You did not answer his question. When JESUS says, YOU will receive POWER from on high, what does that word POWER mean to you (I know what it is...in the Greek it is dynamos, literally POWER, as opposed to exousia meaning Authority), The distinction IS meat not milk.

Ultimately GOD has all that is called POWER in creation but there are different authorities dependent on one's role. In the beginning God gave humanity dominion (He is a God of His word) and man submitting to the line of knowledge presented by Belial (the Serpent) inadvertently gave him dominion (Luke 4:5,6) and he is now the god of this world. God foreknowing all this promised a redeemer (Genesis 3:15) and Jesus is the redemption but His Kingdom (though within all who submit to His Lordship) has not yet come and will be realized in this realm at the Parousia (the 2nd Coming). Until then "POWER" is given by God as He wills but some of the worldly power we see and hear on the news is of the god of this world (Belial).
