We must remember the Scripture , " a true Jew is not one who looks like a Jew , and the Circumcision is not just a physical thing . " " a true Jew is one whose Heart is circumcised " what this is telling me , is that a real Jew isnt neccesarily born as an Israelite. A true Jew in God's eyes is one who Loves God with all thier heart . And that could be any of us .

So when i read scripture in reguards to the 144k Jews , ( knowing how hard it is to understand Revelations ) i am thinking 144 k people in love with God

The new earth, will be full of those who love God, who worship the Lord in the beauty of his Holiness.

That passage of scripture that I quoted wasn't talking about the new Earth. It was Paul explaining what it means to be a true Jew

It's Paul talking about us that we are the true Jews we are the ones whose hearts are circumsized in the Lord and it's because of that that we become a Jew spiritually

In this particular passage, they seem to be biological Jews. 'sons of Israel'. (as opposed to 'sons of God' ) The 12 tribes are specifically named. (Two of the tribes are switched from the original list)

Rev 7:4; And I heard the number of those who were sealed, one hundred and forty-four thousand sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel:
Rev 7:5; from the tribe of Judah, twelve thousand were sealed, from the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand, from the tribe of Gad twelve thousand,
Rev 7:6; from the tribe of Asher twelve thousand, from the tribe of Naphtali twelve thousand, from the tribe of Manasseh twelve thousand,
Rev 7:7; from the tribe of Simeon twelve thousand, from the tribe of Levi twelve thousand, from the tribe of Issachar twelve thousand,
Rev 7:8; from the tribe of Zebulun twelve thousand, from the tribe of Joseph twelve thousand, from the tribe of Benjamin, twelve thousand were sealed.

But certainly, it's not only 144,000 that will be in heaven. The very next verse says people from every tribe, nation, and tongue, if everyone was a Jew, there wouldn't be any other tribes or nations.

Rev 7:9; After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could count, from every nation and all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palm branches were in their hands;

People can count to 144,000. The great multitude that no one can count is a much larger number.

I can't say I've been baptised in the Spirit but I have been so filled that I've had to ask the Lord to let up. This happened when I was reading the Word in fellowship. I was so filled I couldn't get the words out. That has happened to me on several occasions. Other times I have been moved in the Spirit when witnessing the gospel to people and have felt confident because of God's presence to tell them that God was aware of them and our conversation had God's approval. I live for those times.

Sounds like a good indication of spiritual baptism to me. Your an honest to goodness believer, that's the best sign!

I was replying to Born Again 2004 Bill, a poster on this site. I said, " there are Jews, 'Born Again', I was speaking to Born Again 2004, hence the capital letters in the name. I can understand how it could be misconstrued, sorry about that.

I agree. But if there is an order. Which happens first?

It isn't a matter of what's first. That would be like saying that a person that has really crazy spiritual gifts is greater than the person that just has a gift of healing. This type of thinking only comes from the Devil.

When a person is born in the spirit the person's life changes. Things are seen with much more compassion and love from the heart.

As an example we take a look at the thief on the cross who is with Jesus

Now I've said it quite often that all of the scripture has to agree with itself and this is a good example of that because as scripture says you have to be born of water and the spirit enter Heaven.

We don't know the history of the thief but you can clearly see the compassion he has for Jesus on the cross. And it is that compassion that is a sure sign of being born in the spirit.

In another place in Scripture Jesus talks about what is important on the Sabbath day. He talks about not the letter of the law but the spirit of the law and how we should observe it.

As an example Jesus talks about if a lamb is caught in the thorns how you would go out and rescue the lamb on the Sabbath.

You see if people understood what the true letter of the law was about in the first place they would understand that it's about love
