Does a person need to confess their sin, so that the blood of Jesus is shed for them again and again, every time they sin, again?

A.) No.

This particular theology that you probably have been taught, by a unsaved Legalist, is based on them misapplying 1st John as this idea..

"as long as i confess my sin, i keep myself saved, but if i dont, then im not saved anymore".

See that?
That is how a person takes a verse, twists it, and it become their false savior.
As now that verse to this person, is their "as long as i do that, i keep myself saved".
Yet, its Christ alone, who keeps us saved.
No confession necessary, only His shed blood and death on the Cross is necessary to save us, and He has finished our SALVATION already.....and said so from the Cross.. when God said...>"It is FINISHED".

"confessing sin", usually means that you are trying to get God to forgive your sin, ......which God as Christ has died to forgive , already.

Christ has died ONCE for ALL sin,,, 1st Peter says... not just for some sin.
See, if all your sin was not taken care of by God on the Cross, then you are not saved.

Listen, God created salvation so that its an eternal forgiveness....completed by God Himself, as Christ on the Cross.

So, this deceivers theology of "confessing sin to stay saved" is a result of not really understanding the Cross or the Blood of Jesus, as God has provided it as a finished Salvation.

Born again Saint.....Salvation is FINISHED......Its not kept by us, its kept by God who GIVES IT TO YOU as "the Gift of Salvation".. Never based on if we are good enough or confess all the sins we remember, as you can't confess those you forgot.
Going to Heaven, is based on What Jesus did to get you there, and never is it based on your lifestyle, or confessing, or works.

So, when a Believer begins to understand that God, Himself, came here to die on The Cross, to free us from our unrighteousness by giving us His, then once we see this as our REDEMPTION and SALVATION, we then truly understand who we have become as "the righteousness of God in Christ".
And God already sees us as this "made righteous", whose SIN.. Jesus became. Which is why Romans 4:8 says that God does not charge sin to the born again.
How can He , when God has already paid for them all, for you.
God can't die for you sin 2000 yrs ago, then charge you for them, also, tomorrow.
So, if a person is born again.. then "Jesus became sin" for them, and died for it all...

The Spiritual LIGHT bulb comes on in your spirit when you realize..>"im confessing sin, that God has already forgiven 2000 yrs ago on the Cross".
Saint...born again.....When you get there, in your inner spiritual understanding, then you'll understand why God's redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb SHOUT and say....THANK YOU JESUS !!!!!!!, AND THEY DONT CArE WHAT OTHER PEOPLE THINK !!!

If you want to confess you sin, because this makes you feel better, as that it all it does, then good.
But its better to see yourself as God sees you..and exit in this RENEWED MIND, as when you do thAT , you will find that your confessing becomes what it is......just your way of feeling better... as the sin is already forgiven by God 2000 yrs ago on the Cross, through the blood of Jesus.

Are you born again?
Not just water baptized....but born again?
If so, then God does not see your sin. Its ALL paid for by God's own Blood and Death, on the Cross... 2000 yrs ago.
God only sees you as "the righteousness of God, in Christ"......"One with God".... if you are born again.
NOW.....You have to begin to only see yourself, as the same as God sees you at all times.
This is "walking in the Spirit", "in the mind of Christ".

Born again believers confess their sin(s) "not" to stay saved but to not give the devil any place in their lives.

That may well be a result of becoming born "again" but that is not how a person becomes born "again."
The scriptures are clear on the commandments of Jesus as to what is necessary to enter the kingdom of God as a disciple.
This is upheld and explained through examples in Acts.

So exactly how is one "born again" ??

Inside you, is the real you.
Your body is not the real you... Your body is the container, that the real you......your SPIRIT......lives inside.
This Spirit, is eternal, and your body will die and be buried or cremated. Have you decided on which, Waggles?
Be thinking about what you want your people to do with your body, after you leave it.
ANd after you leave it, you will leave it having had your spirit born again, by God, or NOT.

You've read......>"new creation". "in Christ". Right?
That is not your body or your mind. THat is your SPIRIT, that has been joined to God's Spirit........becoming "ONE WITH GOD"...."in Christ".
See that?
That is to be "born again".
Jesus told you........"you must be born again"..........and if you are, you go to heaven.
If you are never, ... if you are just water baptized, but never SPIRITUALLY BORN AGAIN, then you will die, water baptized, and go straight to HELL.

Jesus said...>"you must be born AGAIN"......and that not by water, but by my SPIRIT, saith God".
HE's not kidding.

BORN AGAIN OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

John 3:3-6
3 Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
4 Nicodemus said to Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?"
5 Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
6 "That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Mark 2:22
22 "And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine bursts the wineskins, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins."
Eph 4:17-32
17 This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind,
18 having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardening of their heart;
19 who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
20 But you have not so learned Christ,
21 if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus:
22 that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts,
23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind,
24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.
25 Therefore, putting away lying, "Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor," for we are members of one another.
26 "Be angry, and do not sin": do not let the sun go down on your wrath,
27 nor give place to the devil.
28 Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need.
29 Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.
30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice.
32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ forgave you.
[1Pe 5:10–11
[10] But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle [you].
[11] To Him [be] the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
[2Co 5:17–20
[17] Therefore, if anyone [is] in Christ, [he is] a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
[18] Now all things [are] of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,
[19] that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
[20] Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore [you] on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God.

xxx Born again of the Holy Spirit is all about finding and walking after the Holy Spirit. And He only quotes verses from the new testament. One spends three years in the milk understanding looking for the Holy Spirit. When one finds the Holy Spirit they follow Him in crucifying all their emotions and purging their carnality. And stand on the verses the Holy Spirit gives them.for eleven more years. Then one is born again and Jesus starts giving them the revelations of Jesus Christ.

No,

as you can find out all about the experience by reading how i describe what it means.

Also, "walking after it" ........as you posted, makes no sense.
You are trying to "sound spiritual", and you post too many verses, so that you appear to be an authority.
just stop playing that game.
Ok?

Listen..
Being born again, is not finding out about it., and its not.."walking after it" as if you are walking your dog, on His leash.

Being Born again.......is when GOD's HolySpirit gives spiritual "new birth" to the spirit in a person BECAUSE they have done the "will of God".

The will of God is that "you believe on Jesus, whom God sent".

And what are the commandments of God given in scripture as to how a person can be born from above??

Jesus said.....>"you must be born again".

Jesus teaches........there is the 1st birth, where you as a baby, are born of water......... your mother's water breaks, and you come out of her womb. This is "born of water" the 1st Birth.

Jesus then says...."you must be ....BORN.......again".......as your 1st birth is for the earth.........your 2nd, which is to be BORN AGAIN.........born a 2nd time......is a Spiritual birth, that birth's you into God's heavenly family........as "ONE with God".....>"In Christ".

If you do not have this 2nd Birth......that is created by God's Holy Spirit, then you will die, and Jesus says of these......>"depart from me......I never Knew YOU".

This means you will go to Hell.

You keep on posting a great deal of waffle and never the specifics of scripture.
As for the notion that being born of water refers to natural birth that is absurd.
Water baptism is referred to in the NT multiple times and it is clear that believers were baptized in water.

Of course He said this to those who were showing the gifts on the Spirit in Matt 7:21-22; He never knew them because they were continuing in sin.

Its not "absurd" to Jesus who taught it.
Its just "absurd" to people who belong to a "water cult".

And yet Jesus .. (and all His disciples ) were baptized in water, and baptized other people in water as well.

Mark 16:16; "He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned.

Jesus was speaking in that verse.

1Pet 3:21; Corresponding to that, baptism now saves you—not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience—through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

Rom 6:3; Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death?

Did water baptism die on the Cross for you?
If it did, then keep preaching the gospel of water.
If it didn't, then realize what you are doing wrong, and stop going to this CULT that taught you their lie.
Leave it. !

You are preaching another gospel.
You are denying all the scriptures that preach water baptism by full immersion.

Acts 22:14 And he said, The God of our fathers hath appointed thee to know his will, and to see the Righteous One, and to hear a voice from his mouth.
15 Because thou shalt be a witness for him unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard.
16 And what shall thou do now? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on his name.

Acts 22: calling on his name.

Its the "calling on the name of the Lord" that is Paul's salvation, as he has to believe in Jesus , to call on that name.

So, its this verse.....

"all that call on the name of Jesus shall be saved"

And now read this one.........Paul teaching.....>"Christ sent me not to water baptize, but to preach the GospeL".

That the same Paul that is in your verse...

So, you can figure out, why.....if water is required for salvation.....why is the dying Thief on the Cross, in Heaven, as he was never water baptized...

also, why would Paul state that he was not sent to water baptize, if water is a part of salvation?

A.) Its not.

Water baptism is preached and demonstrated throughout the NT by water cult believers obedient to the commandments of God unto salvation.

IN the Acts of the Apostles, you have many water baptisms.

Every one..........in every case........the person BELIEVES first.......>"believe in Jesus and you shall be saved"..........they all do this first, and then they go to the water.

Look at Acts 8.

Phillip tells the Eunuch......"yes you may be water baptized, if you have believed with all your heart, first"..

see that?

BELIEVE= FIRST.......because "faith is counted as righteousness"........."justification by faith".....>"Abraham is the Father of all those who BELIEVE".

"the will of God is that you BELIEVE on Jesus, whom God sent"...

Water baptism follows Salvation......it does not cause it., as how can water do anything.. its just water.

Water baptism has great spiritual significance to the process of being converted and entering the church of God.
A believer must be baptized in water and also baptized in the Holy Spirit - that is the gospel of the NT.
