They are not wicked people but brothers & sisters with different opinions.
As Paul & James had their differences of opinions.[/QUOTE]
Yes, Paul did the unthinkable and received the wrong teachings from the religious people of his time. He listened to man instead of God, which could included people like you and I too. Paul persecuted the Christians, but God forgave him and he used him as a vessel to spread the Word.
We shouldn't be pushing them away but excepting them as brothers & sisters.
When Jesus was being crucified, he was with some other male-factors, who committed a crime, we don't know what that crime was, as the Bible does not say so. One of those men, repented and asked Jesus for forgiveness. He forgave him immediately, Jesus didn't ask him what he did wrong first, and he just forgave him. God works through us now, just as he worked through Jesus. There are many answers we don't know the real answers too yet, but when Jesus comes back, he will give us all those answers, to all these difficult questions.
I personally think we are going to be in for shock.
I have gone through endless studies about the churches and religion, to see why there is so much division amongst Christianity out there, as most are claiming they are in "spirit and truth". And the only solution, I can come up with, we are not listening to the "Holy Ghost", and are listening to our own self spirit. "Carnel mind" If we were listening to Holy Ghost, we would
all be one with our Father in Heaven
Act 7:51 Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.
Except you give me the opinion that you just want to put the JW's down.
But who out there do we trust, that's a difficult one, as we all love the creator, as I see the passion for Him, in their eyes and words. We want to seek to know Him better and get closer to the Him, but what has man done, created huge conflicts and divisions.
One just needs to seek to have that spiritual relationship, with Him, through Christ and God will do the rest. He will change us and circumcise our hearts to His ways and thinking. His ways are not our ways.
Also take note and remember these scriptures, especially the ones I have bolded.
Rom 3:9 What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
Rom 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: Rom 3:11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
Rom 3:12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
Rom 3:13 Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:
Rom 3:14 Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:
Rom 3:15 Their feet are swift to shed blood:
These people and many others from various other types of religion, these people are human beings just like you and I, and
God loves them.
There are many people out there, which are lost, more then you might think. The gate is narrow and only a few will find it.
Mat 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Man puts rules, rituals and tradtions of man into place within these man made church environments, most don't seek to find out, if it's the truth, or to even find our if it's even scriptural. People just go ahead and follow it, because that man up there says so.
If you are following Christ, you are going to be in the minority and it's that simple. And you are going to stand out and be different from most people, which are around you. The world is not going to like you.
Please take some time and meditate on these scriptures for a few days.
Joh 17:14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
Joh 17:15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
Joh 17:16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
Joh 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
Also speak to God about them and not man, He will reveal the truth.
to you.
Meditate on this one too.
1Jn 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
I am more worried about this prosperity gospel, which is out there at the moment. People are being blinded by this too
There are many false teachers out there, but it's only God's Word that will eventually lead people from darkness.
I love my bible and I love studying it. The more I read it, the more I am renewed according to God's ways. His ways are not my ways, and what might seem right to me, might just be totally wrong to Him.
If God wants to use us, it will be in the most unusual way. And it won't be according to man's religion either.
These scriptures is so true.
Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Mar 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
Nothing must come before God, nothing. This could mean, that you might have to walk away from our own family.
Jesus even told us, this might happen, and this is a tuff one.
Mar 3:33 And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother, or my brethren?
Mar 3:34 And he looked round about on them which sat about him, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
Mar 3:35 For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.
Now this is something to think about.
2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2Th 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
What is that strong delusion?
