Why is God going to send a strong delusion in the end times?

This is why, feel free to "mock"

We speak wisdom, however, among them that are fullgrown: yet a wisdom not of this world, nor of the rulers of this world, who are coming to nought: but we speak God's wisdom in a mystery, even the wisdom that hath been hidden, which God foreordained before the worlds unto our glory: which none of the rulers of this world hath known: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory:

but as it is written, Things which eye saw not, and ear heard not, And which entered not into the heart of man, Whatsoever things God prepared for them that love him.

But unto us God revealed them through the Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For who among men knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of the man, which is in him? even so the things of God none knoweth, save the Spirit of God. But we received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is from God; that we might know the things that were freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Spirit teacheth; combining spiritual things with spiritual words .

Now the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God
: for they are foolishness unto him; and he cannot know them, because they are spiritually judged. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, and he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

Of course many like to Mock such beings, because, such Truth is nonsense and foolishness and cannot be "comprehended by the "finite mind" and the Natural Man Received not The Things of The Spirit of GOD. and does not have "The Ability" to know them. No matter how many A's he receives on his "Biblical Exams" and how many "Theological, or Divinity" Doctorates titles in any field of Religious Studies. Now is that not "Amazing' The gift is given to anyone whom "God the Father" "Elects". and Now, would you not say; we are so bless, to have a type of wisdom, that the world can never know.

Have a nice day!

Douay-Rheims Bible
Let no man deceive himself: if any man among you seem to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. :p
Where did you aquire your divinity? Just let me know why you're about to speak wisdom..I'll listen then. All you seem to be speaking now delirium

He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children. But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”
Dear Brother,
I'm curious about something, and hope you can assist in getting in straight in this thick head of mine, and hopefully any others that lack proper understanding.
At the end of what I quoted from your post, it says "This is the second death".
If as some have stated here on this thread, that there is no "physical death". Then what is being spoken of in what you have quoted as the second death, and what then is the first death?

Oh, as far as the comments from @Admon Mikha'el
It is best to ignore him, as I hope he reads this comment and understands that there is no need to make such comments as he has been making. Better to just ignore or at best test the answers with Scripture that one disagrees with, then to answer back in less than a loving way.

With the Love of Christ Jesus.

This is easy for you, others makes it complicated.
The Physical is what you can see. So GOD has declared the Physical will return to dust.

(2 Cor 5:).NIV. And when in doubt about a "Translation" go to "NASV" and let God reveal it in His own time.
1For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands. 2Meanwhile we groan, longing to be clothed instead with our heavenly dwelling, 3because when we are clothed, we will not be found naked. 4For while we are in this tent, we groan and are burdened, because we do not wish to be unclothed but to be clothed instead with our heavenly dwelling, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. 5Now the one who has fashioned us for this very purpose is God, who has given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.

Here is a "Paraphrase" NLT" (! Cor. 15). That explains it perfectly.

The Resurrection Body

35But someone may ask, “How will the dead be raised? What kind of bodies will they have?” 36What a foolish question! When you put a seed into the ground, it doesn’t grow into a plant unless it dies first. 37And what you put in the ground is not the plant that will grow, but only a bare seed of wheat or whatever you are planting. 38Then God gives it the new body he wants it to have. A different plant grows from each kind of seed. 39Similarly there are different kinds of flesh—one kind for humans, another for animals, another for birds, and another for fish.

Your body dies and never to return, A person lives in their Body, Their House dies, a complete death and it is never resurrected. like Jesus's Body was. I am only speaking about Jesus body. His body would not see "corruption" says, the Bible. That Truth had to come to pass.

A person is like a Egg in a shell. The Visible world is "Tempory" by GOD's design. It is a creation. for another purpose. The things we cannot see with the Naked eye are Lasting, So when a person see's you they only see's the body you live in that is tempory and not you. you do not die, your body dies and the veil is removed. And the Real Appears. Remember, Your brain, your heart, all Phyiscal is gone. But you remain. In the care of GOD until you are clothe with a NEW Glorified Body. Or change in a "Rapture" before the Body dies. "Inwhich we all should hope for." If our body die before then, we just fall asleep as so many portions of "Holy Scripture" has declare. And When The Trumpet sounds we wake up and clothe with a NEW BODY, looking like Jesus.

Now read this very careful, it is almost like a "3 card Molly".

The Resurrection Body

35But someone will ask, “How are the dead raised? With what kind of body will they come?” 36How foolish! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies. 37When you sow, you do not plant the body that will be, but just a seed, perhaps of wheat or of something else. 38But God gives it a body as he has determined, and to each kind of seed he gives its own body. 39Not all flesh is the same: People have one kind of flesh, animals have another, birds another and fish another. 40There are also heavenly bodies and there are earthly bodies; but the splendor of the heavenly bodies is one kind, and the splendor of the earthly bodies is another. 41The sun has one kind of splendor, the moon another and the stars another; and star differs from star in splendor.

42So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; 43it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; 44it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body.

If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. 45So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being” f ; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit. 46The spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and after that the spiritual. 47The first man was of the dust of the earth; the second man is of heaven. 48As was the earthly man, so are those who are of the earth; and as is the heavenly man, so also are those who are of heaven. 49And just as we have borne the image of the earthly man, so shall we g bear the image of the heavenly man.

50I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. 51Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— 52in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead [sleep] will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. 54When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”

Translations sometimes have to convey a though pattern into a "Biblical Thought" that agree's with "Scripture as a whole". to make us solid and grounded, to not to be swayed by every wind and doctrine.

yes his comments are rough, but it might let me reach someones else curiosity that is afraid to speak up about something. I will try to be careful, in not abusing my freedom there. He really does not know how bad I can be! You do! LOL.

@Christ4Ever -- every once in a while PloughBoys' comments Do make sense and some of the times his use of Scripture Is correct. But 3/4 of the time it isn't and he sounds Way out in left field.

His perception of life is 'questionable.'

Dear Sister,
All I can do is :-) at the above that you have written about our Brother PloughBoy!

As with many things, understanding our Brother requires, patience, prayer, and a foundation of Love that allows us to understand some of what is unseen, but only through Holy Spirit guidance of course! :-)

Dear Brother,
Thank-you for taking the time, and sharing what you did Brother! The hope is that it will provide clarity to some here.
Too often the mistake that happens in this area is the belief that the Spirit through Christ Jesus is like a Ghost as with what happened with Timothy. Because unless you have sight, in discussions it is communicated as unseen, and the thought is that if it is unseen, then it does not have attributes that are associated with a body of flesh/dust, or in other words doesn't occupy any space. There's another word I wanted to use here, but it escapes my mind at the moment.

I had sight when I was young, but had no understanding or one to teach me, for I didn't know Christ Jesus at the time. For there is both light & darkness, and my fear was great. So, I have forced myself to leave it till the time my body returns to dust, and I'm called home.

Thank-you also, for being kind, to those who have shown themselves to be otherwise to you.
For I do know how sharp your teeth can be!!! :)

God bless!
With the Love of Christ Jesus.

To all and sundry,

judge not lest you be judged
is a good motto to stick to.

if someone dares to try to express in the English tongue the mysteries that most have not entered, why judge him if you can not understand.

Likewise, if someone shows complete confusion as to what is written, ask the Lord to give the gentle word as you have received.

Bless you ....><>

My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation. For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.

Behold, we put bits in the horses' mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body.
Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.
Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell. For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: but the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing.

My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.

Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
James Chapter 3

The work of righteousness will be peace; the service of righteousness will be quiet confidence forever.
Isaiah 32:17

Sow for yourselves righteousness and reap the fruit of loving devotion; break up your unplowed ground. For it is time to seek the LORD until He comes and sends righteousness upon you like rain.
Hosea 10:12

Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
Matthew 5:9

The 66 books of the bible align with each other. Anything else does not align with them. Be safe, faith comes from hearing the word of God, not the Pope or anyone else.
I do not follow the false prophet however the Book of Enoch contains the Word of God and should have been in the Bible but the Jews banned it because it foretold the coming of Jesus. The Book of Enoch contains things that we could have never known at the time it was written because we did not have telescopes and it is absolutely spot on.

I totally agree. That dude is a scoffer and we are not to entertain their kind. Some people are worth saving, others not so much as Jesus said
I thought that most people read "translations" or paraphases" of the "Word of GOD" ? I do know, a good "translation" of "The Original Copied Text" will explain this to you in the front of "The Book"! To inform what you are reading.:eyes: GOD did give us grade school also, for learning how to approach "The Book". What did your introduction to Your "Bible" tell you, of what, you are reading. Or did you take it for granted or assumed you knew what you was reading. The better the Translation, the more information concerning what you are reading before you start reading it and get to involve with a bad companion that you cannot cut loose, but you have fell in love with it. You can "Romance the Wrong Stone" The City of Babylon, has all kinds of "Merchandise" even "Bibles", for those who have "Itching Ears"! You must always remember That Satan is The prince, The god , the ruler of this world , a position give to him by "The ALMIGHTY GOD".
And His grestest weapon is Deception.
I am aware of all that and don't know why you feel the need for condescending tones but the Book of Enoch was found with the Dead Sea scrolls and should have been included in the Bible but the Jews banned it because it foretold the coming of Jesus.
The book of Enoch is in a class of its own among apocryphal books. It is by far the most important of them, as it guided many of the New Testament authors in their own writings. This book lines up with the rest of scripture and was highly esteemed by the early Christians. Where do we get the idea that it is anything less than equal to scripture, and authoritative for teaching from? Could it be because it takes us out of our comfort zone and requires change? People who reject the book of Enoch usually only read it with a natural, literal, western-scientific mindset, not realizing many of his visions and parables need to be interpreted spiritually.
Not to mention, The New Testament has the same quotes that were in Enoch.
  1. Jesus referred to The Book of Enoch; “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.” (Mat 5:5) pulled from “The elect shall possess light, joy and peace, and they shall inherit the earth. (Enoch 5:7 {6:9})”
  2. "Woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation. (Luke 6:24) Woe to you who are rich, for in your riches have you trusted; but from your riches you shall be removed. (Enoch 94:8 {93:7}).
  3. “Ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. (Mat. 19:28) I will place each of them on a throne of glory (Enoch 108:12 {105:26})
  4. “Between us and you there is a great gulf fixed. (Luke 16:26) by a chasm ... [are] their souls are separated (Enoch 22: 9,11{22:10,12})
  5. “That ye may be called the children of light (John 12:36) the good from the generation of light (Enoch 108:11 {105: 25})

I think God watches over his word and it stands complete in the 66 books.

@DieAmartyr -- TAke a look at Isaiah 7:14 "Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel? " Isn't This verse Also foretelling the coming of Jesus?

A person can Google -- the qualifiers for a book being included in the Cannon. There are a number of them. And -- there were many books included in the Dead Sea Scrolls -- some were called the false gospels. They didn't sound like the rest of the accepted books -- not the same quality of writing. And some contained God's Word but included some mythology / fables not consistant with the rest of Scripture.

There are also comments about the Book of Jasher in those 66 books that do make up the Word of God that we have.

The most important part of God's Word is His plan for our salvation -- that there is both a heaven and lake of fire and brimstone in the future. God's Word tells us how to stay Out of the later one and be able to enjoy the former one.

It IS God's inspired Word to all of us.

Any book containing the word of God is to be considered. It is up to the reader to discern what they take from it.

It is your right to think whatever you want. There is a reason that books become unbanned and available and if you have never read the Book of Enoch, it is a fabulous read if nothing else.

Christian Bibles range from the 73 books of the Catholic Church canon, the 66 books of the canon of some denominations or the 80 books of the canon of other denominations of the Protestant Church, to the 81 books of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church canon. The first part of Christian Bibles is the Greek Old Testament, which contains, at minimum, the above 24 books of the Tanakh but divided into 39 (Protestant) or 46 (Catholic) books and ordered differently. The second part is the Greek New Testament, containing 27 books; the four canonical gospels, Acts of the Apostles, 21 Epistles or letters and the Book of Revelation.

No I have not but did you know that the Book of Enoch was in the first Bibles and included by early Christians?
The Book of Enoch was considered as scripture in the Epistle of Barnabas (16:4) and by many of the early Church Fathers, such as Athenagoras, Clement of Alexandria, Irenaeus and Tertullian, who wrote c. 200 that the Book of Enoch had been rejected by the Jews because it contained prophecies pertaining to Christ.

That was found online. The Book of Enoch contains things humans could have never known. How do you explain that?

The Bible makes it clear why God is sending a strong delusion in the end times: “ They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness” (2 Thessalonians 2:10-12). Simply put, God sends a strong delusion to those who choose not to believe the gospel of Christ. Those who take delight in mocking and rejecting Him, He will condemn.

It is a person’s choice whether to accept and believe the truth of Jesus Christ as presented in the Scriptures. To receive the truth and the love God offers is in keeping with its teachings, “This is love for God: to obey His commands” (1 John 5:3). Conversely, to know the truth and not obey it is to face the wrath of God: “The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness” (Romans 1:18). Frankly speaking, there is no more dangerous condition for man than to know the truth and refuse to obey it. To do so is to harden the heart and make God’s condemnation sure.

When one knows the truth and refuses to obey it, he is subject to any lie, any deception, any untruth that humanity can conjure up. “For although they knew God, they neither glorified Him nor gave thanks to Him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools” (Romans 1:21-22). Paul goes on in the next few verses to describe the mindset and behaviors of those who disbelieve (see Romans 1:29-31). As a result of human foolishness and arrogant disdain of the things of God, “God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done” (Romans 1:28). And correspondingly, “Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things, but also approve of those who practice them” (Romans 1:32).

Isaiah puts it succinctly: “They have chosen their own ways, and their souls delight in their abominations; so I [God] also will choose harsh treatment for them and bring upon them what they dread. For when I called, no one answered, when I spoke, no one listened. They did evil in My sight and chose what displeases Me” (Isaiah 66:3-4).

When people know the truth and refuse to receive it, when they refuse to obey it and hold it in unrighteousness, “they will be condemned for enjoying evil rather than believing the truth” (2 Thessalonians 2:12 NLT).

“God is love” (1 John 4:16). He is not some cruel monster who deliberately and inwardly delights in preparing people for everlasting condemnation. But He earnestly and lovingly proclaims the gospel of Christ, “not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9).

Throughout the Scriptures, God urges people to accept the truth. But when people reject Him and spurn His message, then—and not until then—God hardens them and turns them over to a deluded mind to wallow in their wickedness to their eternal damnation. This is what the Lord says about those who choose to reject the truth: “They greatly love to wander; they do not restrain their feet. So the Lord does not accept them; He will now remember their wickedness and punish them for their sins” (Jeremiah 14:10).

You are right.. Additionally, I learned my lesson about letting anyone else's interpretation of Scripture be mine. Whatever I find interesting, informative, believable, not believable, or any other reaction, I go to the Word in study and prayer to be taught by God Himself. No way will I have excuses in that Day, that "they" told me so I didn't know, or I didn't take the time to ask You.

Well -- soothsayers have been known to tell people things they couldn't have known, also. And there's also the world of mythology. I've never read the book of Enoch -- but from what I Have read. There are good reasons why the various books that were not included were Not Included. They had to meet certain criteria to Be included.

All the books that were taken out of the Bible but remain in the RCC Bible can be found on-line. I'm thinking that the books of 1 and 11 Macaabees was the history of the 400 years between the Old and New Testaments. It's been said that there's no doctrine included. But a lot of history. I figure we have plenty of important history in the Old Testament and Major and Minor Prophets , so........... The Gospel unto Salvation is the most important and all the Biblical ethics / morality. Christian living. Conduct for the local church. Et.c

There are Many books besides the book of Jasher and Enochs for our reading. :)
