God had a purpose to bring forth children just like him so the fall was necessary for ALL of us to know good and Evil. Then in comes the last Adam to bring eternal life to all who have become like God and know good and evil. But obviously more to the process than that.

Is this what you are referring to?

I wanna bring something to your attention for curosity's sake.

Psalms 110:1 "The LORD said to my Lord........" I checked every translation I think there is and every single one of them completely capitalizes LORD speaking of God and Only
uses the capital L in Lord referring to Jesus. Wonder why that is? Hmm?

Wow. That is very helpful. Thank you.

It's like, YHWH said to my Lord...

I was going off on a crazy doctrine in my thinking.

Sarcasm won't get you very far,. What I wanted you to see was that the writers of the Bible distinguished God from Jesus by using LORD for God and Lord for Jesus.
So yep you missed the whole point. Higher emphasis in LORD lower emphasis in Lord. Like God and Son.

Sarcasm...wait. I was sincere.

I'm working from your position that JESUS is GOD. So what you typed sounded like sarcasm as I was pointing out that David under Holy Spirit guidance made a distinction between the Father and the Son by using the all caps vs only the L cap.
So have you changed your position or do you still think that Jesus is/was God in the flesh?

Well, the L cap also means deity.

Show me what you can do with this:

who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped,
7 but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men.
8 Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.
9 For this reason also, God highly exalted Him,

Good verse set. Will have to work a bit on that one.
For the moment though I would have to say since he became obedient, he had to be obedient to someone-his Father.
And the last verse tells us who EXALTED HIM it was GOD. Showing there are 2 distinct persons.
1 Jesus Christ who was the servant and got exalted AFTER death by his Father.
2 God whom he was obedient to, and also did the exalting of Jesus AFTER death and resurrection.

I would have a question for myself here and that would be if he were indeed God to begin with then what did he get in the end after being exalted? Can God be exalted above God? That makes no sense at all.
We also know that once ALL things are put under Jesus' feet that God is excluded from the ALL things which agrees with what he told us that "his Father was greater than Him.
There is only one LORD God,
And there is one Lord Jesus Christ

The only conclusion I can come to is that as he was "in the form of God" this needs to be understood.

I completely agree, the only question was when that occurred? AFTER death and resurrection as the verse tells us when the exalting occurred. We also know the Bible tells us he BECAME A LIFE GIVING SPIRIT. You don't BECOME something that you already are, there must be a change that occurred.
Now Paul is telling them "Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus"" Found in fashion as a man", "in the form of God he became obedient." What are we on earth but in fashion as men, and when we are filled with the Holy Ghost? Are we not in the form of God as well, just as Jesus was filled with the Holy Spirit during his ministry. We are also told to put that same mind on and the only way we could possibly conform to that mind is if we were in the same form as he.

Still got work to do on this one, lots of goodies here.

Your stated opinions, initially, made me think you were a memorized-doctrines sectarian.

Why did I feel otherwise about you, despite that?

I have no idea what your trying to say. Just say it. we are all looking for the truth but we can't just take one verse out of the Bible and make a doctrine out of it.

Lol... I am trying to say I concluded you were an honest broker, for no explainable reason, when evidence made me think you were not.

I'll take that as a compliment.

Thank you, and may we continue to seek the truth together God willing.
