Hello. I happen to be primarily Wiccan, however I do love the lord. What are your guy's thoughts on Wicca And Witchcraft?
Hello. Is it okay that I am both Wiccan and Christian at the same time?

The old testament is filled with warnings about idol worship, here is one below
Leviticus 26:1
Ye shall make you no idols, neither shall ye rear you up a graven image, or a pillar, neither shall ye place any figured stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am Jehovah your God.
Wicca promotes the use of idols and the worship of possible created beings represented by those idols. Nuff said? They are not compatible.

The thing is, there is also slavery in the bible. So is something so old- translated about a million times, most likely with changes along the way- really the word of god?

The Bible says:
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. (Ephesians 6:12-13)
Many Wiccans say that Wicca is harmless and nature-loving — that it has nothing to do with evil, Satanism and dark forces. But that is exactly what Satan wants them to believe! Intent on deceit, "Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light," says Paul. "It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness." Paul says that if they don't turn toward God and repent, "their end will be what their actions deserve" (2 Corinthians 11:14-15).
We should worship God, not His creation.
Wiccans are also right to care for and appreciate nature. But they go too far when they start worshiping it. Jesus tells His followers in the Gospel of Luke, "Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only" (Luke 4:8). Creation is merely a reflection of His glory and is not to be worshiped.
The Bible says:
For although they knew God, they neither glorified Him as God nor gave thanks to Him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.… They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator — who is forever praised. Amen. (Romans 1:21-23, 25)
Don't try to contact or control supernatural forces.
Magic and spells depend on what Wiccans call a psychic link. Psychic development can involve training in divination — the attempt to obtain information about the past, present or future by occult means or one's own psychic abilities.8 The Bible is very clear that divination and any other form of supernatural contact (other than prayer, of course!) is forbidden, since it relies on a supernatural power apart from God. In other words, there is no such thing as "white magic."
The Bible says:
Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Slavery in the OT was the result of people warring with each other and when some surrendered, it was thought best not to kill them to discourage others from refusing to give up, so they were made to work to pay off their debt of violence against the jews. Slavery then was merely forced labor, which many do even now in prisons. As slaves, they were treated better than any slaves from any other nations around at that time. To release them back to the nations they came from only encouraged them to cause more trouble down the road.
But you are ignoring the truth of the christian faith with arguments that only hold water with non-christians. You have made God in your own image which pleases you more so than the reality of who He is!

The principle of this verse applies... that two masters cannot be served at the same time.
I pray the Holy Spirit truly opens your eyes to the truth that is found in the real Jesus.

Hope you can come to understand why they are not compatible. It's not that we are making you choose, but in truth God is. He is a jealous God and would not share you with another. He doesn't want just a part of you, but all of you. Wicca will distract you and take you away from what He has for you.
(for you shall worship no other god, for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God), Exodus 34:14
We have others members in the past who were Wiccan and came to know Jesus Christ as their Savior. Also, partakers in Witchcraft which had placed them in a Spiritual battle, when they decided to convert.
So, if you do choose Jesus. In place of the creation, which is a choice you must make. You will find that it will not be as easy as it sounds. Maybe, that is why delving into both and attempting to find a compromise seems like a good option. You see a truth in both, yet as others have mentioned and I as well. In creation you are only seeing what is a reflection of God's Glory.
The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork. Day unto day utters speech, And night unto night reveals knowledge. [There is] no speech nor language [Where] their voice is not heard. Their line has gone out through all the earth, And their words to the end of the world. In them He has set a tabernacle for the sun Psalm 19:1-4
In Wicca you see His Glory, but are stopped from going further. We are not blind that there are two camps. One camp doesn't want you to go any further. For as much as many don't want to admit to it. There are battles that go on. Some for your very soul.

Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Ephesians 6:12-13
As my Sister in Christ Jesus Lyndle has pointed out by giving you the Words of Jesus. You can't be in both camps.

I truly hope and will pray for you that you make the right choice. For this is a choice that has eternal consequences and not temporary for the life you are now living. If you come to Christ Jesus, and put aside Wicca. As I said before, it doesn't mean that everything becomes easy. It will not. Nothing that cost a death on the Cross comes cheaply, but oh Aleu there will be something so much greater for you to know and experience that even your imagination cannot comprehend it!!!!
But, as it is written, "What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him"-- 1 Corinthians 2:9

There was also witches and murder also, God didnt promote it but like the others it was a part of history.
Also using a million times is something people do to try and make something sound absurd and wrong by association.... called lack of weapons and wisdom

You came here to ask about Christianity so leave it at that for the moment. Some of us may know more about Wicca, but you'll receive what you need from God by a comparison. As long as you continue to compare the two, it is your mind that is answering you and likely it will be wrong. The answer does not lie in men's own logic...
Don't put down the scriptures or Christianity because of what you do see or what you don't . Rather talk to God and ask Him to make you hungry and thirsty for His righteousness. Consider what the scripture say about this:
"Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled." Matt 5:6
No matter what else you may have heard or read or understood, probably you have come across the idea that God does not lie... but men, all of us certainly have lied. The One who will do the "filling" as per the verse I quoted is God and He does not lie. Every man talking from his own mind alone, does lie. So what should you do?
As I said sincerely ask God to help you get hungry and thirsty for what He has for you.
"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.Matt 7:7-8
What I am asking you to do is to talk to God... that is to pray. If you are sincere, He will respond in some way. He will not leave you without hope.
But the others here have spoken correctly about not being able to travel down the two roads. If you stay on that other road [Wicca] you cannot stay on God's road also.
