Charlie Kirk

anyhow, christians have always had to meet in secret. always.

you want to be the next charlie Kirk... you need to be ready to be killed. its just how it is.

Jesus told us to be screwed as serpents and wise as doves.

Paul tells us to live a quiet life. well... he didn't. maybe he was speaking from experience.
Hi Joestue, how ya doing ?

Yes many sites that are called Christian are dying, and some are actually not of God to begin with, and some God actually wants dead, because he is not in it.

When we read the bible, it seems that one thing that the apostle Paul and others did, is sought the Lord's face, and sought the leading of the Spirit, and there are times God said no go not into that city or place, other times he did allow such and such, we do need to let our light shine in the darkness, but also have discernment, and go by God's leading.

There are some who go into the fire with people in trying to change them, but they end up being changed, so we must guard our hearts, and carefully walk with God, and know his heart even on the present matter.

Is it wise to be on every Christian site you can think of, no, but as the Lord directs you, do so, but carefully walk with God.

As you say Joestue be wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove.

Ya in certain cases, we may have to meet in secret, and be careful of ecumenicalism, which purports to be true unity, but is not.

Ecumenicalism is infiltrating everything, it seems even TPUSA.

Yes if we want to be effective in ministry, we have to understand fully what Jesus meant when he said apart from me you can do nothing.

The internet is dying in terms of usefulness for public discord. All the information everyone puts on it is being vacuumed up and recorded forever. And will likely be used against you, forever.

I have heard a few plausibly accurate accounts from as far back as as 15 years ago in which the fbi Investigated a juvenile or young adult for making a bomb threat online. The feds showed up to his parents house with on the order of 2 bankers boxes of his internet history, just to scare him with how much they knew about.

Back in 2005 i creeped out a handful of my highschool acquaintances by suggesting we build a database of every unique person on the internet by scraping all the data you can. (Myspace was the biggest but there were like 70 others).

Today everyone has an understanding that the advertisers already did that...

Hello Rad,
I thought the entire episode in question would benefit anyone interested. I also added a Snopes review, which of course is not conservative to see their thoughts.

Thanks for sharing. It's good to look at the entirety of man before coming to a decision, but as a Christian we also know that we all fall short in one way or another. Only Jesus is that perfect one that we should look to.

With the Love of Christ Jesus.

Thanks for that reply Nick, it helped to put it into context, from the video i watched it looked like Charlie Kirk was endorsing 12 year olds being executed, now it seems he was endorsing children watching executions, although an age of consent wasnt specified, it still seems far from Christs teaching, obviously the taking of anothers life was OK with him and he considered himself able to cast the first stone, i have come across other quotes and videos where Charlie was talking about some Black women not having the Brain power of whites and that if he saw a black pilot flying his plane he'd ask to see their qualifications, i've seen him saying that MLK jnr "was awful, Hes not a good person" and was critical of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 banning discrimination against Black people and that he believed gun deaths and mass shootings were "worth it", heres the quote "Turning Point USA CEO and co-founder Charlie Kirk said of gun deaths on April 5, 2023, "I think it's worth it. I think it's worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights.". I hear what you say about none of us being perfect, but when do we get to the point where are words and actions are so contrary to the faith we profess as to make that faith meaningless. Can you imagine Christ agreeing with any of the things Charlie Kirk said?.,

When Jesus saw an evil spirit in someone, He would often cast it out. The person would be left with the choice to let evil invade again or to protect himself with a "strong man" (The Holy Spirit is the strong man in me that protects me from such invasion). But we dont have the inclination or ability due to seperation between church and state to cast any evil spirit out of evil people. We must be content to let God's chosen authorities found amoung human justice systems to deal with the evil in people. And perhaps you like evil people (we are not talking about minor sins here) to be free to commit more and more evil upon others, but me being sane and wanting a justice in this world and knowing it will happen in the next, I want to see swift justice for the sake of those who cry out for justice. Sometimes even people who we consider underage (it varies with cultures and history) do terribly evil things and laugh about the crimes in front of those who seek justice... thinking they are free to do more due to their age. In some cases where I see no repentence, I would be glad to see the death penalty given, broadcast publicly for the sake of the other evil people out there. Often its only the threat of death that would make people fearful of retribution and cut down on such violent crimes. They shut down mental institutions and can only jail for a time evil people, who often come out more evil than they did when they were incarcerated. Perhaps you like a world filled with evil people who are given free reign to commit more and more evil. I dont. But back to topic. Post a link to said video where I can see if some parts of the video was left out to try and make him look bad. You were pretty vague about it.
Hi Brad, Heres that video you requested, the relevant part is at 5:27, i'll reply to your post fully when i have more time

that was a consolidation of short clips, again I mentioned that its not a good idea to make judgements against charlie until you watch all of the speech in each controversial clip.

No I can't, and I'm sure Christ won't be agreeing with any of us in all we say and do as well. There in is the issue. We truly attempt to be Christ like in word and deed, but fail miserably, but we continue on in our walk. When we do wrong, we ask forgiveness and try to correct the wrong done. The problem now with Charlie Kirk, is that he'll not have that opportunity to do so. While we still can.

I don't seek to lift him up, but rather Christ through what he was able to accomplish, and say, if we focus on the Gospel portion of what he communicated. Focus on the flesh, and that is all you will get. Seek the perfect communicator that walks the perfect walk, and you have only Jesus, which is as it should be, but then should everyone else just shut up and not say anything, in the face of evil, and great wrong that we know exists in the world today?

So, pointing out the wrong things he has said is fine, but if you don't balance the positive things he has said as well, then whose work are we really doing here? That is why I added the original full content that I could find. We've become too accustomed to hearing/seeing short clips, that context is never considered, and it is seen as encapsulating truth, the complete truth. When we who study scripture, know this is never the case. Only God knows it all. The good and the evil. (Proverbs 15:3)

I admired the young man, for what he was attempting to do. We who have worked in the world as believers have always walked the fine line between spreading the Gospel to those who don't believe, and going against the work requirements that many times says we should not. Brother Kirk, found a way to have a conversation at some of the most liberal, anti-religious places in the world, and still was able to share the Gospel as well. Find some of those clips and share them as well. I would almost guarantee that there are fewer of those, and the views even less, though he was aways up front with sharing his faith in Jesus Christ at almost every gathering he was the originator of! :(

So, search out more items he talked about that you know are not Christ like, or disagreed with, which could go either way, searching out context as it should be, but remember there's an old adage that makes a lot of sense "you don't throw the baby out with the dirty bath water". For when we attempt to defend our point of view in the matter; while disregarding the portions that are uplifting and true who does it benefit? It surely will surely benefit the adversary more than it does God. Though we are grateful that God can turn that which is meant for evil to good! Alleluia!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts brother.

Its been in the news big time. His assasination by a liberal kid who is gay and has a transgender boyfriend furry. The fallout from this terrible act seems to be a large movement in the Holy Spirit to bring alot of ppl closer to Jesus. Praise the Lord. Might this be the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the last days? Triggered by a kind and loving man who loved Jesus and often said it on campus's around the world to young kids who are being molded by evil ppl to love communism, liberalism, and Islam and to hate anything that stands against them.
Father God turns everything that the enemy throws at us, into victory and His Glory!
I am hoping that this massive Movement continues to grow exponentially around the entire Planet

Many thanks for that reply Nick, it gave me much to think about, as i said, before his assassination i'd never heard of Charlie Kirk and it was only the great outpouring of sentiment and outrage that made me question further just who this man was who was causing such passion and calls for revenge, and the further i've looked the more disturbing it seems. So perhaps to balance the situation could you give me some of your best quotes or video clips of Charlie Kirk as i would like to get the complete picture of just who this man was.

Hi Brad, i dont want this to turn into a debate about the Death penalty or the nature of Evil, alls i would say is that in Matthew 5 vs 39 Christ said "Resist not Evil and whoever would smite you on the right cheek offer the left also", in Matthew 7 vs 1-2 he said "Judge not that you be not judged, for with what Judgement you judge you shall be judged...." Evil comes in many forms in this fallen world, from the murderer to the child rapist, to those that live in wealth and comfort while millions suffer and die in poverty, to the arms manufacturers who deal in death and destruction and the bankers and Financial institutions who with a stroke of a pen condemn millions to lives of oppression and destitution, and the Oil and Gas companies who through their greed have brought this world to destruction. In John 8 vs 1-11 Christ says of those wishing to stone the woman taken in adultery, " Let him without sin cast the first stone", my sins are too great to cast the first stone but perhaps you feel yours aren't. I believe we have to lock up those that commit violent crimes but that many of the real "criminals" are free to commit their Evil without consequences and i would never advocate for the death penalty for i see that Judgement as Gods alone. I also recognise the contradiction in my beliefs with Christs words of not judging and not resisting evil, but thats so often the case, i know what i should do but fail to do it. Anyway back to topic, perhaps you have some video clips of Charlie kirk showing his better side as most of what i've seen up to now hasn't shown him in a very good light . Thanks

Our human enemy, those who refuse to repent and accept Jesus think their victory is our death or those we love.
What they fail to learn as do many Christians is that our (human) existence doesn't stop at death and unbelief allows them to go into "nothingness" or whatever they subjectively believe.

In John 8 vs 1-11 Christ says of those wishing to stone the woman taken in adultery, " Let him without sin cast the first stone", my sins are too great to cast the first stone but perhaps you feel yours aren't.
TLDR, but that's an accusation that better be backed up with more than "perhaps". Bad.

I believe we have to lock up those that commit violent crimes but that many of the real "criminals" are free to commit their Evil without consequences and i would never advocate for the death penalty for i see that Judgement as Gods alone.
The eternal damnation meant for devils and their human worshippers is the consequence.

I also recognise the contradiction in my beliefs with Christs words of not judging and not resisting evil, but thats so often the case, i know what i should do but fail to do it.
Saint Mark chapter 16:15-20
15 And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

How dare you, me, any self-proclaimed Christian do anything less than fighting evil? Christians must believe Christ when He also says sell your cloak and buy a sword. Two will do. (Saint Luke 22:36, read for context. Cloaks are for hiding.) And also in the Holy Spirit and context, if you don't want to swing an actual sword or use a weapon like ancient Israel or Apostles, or anyone else, remember that part of the armor of God includes a sword you shall not refuse to use, in Ephesians 6:10-20...

17 ..."And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak."

Christians will obey Christ and CAST OUT DEVILS with the Word or His Sword. And, yes, hopefully the bad guys will repent like Saul of Tarsus, and not perish on Earth and Hell.

God is not the author of confusion, so fight.

Anyway back to topic, perhaps you have some video clips of Charlie kirk showing his better side as most of what i've seen up to now hasn't shown him in a very good light . Thanks
Sit through an. entire. presentation., either his event or an interview, but see the whole thing and take notes on where Kirk is wrong. That will be better than bearing false witness. I say that because I also had avoided Kirk for wearing the pope's little hat Lol.️ But murder is murder.

I dont throw any stones. But I do have the choice to make my voice heard about truths, to include seeking a more moral society to live in for both myself and everyone else. You can choose to ignore evil and live in sodom and gamorah and just try and avoid the evil, but it will affect you and those you might love, to corrupt you more just like it did with the family of Lot.

Hey don't mean to butt in but it is written

Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.”

Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?”

learn to do well. Seek judgment, relieve the oppressed; judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.

"Depart from evil, and do good..

It's written we will know His children by their fruits..

To not judge or discern what one is truly dealing with to turn a blind eye and to keep a closed mouth not speaking Truth is not of the Lord frfr

I apologize for buttin in but I don't understand the don't judge crowd like why would one just read part of a verse n run with it..

We r told to be as gentle as doves and wise as a serpent..

Idk I just don't get that whole act like your blind and deaf while I go stealing and if ya call me a thief your Unchrist like lol never made any sense to me but it does give me a chuckle still

Hope all's well

1. The context of 'judge not' in Matt 7 is 'punish not'. Note how His words stopped stones, not thoughts. Christians are to judge all things 1 Cor 2:15.

2. I agree with you on the death penalty. I believe that all living still have hope to repent and make right with God. But, at the same time it could be considered a good thing to make an example of a few by executing them. Take the rapes of girls in the UK by immigrants. A few executions will fix that problem.

3. Charlie Kirk, can't find good footage? I have watched a lot of his videos, they are all good. Not a single one is bad. I think you are just watching short clips and not full length videos.

Many thanks for that reply Gothedral, i dont want the thread to veer too far off topic, but would just comment that Christ did say, "Do not resist Evil and if struck on one cheek offer the other.... Love your enemies, do good to those that despise you and pray for those that spitefully use you",... he also said that "he that lives by the sword shall die by the sword", and that its not up to us to judge but that judgement will be meted out by God, to whom all is known, for we are sinners and corrupted by our own prejudices and lack of understanding, who are we to judge others, especially when it comes to condemning them to death with no chance of repentance .

I do fight against the Evils of this world, the injustice, the suffering, the cruelty and destruction, but am only too aware of my own sins, of my own involvement in what makes it the man made Hell that it is, i understand that i am confronted by Christ in the person of the poor, the marginalised, the oppressed but too often turn away and pray for the forgiveness i am in deep need of. Thanks for your thoughts, much appreciated.
