John 3:36 defines every unbeliever, both alive, or dead.

People in general, and Christians, many of them, think that a person goes to hell for : "a lifetime of sinning".
Not at all.
See, you'll die "in your sins" if you die a Christ rejector, but that is not why God judges you, after you die.

The reality is, there is only one SIN that God will Judge you for, AFTER you die.
= The Unpardonable sin.
What is that?
Well, you can read Hebrews 10:26 and find a group of Hebrews committing it, as Paul is preaching Jesus to them.

They are committing the unpardonable sin.

= A.) Christ Rejection.

How does that work?

Reader....

Christ is the Pardon. Christ is the Redemption. Christ is the Grace of God. Christ is Salvation. Christ is the Blood Atonement. Christ is Eternal Life.
He is ALL THAT and MORE.

So, if you die rejecting Christ........ notice what you have rejected.

The eternal math works likes this.
If your Reject Pardon, you die un-pardoned.
CHRIST IS THE PARDON. He's God's Forgiveness.
So, if you die a Christ Rejector, = never born again.........
=> You have committed The Unpardonable sin of dying a Christ Rejector, and God will JUDGE YOU.

However, If you have trusted Christ and Christ is in you, and you are born again, "one with God", "the righteousness of God in Christ".....then God can't judge you in Eternity, as you have already solved that eternal judgment on Earth. = born again.
This is why you meet God as YOUR FATHER, and not as your Eternal Judge.

Many believers have the same idea about "why do you go to hell", that the typical unbeliever has, about it.

"They" think.....>"well, when i die, God is going to analyze all my good deeds,.... VS.... all my bad deeds....and if i have more good then bad, i get to STAY in Heaven.

Or, an unbeliever will say....."i know you.....I knew you before you "got religion".... and you were worse than me.....so, if God will let YOU in heaven, He'll let me in""".

See that carnal thinking?
That is found in many people who claim they are Christians.

Problem?
Yes.
The issue is..... Jesus said that the only way to be with the Father, is to go through Him.
So, what does that eliminate ? ????

= 1. Water Baptism
= 2. Self Effort
= 3. Mary
= 4. The Catholic Church
= 5. Enduring to the End
= 6. Commandment keeping
= 7. Worrying about the Law
= 8. Trying to imitate Christ
= 9. Transubstantiation

I do wish to point out that even though your second post refutes self effort for salvation, as if a sinner has to repent from all sins or sins before coming to & believing in Jesus Christ for salvation, I do wish to point out a difference in Bible versions. Your reference of John 3:36 when hovering the arrow from our mouse on it, will show a pop up with scripture from the NLT which will read as..

John 3:36 And anyone who believes in God’s Son has eternal life. Anyone who doesn’t obey the Son will never experience eternal life but remains under God’s angry judgment.” NLT

Now we have some members hyping on obeying God and refusing to believe that obeying is by believing God when the KJV testifies to this below while the NLT strengthens them in their misunderstanding of scripture in according to their errant belief that sinners has to do something first before believing in him to be saved when the only call to repent from is unbelief by believing in Him..

I recognize that only God can cause the increase, but it does show the trouble we have in having those in error see the truth in His words on what that obeying is and that is to believe Him & His words that by believing in Him is how we are saved. When modern bibles compliments false beliefs whereas the KJV has been proven to me by Him that it does not, is why I rely on the KJV for the meat of His words in discerning good & evil by His words.

Hebrews 5:11 Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.
12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

I find I can use any modern bibles to preach the gospel but when it comes to correcting false teachings, or false tongues, the KJV is the one I rely on thanks to Jesus Christ proving that to me. Only He can prove that to any one else. I can't.

Although saved believers may be foolish to finish by the flesh religiously like by commitments or/and promises, what He has begun, and even engage in works, religious or supernatural wise, that deny Him, thus being workers of iniquity, for the reason He will deny them in leaving them behind as reprobates ( disqualified ) from the Marriage Supper, He still abides because He is faithful as that foundation is assured as that seal of adoption is never going away for they are still His.

Thiis why we are called to depart from iniquity by His grace & by His help to avoid becoming a castaway and thus a vessel unto dishonor in His House, a vessel of wood & earth, which is not the same as a vessel unto honor, vessels of gold & silver, that are in His House as partakers of the first fruits of the resurrection for being ready as found abiding in Him & willing to go too as this life can offer many snares to tempt a believer to love this life more that they will not want to go..

That is why we call other saved believers and even former believers to depart from iniquity to obtain that eternal glory that comes with our salvation and that is to be that vessel unto honor in His House wearing that incorruptible crown that is really His crowning achievements in us as He finished His work in us to His glory, not ours.

We dont earn it, and we dont have to try to keep it.......as Salvation is All of God......Its His Salvation, that He GIVES, as "the GIFT of Salvation."
You dont earn a GIFT..... You RECEIVE a GIFT.
In these times we are in, that are so close to the RAPTURE, its very difficult to hear the Gospel on a Forum, as they are literally infected by "self savers"...."Legalists", and "water cults".

Which was done falsely. Paul was not teaching any one to live in sin but to recognize that God is pleased to save those that believe but now that we have been reconciled to God thru Jesus Christ, then comes discipleship where we learn of Him & His words in how we are to trust Him as our Good Shepherd to help us abide in Him & His words in following Him as His disciples so that the Son will set us free from sin and keep us from sin to live a fruitful life with Him.

Why? Because He was preaching GRACE without works..... and so they accused Him of ...what we know today as "OSAS" or "Eternal Security."

Yet Paul warned about what we build on that foundation which is OSAS because that foundation is assured and cannot be removed as this was laid by Jesus Christ but the works on it will be judged and if believers have not repented of iniquity or iniquities before the Bridegroom comes, whatever defiles that temple of God, it will be burned off of that foundation and the believer will experience physical death but the spirit is saved.

1 Corinthians 3:10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Those saints & former believers left behind as castaways is how and why there are vessels unto dishonor in His House that did not depart from iniquity.

So we run that race as saved believers as well as by faith by looking to Jesus Christ to help us lay aside every weight & sin daily for the high prize of our calling which is that incorruptible crown to wear as His crowning achievement in us as vessels unto honor in His House.

That is why He will finish His work even in those saints & former believers left behind for why there are vessels of wood & earth in His House to be resurrected after the great tribulation in serving the King of kings on earth.
