accept what ever will bring their cash in hand they don't even settle disputes between their own congregation..
If only I new back in the day what I have learned in my years walking with the Lord..
ITs written His children will be judging the angels n yet they r unable to choose which is right n wrong in a dispute between what is supposed to be called brothers n sisters..
Seems the more watered down they make the Word the more man seems man for answers and the more Lost the world becomes..

At one time I didn't use my judgement n lost what was most precious to me back in in the day I trusted the peoples words instead of actions funny how telling people don't judge n just accept can destroy ones inner being..

Idk I just don't get that don't judge turn a blind eye..

I thank the Lord for what He has revealed to me.. and Now consider what is Lost Dung and what should be a blessing..Lord gives me the strength by allowing me to Love Him and not drown in a river of sorrow and grief..
Loosing A3 children I guess give one a whole new perspective on how one sees things but ya I will never walk around blindly not making judgement calls so I can discern what is best ever again

Good morning and Hope all is well with ya..

For this is the day the Lord has made Let us rejoice and he glad!

Hi Rad, some of these talking points are off topic to the thread, I will create a new thread for them.

Regarding 'finding good' Charlie Kirk videos, I am not going to go down that rabbit hole with you. Why don't you rather be specific on what exactly he said that you disagree with. He had a great way of speaking politely while getting straight to the point. Every one of his videos was excellent.

I appreciated how he didn’t dance around the point. Some found that offensive, but that reflects more on them than on him. It’s like teaching math today—some people don’t like being told that 1 + 1 = 2. But facts are facts, regardless of how they make you feel. If someone is overly sensitive, that’s their issue, not anyone else’s
