Why Pre-Trib is unbiblical

i dont think mike's here to learn anything as he deliberately ignores scripture that shows his in error.
hes just here to preach his agenda ignoring all contradicting scriptures.

i have shown him many times how the things he says are false but he never responses to the scripture i post for him , he just simply ignores it because it contradicts what he says

The Gospel is preached to the end:

(Mat 24:14) And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Paul says the same:

(1Co 15:23) But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

(1Co 15:24) Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

  1. who's preaching the gospel to the end? "they that are Christ's" - 1Co 15:23
  2. and what is the end? End of the world of course. "Christ's at his coming." 24 "Then cometh the end"

Hello Mike.

Replies are always welcome.

What troubles me about many posts I have seen in the past,
is that a post sometimes is incorrect.

When you read an incorrect post you reply, hopefully with the information
you deem correct. Sometimes the Holy Spirit provides the scriptural references.

Some of these posts are from stronger Christians and this is what troubles me and
has always made me wary of my own interpretation.

How could I know if I was incorrect in my interpretation and they were in fact correct.

I am aware that there are many denominations with erroneous views of God, man
and reconciliation. In my experience, all theology and doctrinal structures that I have
observed contain at least some error.

If one looks into the history of the church what becomes evident is the continuous struggle
with error. What is worse is that the theology or doctrinal emphasis becomes rigid and inflexible.
This is usually a fatal condition, it is easily recognizable in cults.

There are of course simple steps to take to avoid nearly all error.

1) Trust no one, read the scriptures yourself extensively.

2) Rely on the Holy Spirit to guide you.

3) Ask Jesus to keep you humble and open to all He has for you.

4) Never, ever make assumptions unless there is no other choice.

5) Accept the truth that none of us will ever fully grasp all truth.

In fact that is why the church is a collection of spirit filled believers.
The full truth and its application is a coordinated effort as we approach
some maturity in our Christ like identity.

6) The Gospel above all is simple, so the kiss principle will apply.

Hello Jari.

That is a good example of scripture that simply reinforces a simple truth.

(Mat 24:14) And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all
the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

No back flip with a half twist, no mental gymnastics.

Simple, true and wholesome.

But,But,butt...what is the end.

Hebrews 8:11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

This event will surely put and end to our preachin.

hi, i don't think its talking about end of learning. the phrase would be illogical... And Paul had this same thought about the end.
please see my post above.

So you mean the learning will cease and then the end comes?
So when everyone knows all there is to know about the Lord then God will destroy everything?

no brother. Gospel preaching means tell the good news of Christ to everyone. then the end will come.

the word Gospel means Good news

Hebrews 8:11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

Will we need to preach the gospel after this event takes place?
There won't be anything that we don't all know.
The knowledge of the glory of God will cover the earth so I have to assume that the people who carried the gospel through the earth were successful to the point that everyone was aware of the glory of God.Why would the earth need to be destroyed?

Habakkuk 2:14 "For the earth will be filled With the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, As the waters cover the sea.

we're already in this age due to Holy spirit teaching us . well actually i think knowing Lord to means knowing Jesus , that He is your Lord God and savior.
it doesnt mean to have all the knowledge but to know Jesus...
if you ask me

That sounds right because Jesus Glorified God's name,so knowing Jesus would probably entail knowing something about God's glory.Do you get the impression that the church has a full understanding of God's glory so that the gospel can begin to spread?
I do get the impression that the church goes out of it's way to avoid this verse because it does not fit most doctrines.I can't really fit in any rapture theory.

gospel has been spreading since Jesus sent the twelve apostoles.
and by gospel people have come to know the Lord.

but please lets not stray from the topic at hand

Hello Mike.

In reply to mike.

I noticed in your reply that you stated;

"1Th 1:10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

So, all of the other things of God's wrath is not really the main wrath, just a warm up. We don't escape that wrath right? Judgement on the Earth we have to endure?

If we are left here David, what effect does the anointed Church of God have on Satan's plan?"

A reasonable argument Mike, some generalization as usual and I will attempt to answer your question.

I will answer your quote from Thessalonians as this is a crucial area in our study.

Also, the reply will align the answer to your question with your quote from Thessalonians.

Finally, an answer to "what effect does the Church have on Satan's plan.".

Let's start Mike, I first will deal with three whole chapters of the book of Revelations.

A large part of the Wrath of God is aimed firmly at the harlot who rides the beast.

Three chapters of the book of Revelations (17,18 and 19) is concerned with a description of the harlot, her sins, and the wrath and judgement God delivers to her.

Just one small point here Mike.

Revelations 18

2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

The fallen means not departure but in fact to have fallen from a previous position of relationship. I though I would just add that one Mike.

Now in answer to question.

Revelations 18

7 In the measure that she glorified herself and lived luxuriously, in the same measure give her torment and sorrow; for she says in her heart, ‘I sit as queen, and am no widow, and will not see sorrow.’ 8 Therefore her plagues will come in one day—death and mourning and famine. And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is the Lord God who judges her.

This Wrath of God upon the harlot is localised, it does not affect God's Church. It is over very quickly, just one day, do not panic.

See Mike, three whole chapters of Revs (Wrath) without us recieving a scratch.

Now what effect does the Church have on Satan's plan.

Remember Mike that the Church has been diminished via the falling away.

God reduces the number of days that we have to endure otherwise
no one would be saved.

Once the restrainer is taken out of the way, whammo we cop it.
Just like we have always copped it, nothing new or surprising
here.

Now for an interesting verse from;

Revelations 16

14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

Read the above verses Mike, see we are there right to the end, still watching and waiting!!!

Drop the pretrib stuff Mike, you will only have to drop it later anyway.

Pretty good......

You certainly can present evidence in a very understanding way.

I am not sure what point you where making with piptō petō "Fallen" means to be thrust down though.

The Harlot system is taken down under the agreement of the Antichrist and beast system. Seems God somehow put in their minds to destroy this city and system. Being part of all the false religions the Antichrist feels that since he is god, then these other belief systems have to go. The ten nations with the Antichrist agree, and it's wiped out in a day. I can assume it was nuked.

Tribulation is more than just a couple bad days........

Luk 21:22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

The days of vengence cover all the vials, trumpets, plagues and the other nasty stuff occurring.

Luk 21:35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
Luk 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

These days of vengeance come on all that are on the whole earth. We are told to keep ourselves so that we may escape ALL these things that shall come to pass.............

ALL these things David...................... ALL THINGS. Not just a few of the more worse things.

Saints, are they safe?

The message coming from the 144,000 sealed Jews to carry the testimony of Jesus across the globe bring many back that do not accept the beast system. Those many Christians that had been left also get a clue as they see all the events of Rev unfold before their eyes. It's a very short period of seven years in which God deals with Israel and the rest of man.

There is no power to carry the testimony of Jesus given to anyone else. If we where left here, we would have been the force behind converting many during this time. We are not mentioned one time during tribulation. No Gospel of Christ, no Church mentioned, no Brothers or sisters mentioned, nothing. The Church is not there!!! Had we been there, the whole text would have focused on us.

Our Job is done:

We spread the gospel all over the World, we did our Job, then the end comes. When the temple is set up, Flee inhabitants of Israel. Destruction is coming. Those that ignored the free gift of Jesus are left here to face a time this Earth has never seen.

The saints that are here do not go unscathed.

This is a period of time the Earth has never seen. It's a Hellish seven years with possible evidence of Nukes covering many locations.

Jer 25:32 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth.
Jer 25:33 And the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground.

Rev 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
Rev 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

No place is the Church told that the powers of Satan can touch us. In fact we our told God will never leave us or forsake us. The Gates of Hell can not prevail against the Church. We have been delivered from the power of Darkness, I give you the authority to tread on serpents and scorpions and nothing by any means shall hurt you. (Luke 10:19)

2Th 3:2 And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.
2Th 3:3 But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.

For us to be here during Tribulation, where the Beast system has power to destroy us, is to say that God lied to the Church, and the Holy Spirit no longer has power.

We come back with the Lord:
More evidence we are not there.

Zec 14:5
And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.

Rev 17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

Rev 16:15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

A thief does not leave a wake of destruction, and send e-mails warning that he is coming. This is instruction in Johns vision to the Church that just as Jesus said, ALL those things can be avoided.

So David, Might as well just get use to the idea that your going to have to watch the Whole tribulation from a Wide screen TV in Heaven. Don't fret, you won't get bored.

Jesus Is Lord.

mike's still posting errousnous view that has been proven wrong in this thread. mike please stop...
isn't it part of forum rules to have respect?
not much respect to ignore everything others say...

so it quite isnt that simple.

I just responded with a lengthy post to everything David777 had written. What do you mean by Ignore????

My view proven wrong? By who Jari?

Do you realize that half the Church world believe in Pre-trib rapture? Proven wrong by who Jari?

Respect?

Nobody is attacking anyone here Jari, and I don't want to discuss once again things you and I have already covered in other threads. One time is fine for me.

So, many are not saved and die unsaved. Does that mean all the salvation scriptures are not true?

or does it mean those that die unsaved did not have faith and believe in the Lord Jesus?

The Word is true for those that believe, for without faith it's impossible to please God, and Jesus said all things are possible to those that believe, and nothing on this earth is big enough to take me out early, or steal my salvation. God is with me, nothing can be against me.

Jesus is Lord.

i didnt know if half belive that but it doesnt matter.

its our duty to serve God in respecting His word and studying it and not respect man's opinions over God's word.

if you think i was disrespectful you could have said so, but i hope you'd simply forgive me as i didnt intent to be disrespectful.

you on the other hand seem to be malicious toward the thread.
by not giving any respect whatsoever.

And you would know how its proven wrong if youd care least tiny bit for the truth. - and read what i posted.

I never said I was upset, or that you disrespected anyone Jari. I never felt you were unkind to me, or disrespectful toward me in any way.

You and I have already gone over these types of arguments before, we don't look at things the same way. I am perfectly fine with that. I believe you put lots of effort and thought toward God's word, and that you are diligent in your studies. You have had some very amazing and great points, but on this subject here, I don't think we are going to see eye to eye on it.

Jari:

What I am saying is, that in the Word of God we are promised to be protected and kept safe. Salvation alone means to be rescued and put in safety, Physically and Morally. God always keeps his word.

In that we can't have what we don't believe, we can't receive if we don't obey God, and the plan of God. God's perfect protection is being where God told you to be, doing what God said do.

If God told us to go to Iran and preach Jesus is in the streets, that would be the safest place on earth for us. More safe than sitting at home watching TV.

There are many reasons people are not healed, many reasons people are not born again, or protected. However, it's in the Word of God, it's ours, and we should go after these things making sure that we do not come up short in the promises.
