SignUp Now!Col 2:9 For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form,
Jesus wasn't called "Emanuel". God was with him, tho.I would offer.
Yes, the fulness of deity not partial. Emanuel,
Deity meaning. ."God like nature" after a supernatural (without beginning) of Holy Spirit life or end our eternal invisible God. . . our Holy Father not the son of man Jesus a shadow.
Jesus wasn't called "Emanuel". God was with him, tho.
Your grasping a straws...
Jesus the Christ Emanuel. Not Jesus the Son man who demonstrated Emanuel
Satan the spirt of lies makes it all one in the same
Satan who has no spiritual understanding hid in parables is blind to the things of faith the gospel
Yes, with him not the Son of man is him
Matthew 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
If he was FULLY God, then he absolutely could not sin.Jesus was fully God and fully human.
Then he could not be God.The human nature of Jesus was absolutely able to sin.
And that should tell you something. That isn't a doctrine in any church I have attended.
More like a conflicting doctrine that makes no sense in this regard.Conflicting natures to be sure.
The Christian Standard Bible, by Holman.Still doesn't say that.
Col 2:9- For the entire fullness of God’s nature dwells bodily in Christ.
The Christian Standard Bible, by Holman.
I don't run into that often.
I was surprised at the use of the word "nature" for πλήρωμα, and yet one finds this entry in the Liddell Scott Lexicon -
A. 6. fullness, full and perfect nature, (Rom.11.12; Eph. 3.19, 4.13, cf. Ep.Col.1.19); the aggregate of properties which constitute the complete nature of a thing.
Of course one then wonders what "nature" is to mean. Character? Perhaps even personality?
All of God that could "fit" into a human?
(Which, btw, is my personal view.)
Thanks,
Rhema
(Except for some translation issues with αιωνας.)Heb 1 says it al!
Then he could not be God.
Heb 1 says it al!
If he was FULLY God, then he absolutely could not sin.
Our Faithful "Let there be" Eternal Holy Father is not a man as us and neither is there any fleshly interpreter set between eternal God and dying mankind the temporal seen as an umpire ( Job 9:32-33)
The fulness of God who is not a dying Jewish King of kings .
Christ as the Holy Father worked in Jesus the Son of man to both reveal the understanding of Abba. And empower to do. (Philippian 2:13)
The spiritual food the disciples knew not of at first the meat (power) to both (the key) hear Christ's will and finish to the glory of Emanuel
John 4:33-35Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat?;Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
LOL
Christ as the holy father??????????????????????????????????????????????????
That's as antichrist as you can GET!
Romans 1:6-8Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus (savior) Christ (anointer) To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, the (0ne and only) Lord Jesus Christ.
Yes, and is out of place it should be erased to make any gospel sense.Rom 1:7- To all who are in Rome, loved by God, called as saints.
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
It's not a question of opinion, @B-A-C, but one of the most fundamental characteristics of the DEFINITION of God.Everyone is entitled to an opinion. Thanks for sharing yours.
Of course you would erase words that are ACTUALLY WRITTEN in scripture.Yes, and is out of place it should be erased to make any gospel sense.
