SignUp Now!That is the problem - way too many people have been convinced that the false doctrine of OSAS is true.Cheers
So it looks like nobody here believes once saved always saved.
If a person has eternal life when they become a believer, why do Christians die? This is an important discussion.
When you become a born again believer, you must always have eternal Iife.
If you lose that then can you say why ?
I don't agree but look forward to all the answers.
Yep, you guessed it. The only reason born-again believers are still alive in their physical bodies (which have died) is that the Spirit of God is giving their bodies life. Are you saying Paul is writing to dead people?
Well, he's the one that wrote it.Are you saying Paul is writing to dead people?
How exactly do dead people read? When their eyes have decayed how can they read? David, who was a prophet said the dead know nothing ans their thoughts have perished. How is it that these who know nothing and whose thoughts have perished can read Paul's letter? How could they understand without thoughts? Job said God's breath gives man understanding. That breath returns to God at death. So how could these dead understand Paul's letter without understanding?Yep, you guessed it. Rom 8:11 The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.
That might be a good question to ask Paul, or better yet the Holy Spirit who told Paul what to write. How exactly do dead people read? When their eyes have decayed how can they read? Paul is speaking about those born again. They have to confess their sins to Jesus and repent of them, and crucify themselves to sin with Jesus, they are to die to the sins of the world, and then live their new born again life pleasing Jesus by obeying him.How exactly do dead people read? But the reply was yours. Paul didn't say he was writing to dead people, you did. So Paul wouldn't know why you think he was writing to dead people. You're the only who can answer that. That might be a good question to ask Paul, or better yet the Holy Spirit who told Paul what to write.
Jesus warns us for a reason. Why do you think he is warning us if we can't lose our salvation? This is an important discussion.

So death is just a metaphor then, correct? They're not really dead, correct?Paul is speaking about those born again. They have to confess their sins to Jesus and repent of them, and crucify themselves to sin with Jesus, they are to die to the sins of the world, and then live their new born again life pleasing Jesus by obeying him.
Well, you don't say it's a metaphor, you say it is spiritual. So death is just a metaphor then, correct? They're not really dead, correct?
I don't. I say it's a metaphor. Spiritual has to do with breath, not languageWell, you don't say it's a metaphor, you say it is spiritual.
We breath out carbon dioxide.I don't. I say it's a metaphor. Spiritual has to do with breath, not language
