"When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, it is finished: and he bowed his head and gave up the Ghost." DIED. If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thine heart that GOD HATH RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD,
He received the Spirit of God for two purposes:
1) in order to be born again and become the first of the NEW creatures and set the standard for being born of the Spirit
2) So that when he was glorified God passed the Holy Ghost baptism to him as he had been matured to the point that he had earned that right. He now Gives us the same
life that he received of the Father.
If your gonna espouse Trinity you gotta put up a better argument than that. Do you really believe he didn't die?If so how can you believe that God raised him from the dead?
a main requirement for salvation.
Got ya covered, Jesus tells us that the Fathers words were the words that he gave to us, so everything he said were Gods words. So I could say that God would be where ever
two or three are gathered together in my name or I could say that he was speaking to them of the future, after resurrection when he did become a God as declared by the Father.
John 17:8 I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.
John 14:10 "........the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works." That is to say they're not his words but the Fathers.
John 10:30 "I and my Father (2 entities) are ONE."
1Co 6:17 "But he that is joined unto the Lord is ONE spirit."
When a husband and wife are married they also are considered ONE, in this case flesh but still two human bodies.
this is not true and false teaching, when we examine what it means to be born again we know it is to be set free from sin. Jesus never sinned, he had no need to be born again. born again is for sinners.
Born again as in born of water and then born of the Spirit. He said that NO MAN CAN SEE THE KINGDOM UNLESS THESE TWO BIRTHS OCCURRED AND HE HAD BOTH. We all know he was not a sinner and that he was in communion with the Father his entire life until the last 18 or so hours of it. Both are necessary to SEE THE KINGDOM OF GOD. Your diverting the statement to make it sound like it says something it doesn't.
Born again is for us all i agree but it applied to him as well or it wouldn't have happened.
You didn't answer the questions as to YOUR comment" he did not die" but yet this is the main belief in our statement of faith that GOD RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD.
And as only a man can die then I guess that settles that.
Jesus became a God makes no sense at all? Imagine if you can your little brother or sister spills milk on the floor and you get beat to the point of death on their behalf to teach them a lesson. What did you get out of that?
Thats Trinity doctrine on it's face. What was the reward that Jesus got for overcoming the world to sit in his Fathers throne. At his glorification he you might say graduated from the school of the world and was deserving of the title as he was given LIFE WITHIN HIMSELF TO GIVE TO US
A God can be made if the spiritual genetic material from both sides come from God himself! Your spirit and mine and Jesus' all came out from the Father and they are feminine.
David in the Psalms says "Let my soul make HER boast in the Lord......." A man saying his soul is feminine! HMM. But when the Spirit of God who is masculine (THE FATHER)
joins with the feminine spirit within you a NEW creature is born??? What is that creature? A new born son of God that has the genetic material of his Father from both sides of the equation. And since both sides are from God there is only one thing this new creature can grow up to be and that is a GOD. This my friend is the GOSPEL OF GOD.
And this is why the WORD WAS GOD was said for this was the plan of God all along to have children that are GODS, but all in subjection to their Father in agape Love, one for another as well. Eye hath not seen nor ear heard the things that God hath prepared for those that Love him. AMEN?
Read that Bible again with this perspective and see if it resonates as a house built on solid ground and not sand.
I would refer you again to John 14:10 and John 17:8 Where he says his words are the words of the Father, so was he actually speaking of himself or was the Father answering?
If I take all his words to be true then I must believe that he never said a word that he was not instructed to say by his Father during his ministry. It was only when he took upon himself the sin of the world that he lost communion and spoke his own words.
I thought we were making good progress, guess not so much.
Just this one sentence alone, you have contradicted what the apostle Paul said:
For since by man came death, by MAN also resurrection of those that are dead. 1 Corinthians 15:21
For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one MAN the many will be made righteous Romans 5:19
Your continuous rejection of what was presented from the Gospel is stark evidence that you don’t believe what is written in there, whether you want to admit it or not.

People who are trinitarians cannot accept that Jesus is purely a man during His earthly ministry because the antichrist spirit is influencing them to ultimately deny His mortal death and resurrection. Those who read do your own research on Docetism, a spring off from the heresy of Gnosticism that denied Jesus’ mortal body as a real fact. Docetism is the belief that Jesus is so divine that He cannot truly have a mortal body. Trinitarians are under the influence of that same spirit and they refuse to repent.
The Bible directly states that Jesus is God and is God's Son, the second person of the Trinity. Here is what God's Word says about the deity of Christ.
www.moodybible.org
The Bible directly states that Jesus is God in a number of passages.1 Taken by themselves, these verses provide enough evidence for the church to believe in and teach the deity of Jesus Christ. But the indirect evidence of Scripture is equally compelling.
The names of God are often applied to Jesus. He is called "the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father" and "Immanuel" (meaning "God with us").2 Elsewhere Jesus is called "The Lord (Jehovah) our Righteousness," "God" and "Son of God."3
The Bible ascribes the characteristics of deity to Jesus Christ. He is described as eternal, omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent and immutable.4
Jesus Christ is equal with God the Father. He is worshiped as God.5 His name is assigned equal standing with God the Father in the church's baptismal formula and in the apostolic benediction.6
Christ performed works which only God can do. He is creator.7 He is the upholder of all things.8 He forgives sin.9 He will raise the dead and execute judgment.10
Jesus Christ Himself claimed deity. He taught His disciples to pray in His name.11 He claimed that He and the Father were one and that He was the Son of God.12 He claimed that to know Him was to know God, to see Him was to see God, to receive Him was to receive God, to believe Him was to believe in God and to honor Him was to honor God, while to hate Him was to hate God.13
1 John 1:1, 20:28; Romans 9:5; Phil. 2:6; Titus 2:13, Hebrews 1:8; 1 John 5:20. Other passages include John 13:3, 17:5, Colossians 1:15–19, 1 Timothy 3:16, and Hebrews 1:3
Romans 9:5 never conclusively indicated Christ as God! Read all the translations before coming to any conclusions and stop taking dubious translations as proof for your false doctrines when those translations contradict other verses!
they are descended from the famous Hebrew ancestors; and Christ, as a human being, belongs to their race. May God, who rules over all, be praised forever! Amen. (Good news translation)
They have those famous ancestors, who were also the ancestors of the Christ. I pray that God, who rules over all, will be praised forever! Amen. (Contemporary English)
Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen. (KJV)
KJV simply said that Christ is over all, and God blessed or blessed by God forever! Some other translations even completely separate God from Christ!
1 John 5:20 And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true—in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
“He” in the last sentence clearly refers to the Father and not Jesus! The previous sentence was just talking about His Son Jesus!
You insist on contradicting what Paul and Jesus Himself said, (even though I quoted you Jesus calling His Father the ONLY TRUE GOD which you ignore to your own peril!), and go on taking dubious translations without looking at all of them, while glossing over verses that prove you wrong! Is this how you treat the Scriptures when you call yourself a believer?
Stop using verses in Isaiah that say the Son is God, we all know He is divine when Isaiah wrote that verse because He was not even a man at that time! And if you want to say I’m denying that Jesus is the Messiah/Christ (which I never did!), show proof instead of just throwing false accusations around!
How can anyone with an honest heart stare in the face of Jesus’ words which said the Father is the only true God (John 17:3) and still accept translations of verses that contradict what Jesus said?! Yet this is what is being done by this OP! Is it any wonder then why the antichrist will deceive the whole world, including most of professing Christianity when people who call themselves Christians actively abuse Scriptures to suit their man-made doctrines?
1Co 15:45 "And so it is written the first MAN Adam was MADE a living soul, The last Adam became a life giving Spirit." John 1:30 " This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a MAN which is preferred before me: for he was before me." Also written by John!!!! As is the first 4 verses of chapter one giving us a bit of insight into the fact that Jesus was a indeeda MAN that BECAME a life giving Spirit just like his Father. This is the GOOD NEWS for this is for you too as you are just a man to start with.
I do not have a will to be right I just know that I am.
