Cars have an obvious transportation purpose and are obviously designed for that purpose, as are trains, busses and airplanes. AR-15's are deliberately designed to kill as many people as fast as possible and have no other purpose in a sane society, except for military and police applications and even then, they should be locked safely away when military or police are not on duty. In fact, they shouldn't be in the hands of military or police except in time of war or violent circumstances.

And for you historical information, people were also killed or otherwise injured by being run over by horse and buggies, just as people are killed on the job and much more so prior to unions. Your position is without merit.

Anyone who contradicts Jesus is not only narrow-minded, they are gravely in error. Do you really think it is morally right to allow our children to be blown to bits by AK-15's and similar weapons, so some totally uncaring selfish adult can own them???

The facts are plain for anyone to see. Every nation in Western Europe, where such weapons are not allowed, averages 2 or less mass shootings annually, most less than one. The U.S. averages over 400 and has exceeded 500 annually.

Some tradeoff so some selfish narrow-minded Republican can own weapons that do not belong in any civil society.

First, I didn't know Jesus was of any political persuasion. He was an equal opportunity person who went after sin, and hypocrisy wherever it reared its head.

With that being said it clearly appears that you have an issue with the Republican party, and go all out after them, but do not do the same against the Democrats. They also don't do what Jesus proclaims. So, where is your animus and postings against them?

All I see when this is brought up to the mirror for you to see, is excuses for them, but none for the Republicans! That is why I said you are being sanctimonious, because your bias and subjectivity are such that you are unable to address in a way that allows you to take the blinders off that you are wearing and to speak the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
