There is only one revelation and That is Jesus Christ.
In this revelation we live and move and have our being.
There's only one person and that is the one whom God sent.
Everything else is a shadow manifestation of part revelation.
I did not attempt to answer your question because I see it as not valid.Sorry! Your "one revelation of Jesus Christ" eludes the outline defined in John 14 in anticipation of the original (which I leave for your conclusion).
I did not attempt to answer your question because I see it as not valid.
You altered the meaning of my statement "There is only one revelation and That is Jesus Christ".
I did not say or imply that we receive "one revelation of Jesus Christ".
Jesus Christ IS the revelation of the Father of himself to us.
The one God sent =the one God revealed
There is only one God and the one he sent is his revelation of himself who sent us,who are now also his revelation of himself in Christ.
Your question had to do with us receiving not revealing. We can't reveal what you don't know.
If you said:
How can anyone today receive a manifestation of God's revelation of "the way, the truth and the life", a.k.a., Jesus Christ?
This would be by loving God and the one he sent.
Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, e and We will come to him and make Our home with him.
And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.
One God one revelation, one person=Jesus Christ Amen
Again I can not answer the question as asked because I would have to consider the work of Jesus as unfinished. If you change your mind, the question is: How can one today personalize the promise of Christ's perpetual self-revelation? (John 14:18-21)
My mind says there is only one and that is God and the one God sent. How can one?
My mind says there is only one Day and that is the Lord Jesus Christ.Today
My mind says that's what Adam tried to do,to be another person outside of God who would forget who he actually was until God sent one to reveal that there is only one.personalize the promise of Christ's perpetual self-revelation?
Again I can not answer the question as asked because I would have to consider the work of Jesus as unfinished.
Let me break this communication gap down:
My mind says there is only one and that is God and the one God sent.
My mind says there is only one Day and that is the Lord Jesus Christ.
He IS the day,the day of the Lord and the day that the Lord has made.
My mind says that's what Adam tried to do,to be another person outside of God who would forget who he actually was until God sent one to reveal that there is only one.
I would not need to personalize anything about Christ unless I intend to be separate from his person.
There are two persons but one of them is a lie.Adam was a person who became a lie.
Jesus Christ is the only person who God sees therefore "Christ in us" IS his perpetual revelation to I am/us/himself.
The one whom God sent is God's revelation of himself to the world.
Maybe someone who's mind doesn't see things like I am would see it as a valid question but I just wanted to provide some contrast and the way I read your question it says:
How can Jesus Jesus Jesus?
I don't know why you are too nitpicky.
I agree I was being way to nit picky, honestly I was somewhat intimidated by your question and I prayed for an answer and that's the one I got.
Maybe the Lord is trying to teach us both something.
Perhaps he would like us to edify, exhort, and nurture the body rather than prove that as an individual we have superior knowledge of the scriptures.
Would it be possible to share what you see that others may not.
God set it up so that we need each cell in the body to distribute the necessary nutrients to the entire body and the cells may be to depleted to waist energy with a complicated extraction process.
So I apologize and knowing that you will forgive me I suggest we both try be as easy to understand as possible to benifit more than just a few cells.
I don't think I understand what you mean by "self revelation".Jesus Christ (in his perpetual self-revelation),
Such knowledge requires a radical change in man’s way of thinking. (Matt 16:22-23)

I don't think I understand what you mean by "self revelation".
I'm from the USA so I really don't understand English very well.
We have a saying here that applies well and that is could you dumb it down a little".
I can only think"the one God sent..aka Jesus Christ" is God revealing himself.
No man can receive this revelation until the Spirit binds the strong man(my carnal mind)
and the mind of Christ is allowed full rein.
Matthew 16:23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.
I said in a previous post that there are only two men and one of them "is not" because they are a lie.
Adam became a lie because he deviated(missed the mark) from the eternal(perpetual) Truth that is Christ.
Jesus revealed to Peter that any mind that does not savor the divine plan savors the lie/man/satan/devil/beast/false profit/son of perdition/carnal mind etc..
It's interesting to note that is commonly taught that Satan wants to destroy man but Jesus tells us that he savours the things of Man.
Help me to understand what you mean by "perpetual self revelation" first, then I can move on to the rest.
According to the context, personal revelation can be deconstructed as actually "seeing the Son of Man come as King", i.e., in the glory of his Father with his angels, in order to "repay everyone according to his deeds".
The latter part is the bottom line of personal knowledge of Jesus Christ is, a.k.a., "the Messiah, the Son of the living God", altruistically referred to as "my church", whom"not even death will ever be able to overcome": a humanly inconceivable concept of immortality, and therefore, the stuff of revelation. (Matt 16:13-28)
I think I understand you but only because of an experience.
Without that experience I might tell you I understand but there would be no power in my understanding because it would just be more information that I warehouse in the carnal understanding.
The "seeing" will cause the destruction of your carnal understanding and make man's wisdom sound like babble.
The book of revelation the of Jesus Christ will cease to be a future mystery and become the revelation of Christ formed in you or actually us.God's word becomes reality instead of input from the 5 senses.
I'm not sure if that is what you mean but that is how I see things.
I'm not sure I understand this, this time make it really dumb,I mean keep in mind that God uses the foolishness of preaching.

The only way is to obey those words of Jesus in John 14. Those who comply will receive a personal manifestation of both the Father God and Jesus, that personal revelation of God that saves. It's a supremely precious manifestation of awareness and knowledge that the world can't figure out with the best of minds among men. Those that will not believe on Jesus when the opportunity opens up will immediately be blinded spiritually by Satan, rendering the hesitant hearer even more distanced from any possibility of that manifestation. 2 Cor. 4:[1] Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; [2] But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. [3] But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: [4] In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. [5] For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.
[6] For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
Personal revelation we are speaking of begins with belief. It is the same as that manifestation Jesus spoke of. Upon believing, the light enters and prevents darkness from blinding us. In that light we receive the revelation of Christ through a personal manifestation of God that the world cannot comprehend. Few people break through by way of faith, requiring a convincing of their natural mind first, then believing what their natural eyes and ears experience. There is no personal revelation of God for them until they face the Judgment of God.
