Baptism in the Holy Spirit : revisited

It is because they do not understand my friend, they have not been taught, in all things Jews First. They have not been taught about Israel, they have not been taught that we are grafted into the original vine, which comes from the original root stock, the lump. They have been taught that the Jews killed Jesus, the RCC was notorious for this, but I must say not just the RCC. Christianity has been taught as being a different religion, it is so sad, so sad.
It could be also that the fullness of the understanding has not been open to them. It's the same thing true with many of us many of us who think we might eat meat but we're only eating vegetables or fruit. I've seen it before when talking to someone and they are so abdomen about where they stand in their thinking and I know that they're wrong but I can't seem to explain it to them. So where they are at at that moment is where they are in their limited understanding of things but I don't begrudge that person for that person's faith I just pray that the Lord opens their mind to more

Christian's not accepting Israel, is something I don't understand, ..Non-Cristians maybe but true Christian's, I don't get it..God calls for accepting Israel and issued warnings for those who don't!!
I have encountered preachers that have been preaching a long time in a large Church that really believe that Israel is not part of it that is not accepted by God. And even though I can quote all the scripture all day long to prove it to them that they are that preacher was still believe what he believes feeling that he knows it all.

I will take the conversation to a certain point but when I find a person that is very strong and their opinion to that degree I will just back off because I know it's kind of like arguing with a person who is drunk that there is there's nothing you can say that's going to change their mind

Do we believe in co-incidence? No. But we do believe in God-incidence. Yes.

I have been meaning to add a post about something for a while, it remained on my heart to do so, then I read this thread, it hits the top note for me, I feel it right to add it here.

My post was to be on the following lines...

Going about our daily life we chat to a colleague, one day we feel led to share a little about Jesus, the person doesn't want to know so we back off at that point. Another time we feeling it is right we share a little more, again our friends barriers go up. Each time we pray before and after talking with our friend, every time we feel led to share the Good News. Then one day we feel led and talk a little more, this time our friend is all ears, he/she realises they need forgiveness of their sins, he/she realises they will not go to heaven unless they are forgiven and ask Jesus into their heart. So we come together and pray out loud, with our lips, the prayer of faith, in Jesus Name. We come away rejoicing with the angels in heaven for another soul that is saved.

But is our friends soul saved?
I know that you know this, God sends some people to lay out the seed, others he sends out to cultivate that's e, and others yet are there to harvest what fruits there are. But it's always in God and we who plant the seed and do the cultivating may never know the outcome of that seed but we have faith and we trust in the Lord and we let the Lord do the work whether that friend is saved or not we hoping that moment we pray for that moment but it's in the Lord that happens it's may not be for us to ever know

What we do we do it in faith and it's in faith that we recognize that God does his thing that God does the work we should not be looking for confirmations on everything the confirmations are in faith that's what faith is all about in the first place

I guess they don't read the Bible either!

There are many church goers as we know brother, but mention Bible study and they always to busy, always have something planned or to do they cannot leave,

Jesus says, Abide in me and I will abide in you, that is 24/7/365 not an hour or so on a Sunday morning.

They have eyes, they have ears, but they do not see or hear, but we cannot just blame the congregation on Sunday morning, if the preacher does preach these things they will not hear them, if the preacher doesn't expound The Word, they will not know, if the teacher doesn't know these things how can those he preaches to know.

We need to know The Word to stand up against the devil, they say the Lord's Prayer each week but don't realise what they are actually saying, they are saying from the lips, but does it come from the heart?

Although it is sad, very sad, we can do little but pray for the ekklesia worldwide, that the Lord will build up His children to reach out to the lost souls. We pray for the church goers [kuriakon goers] who know not the Lord Jesus Christ or the way to salvation.

Lord hear our prayers:
May your light shine in the hearts of the lost souls, especially those who are not saved but are church goers.
May your Word shout clearly in their ears and their hearts start to search for you Lord. We know you love a searching heart Lord, if the heart is not search they are spiritually dead!
May the saved everywhere preach the 'Good News', in Jesus Name
and May God receive the Glory in your name Lord. Amen

This is so true brother,

I believe He does this so not one person can take credit, yet they do.

We plough the fields and scatter the good seed on the ground, and it was fed and watered by God's Almighty hand.

We are all instruments of His Grace, His Peace, His Love, His Spirit guides us in The Word.

Matthew 28:19-20 (NKJV)
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.

Make disciples of ALL nations, not one soul, share The Word, share the Good News, pray, believe, have faith, next...

There are many Jews, Born again, that hate Jesus, mainly because they have been taught by the Rabbis who have been taught by other Rabbis and so it goes on, that Jesus was guilty of blasphemy. many Christians take umbridge that many Jews reject Jesus and so see Christians in a wrong light. Satan, I'm sure, goes out of his way to encourage this antagonism, but it is starting to change as many Israelis are now coming to see Jesus for who he is, and many Christians are realising that they are in grafted into the root. Praise God Amen.

If God only wanted one language or 1 understanding or one way of thinking we would only be robots. But I truly believe just like there are many instruments in an orchestra I truly believe that there are many reasons for all these different churches that each church has something to glean , something to share or give. They are all part of the whole. Body of Christ
With all Bibles..all dialects things vary a little but the basic Gospel stays the same.
..there is one God, one Jesus and one Holy Spirit, all working in harmony to offer Man eternal life.

It all comes down to believers and Nonbelievers, a goat or a sheep...you are one or the other weather you are Gentile, Jew or what ever human you call yourself!

Greetings brother

I am with you on almost everything you say brother, when we talk of Jews beliefs the wheel comes to mind, as you state, from Rabbi to Rabbi, it's our religion, it's our heritage, we must retain it.

I agree there are many Jews turning to Christ but see these as the Messianic Jews, they found and accepted Yeshua, their promised saviour.

But I do wonder how other Jews can be born-again if they do not accept Jesus?

Look at Jesus conversation with Nicodemus, who was a teacher of all Israel, he should not be surprised said Jesus

John 3:3, 5, 7 (NIV2011)
3 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”
5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.
7 You should not be surprised at my saying,You must be born again.’

Shalom

Matthew 7: 21-27
BEILIEVE OR NOT BELIEVE , that is the question!

Greetings my friend here is the answer

John 3:16-21 (NIV2011)
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.
20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed.
21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.

Shalom

I don't believe they are Paul, but they are different to us in as much as they are under a promise made to Abraham, hence the miraculous victories that Israel has won over unbelievable odds, in the various wars that they have had since their inception. It is also notable that the amount of messianic Jews are increasing prolifically and making their presence felt. this is causing Israel to reassess their understanding of the one they crucified. It is interesting times among God's chosen.

Hi Trevor,

To God be the Glory brother.

I did wonder if the 144000 may come out of the Messianic Jews.

It is wonderful to see them growing in numbers, and as you say it is making the other Jews think, is there something in this, there certainly is it is Yeshua ha Messiah, the promised one.

God's will, will always be fulfilled.

We must remember the Scripture , " a true Jew is not one who looks like a Jew , and the Circumcision is not just a physical thing . " " a true Jew is one whose Heart is circumcised " what this is telling me , is that a real Jew isnt neccesarily born as an Israelite. A true Jew in God's eyes is one who Loves God with all thier heart . And that could be any of us .

So when i read scripture in reguards to the 144k Jews , ( knowing how hard it is to understand Revelations ) i am thinking 144 k people in love with God

You can not be born again and hate . They are opposites

Hi Bill, Born Again was the person I was answering, I wasn't saying that the Jews that hated were born again. It would be more advantageous if the posters were to post under their names, but heyho.
