What is God impressed with? Wanted to ask the video this. lol

This person is making assumptions that are probably correct in many ways sister but has very little to do with the why of going to church in the first place and also makes me wonder why that is not covered or explained in this video.

Outside of attending a church to....should I list them...with others, there is very little one can do for each other. Might as well as listen to AI give a sermon, and attend the online religious sermons which some people do. Isolating oneself away from others, instead of attending in person in some antiquated building, needing your resources to keep going from one day to the next.

Times have changed, because if not for the very churches being stated in this video as being unnecessary, you won't have the technology that uses the very sermons that were spoken out loud in times past that all they were voiced in, were just someone's house, or an unused building as well as cathedrals too.

It's not the attendance, though it does help for consistency sake but rather the assembling of believers together that matters. Not necessarily to God though through Paul who stated we should not neglect doing so, but to each believer. It's about lifting each other up, and all else that goes with being the Body of Christ. We were not meant to stand alone, though nothing precludes us from doing so because of the Holy Spirit in us, but it truly is of necessity and the reason why we are called the Body of Christ, the Temple of the Most High, and why where two or more are gathered in His Name...

Thanks for sharing the video sister, but the title of it is wrong on many levels. Consider those in countries where it would cost them their lives to even admit being a follower of Jesus, much less assemble together in His name, to learn, worship, praise Him? They attend churches, but probably more in line that I mentioned earlier, and as the first churches were. Still, this video even in title presumes if you go to church, you can't be a believer because the chosen don't attend them. A thought they should remember is the parable of the "wheat and the tares".

If you can find one that fulfills or at least comes close to walking in His ways, then keep praying and looking because they are out there. Don't just give up, and think they're all the same...

If you believe that in hearing the word of Jesus, and believing in Jesus. That you will never die.

I have to believe for someone that accepted the word of an Angel, that received Jesus in her womb. That raised Jesus was there for most of his ministry, was there at the foot of the cross experienced Jesus after his resurrection. Is someone who really believes that Jesus is Lord and savior.

So there should be no doubt in our minds that Mary is in heaven.

This being said, the question I have for you is. Is Mary alive?

Remember being a Christian means that if you die in Christ, you are alive in Jesus.

NO follower of YAW, Jesus, the great, I AM, GOD al mighty, prays to anyone other than GOD, Jesus is my king my lord and to him alone I trust I pray, I hope.

only a deceived person would pray to anyone other then God. only a decieved person would think anyone but God hears there prayers.

is Mary in heaven I would think so, why ask me such question, just dont pray to her, and do not call her the queen of heaven, do not call her mother of GOd, and do not give her the glory due to God, and no she is NOT our mediator between the us and the father Jesus is.

Don't you know, I can remember when you first joined!

What's offensive to me is professing believers, and I say professing because I don't know if they are or not; putting the good fruit in with the bad without differentiating and not actually knowing how there can be a difference. Our Lord knew, and so did the believers, who by the way were Pharisees...though I'm not so sure about any Sadducees!

Thankfully our God doesn't paint with a wide brush when it comes to judgment day, but each will stand on their own, with Jesus or without for all they have done in word and deed. That should have everyone trembling awaiting that day which will come for all of us.

My dad was of the same mind as you about being around the hypocrites in church. He wanted to smack them around a bit, because he knew the life they were leading was full of lies, and what they did in church didn’t reflect who they really were.

I've always been of the mind, that without Godly people being around them, and telling them, showing them the truth of God's word, how will they know, or be convicted of the sin in their lives. Hopefully by the Holy Spirit they will be led to change, and if they don't know Him, then draw them to Him as Lord and Savior! As some say, church isn’t for the healthy, but for the sick who need healing in more ways than one, even in ways they may not realize they need!

Seen it more than once, and they're no longer there, and are out in the world living the lives of sin, that they always wanted to, but without the conviction that they found in church! Then it does depend on the church, and more importantly the congregation in that assembly. That is another reason discernment is important, even in a church building amongst other believers. Many forget why they're there, and don't realize if you don't bring Jesus with you into the assembly, then you've probably never had Him to begin with. So, stop play acting, and start listening to the Word of God being preached, and talk to one of those around you that do know and have Him who will gladly help you too as well! It's having one of those come to Jesus moments, that everyone needs.

Always depends on whether the church one is going to actually believes in Him and stands on God's Word. Sadly, it can be fine with one pastor, and when another pastor takes over, it can change overnight, and not necessarily for the better either! That's why every believer needs to keep testing what they see, hear, like the Bereans did with Paul!

Ya i have come to learn that church is not about a certain day hour place but about it is about the people they you are gathering with so so many "Shepard,leaders,pastors,priest," what eva title they decide on claiming dont even know what their job is seems most think its about numbers and cash.. they seem to have forgotten it is their job to make sure those they entrusted with are ok to go visit them if they sick help them if they fall on hard times they are to protect them to love them like they would their own flesh.dang bruh i haven't seen a true one like that in many many yrs.. Lord says we will know them by their fruits..idk ive just seen so many go through poor hoods collect what they can do as lil as possible ignore them babies on the streets close doors n move to their next spot.. idk..i just dont understand..how so many just watched instead of helping them babies i mean thats what we are called to do.. they was right there watching bruh n had the audacity to say they collecting cash to help their missionaries go to other countries to help them smh..i get others need help but Lord says those who don't help their own are worse then infidels..how can one claim to love what they cant see yet not have love for what they can see..i heard so many times you need to come back to church to God i just say I didn't leave God fact is Leaving has brought me much closer to God because the people in them "churches" crushed my heart n my spirit..idk but i do know that I am His witness n my joy has been fulfilled for i hear Him ya know?..

Dear Sister,
Your spirit is in the Lord! Others cannot crush it, unless you let them. Oh, you can shake your head on what they do, but they will have their comeuppance. That you see the darkness of sin, in the lives of even believers is nothing new and should rend the heart of every believer, but should also set you to showering the Love of Christ to them. Yes, even hypocrite, lie, thief, because what awaits them is not what God has ever wanted for them, nor should it be what we want for them. No matter how well deserved, because but for the grace of God, it could have been us there, in some cases was us at one time in our loves.

Yes, even in the churches. The ones who are truly seeking Him, and want to know Him better, will gravitate to you. Because the love and care you show to others are a beacon of light in the darkness that is there. Oh, you'll also attract the looks, stares, but that is to be expected, and I pay them no mind. Why be surprised that you find them there, when even the devil can be found there? You keep speaking the truth...with temperance of course yet by not only your words, but acts of kindness you'd be surprised how much it helps those who are seekers of truth. The Holy Spirit will also send his to you. While others are in praise/worship in my church, I'm sitting in the sitting area in the foyer, normally with 3 or more who God has sent to me, and we talk the Word of God, and how He makes himself present in their lives. Even, or should I say especially in the hard times, but also in the good.

Remember it's not about the numbers, which many churches think they derive their existence from, but each soul that enters your space. I've come to find out that in this church building, I will touch others in different walks of life, cultures, races, with the love of the Lord, that I never would have been able to do otherwise. I just don't live/walk where they do. Some are professionals, cops, doctors, homeless, single, married, widowed, old, young, blind, and it goes on and on. Talk, pray, and then go in to hear the sermon!

People wonder why I don't go in for the praise and worship portion of service. Well, the lights bother my eyes mostly. Loudness of the music doesn't since I'm half deaf and only have to turn down my hearing aids. lol Still, sometimes I do, as the Spirit moves me to. That is the interesting part about it all in that little foyer area. The talks I have with people, will at times be the very thing the sermon is about. Occasionally someone who I talked with, will look for me with a light in their eyes, and amazement on their faces. Saying "what we talked about was in the sermon today!" I tell them, it's all from the Holy Spirit, and why studying the Word of God (food), will touch you in every facet of your life, if you will let Him. Just don't let the World or what some would say is "life" get in the way of being about His business. They say but it's "life", but I tell them, "Life is good, but Eternal life is better." Comes from a lyric I heard years ago, from a Christian song, but it's true! lol

Anyway, I know you don't let them get you down, but don't let any of them affect you in such a way that sends the timid seekers running, because they need the Lord too, and will find their strength and boldness in Him, just as you have.

Ya here lays the problem with me..im not timid i am unable to keep my mouth shut while that wanna be preacher or what eva he may wanna be lies and steals from the people..Lord send me to places to see to witness what they are doing n if one ask i tell..ya know i had a wife of a preacher approach me at one time n asked if i was a Christian i said naw im just a simple follower n witness to the Lord man should of seen her face she stared ay me n then said ya my husband use to call himself that until he meant me..all them people talking language of demons with that tongue clacking claiming it was the Holy Spirit..
I can tell ya of much evil that goes on in them Synagogues of satan called church they are way more in numbers then the True church of Abba..

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

If i wanna go hang with the world id go to a concert or something Lord tells us His ways it is man that dont wanna follow Him they rather follow traditions..
