Romans 8:9-11 (KJV) But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

(Remeber what Ephesians said?

Ephesians 4:4-6 (KJV) There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.)

Romans 10:9 "If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in thine heart that GOD hath raised him from the dead thou shalt be saved."

The Spirit that raised up Jesus from the dead was the Holy Ghost? Which is the Spirit of God that dwells in me.
One GOD that is Father of ALL
And One begotten Son of the Father-Jesus who is now a God himself (which is why/how he is able to give us the Holy Ghost) but in subjection to his Father. We know him as Lord of Lords, and King of Kings, but there is a Higher Lord aka God his Father.

If you don't mind my prying where did you pick this up?

One Lord- Jesus Christ
One Spirit- the Holy Ghost
One God And Father of ALL (including the above) who is above all, and through all including Jesus, and in you all including Jesus

John 14:23 "Jesus answered and said unto him, if a man love me(Jesus), he will keep my words: and my FATHER will love him, and WE will come unto him, and make
our abode with him.

I believe the words speak for themsleves, but we surely need to look at the WE will come, and the OUR abode. The Christian is indwelled by both through the unity of the Holy Spirit but they (Jesus and His Father) are separate entities tied together by the spirit and love for one another. As we should be as well.

John 14:26 (KJV) But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

John 10:7-18 (KJV) Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.
All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.
I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.
The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.
I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be ONE fold, and ONE SHEPARD.
Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

Indeed he did, and God cannnot die therefore he was not God he was a man. 1 Co 15:21 "For since by man(Adam) came death, by man(Jesus) also came the resurrection of the dead." Lots of confusion about this especially here on this site. The reason Jesus gave his life for us was 2 fold. One, to complete his Path that the Father laid out for him (servant obedient unto death) and left us a path to follow, if he were not a man then we as men could not follow him to where he is now. 2- Was so that after he accomplished the sacrifice for sin he was rewarded with the giving of life to the sheep(us) by his Father whom gave life to him. He received a reward that he is freely giving out to the individual believer which is life eternal. (greater love hath no MAN than to lay down his life for his friends) and now we know why.
Read up on John 20:1-22 and look carefully at the time frames of when he said or did what he did. This is the area of his first ascension and glorification. Most will not bother to look and see but It sounds like you might just take a peek.

PS I see your an ALABAMA girl ROLL TIDE OR WAR EAGLE? Lived in Baldwin co. back in 90-94 myself loved the coast but not the humidity or hurricanes.

Why does the heretic teachings of Valentinians quoted above sound so much like the trinity? Judge for yourselves whether the trinity can be true when it bares so much similarity to known HERESIES.

So what if the trinity is somewhat similar To a known heresy. 'somewhat similar' is Not the 'same'. You're grasping at straws - so to speak - in your complaint.

Compare that to the fact that humans and apes have Similar DNA -- Similar is Not the Same. There is definitely a difference in appearance between humans and apes /monkeys.

Read John 17:3! Jesus as a MAN declared His Father as the ONLY true God! How much clearer do you need it to be that only the Father is God?

Furthermore, Paul wrote so clearly:

1 Corinthians 11:3 NIV But I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.

Since God is the head of Christ as Paul preached, there is no such thing as three coequal persons of the Godhead!

The trinity is a lie straight from the pits of hell started by an ancient gnostic heretic called Valentinus! Do your own research on him and his teachings and the heresy of Docetism! Why do you believe trinity as the truth when it teaches the exact same thing as heresies??

Your 'logic' leaves a bit to be desired.

As previously commented -- the trinity Might be close or Seem close to the teachings of Valentinus but that in no way means they are the Same.

And I Really think you need to be careful of your attitude towards the trinity. The beginning of your last sentence.

That's why he's says my father is greater than I, his spirit can't die, flesh can

His Spirit didn't die

This is true. But he did "give up the Ghost" meaning he indeed did die. God is a Spirit and a spirit cannot die. The body without the spirit is dead. Therefore as Jesus gave up the Ghost his body was dead. Truth be told nobodys spirit dies, just the body the spirit is in turns back to the dust it came from. Unless God wakes up that spirit in the dead body it stays asleep. Jesus said the same of Lazarus. God never took upon himself the form of a human man but he sent his son in that form to accomplish or taste death for every man. As mentioned earlier man brought death, so also Man brought the resurrection of the dead. So we see that a MAN had to die in order for God to begin the resurrection process.
The thing is this MAN Jesus had already been given the Holy Spirit so he was alive more so than any human being had ever been, so when he gave up LIFE for us it was far more than a dead human mired in sin and trespass, this is why he earned the right to give life to the rest of us.

Simple, at the Glorification of Jesus who was and is the Son of God, he had been obedient to the point where we see in Revelation the Lamb of God that was slain was
WORTHY TO RECEIVE POWER AND RICHES AND WISDOM, AND STRENGTH AND HONOR AND GLORY AND BLESSING.
He did not get this until after he was slain.
What does all that mean? He was declared by the Father to be a GOD. As now he could give out the Holy spirit just as his Father had given to him at the river Jordan, but he couldn't do that until after glorification according to John 7:39.
I see here you're saying Jesus was "a GOD"? So You have 2 Gods?

Mark 12:29-30 (KJV) And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

Matthew 22:36-38, 42-45 (KJV) Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment.
Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, The Son of David.
He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying,
The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?
If David then call him Lord, how is he his son?

Agreed. The question you will need to answer yourself is what did Jesus Christ receive from his Father at His glorification. The lamb that was slain worthy to receive glory, honor, riches, and power. The last Adam a MAN BECAME A LIFE GIVING SPIRIT.
What should a Son of God grow up to become? In the above it tells us he BECAME a LIFE GIVING SPIRIT. I believe this qualifies as a God.
The whole of creation waits for the manifesting of Gods sons. At that time will they be the same as Jesus is now? I will let you wrestle with that as your Father needs to show it to you not me, then you will understand. Being force fed doesn't work too well. I will say this is the precious pearl without value he speaks of.
But to be in that position one must be called, chosen, faithful, and love not their life unto death. Being called and chosen are without our realm of acquiring, God must do that.

Lets keep in mind that when he said what you have quoted he had not yet been glorified, and even after there is still one GOD who is the Father of us all that is above us ALL including Jesus Christ.
In no way can a child of anyone take away from the glory of their parents, rather they become the glory of their parents as they radiate their likeness. This is why we have trouble separating Jesus from the Father because he looks just like him.

1 John 3:2 "Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, WE SHALL BE LIKE HIM, for we shall see him as he is."

Jesus doesn't "qualify" as "a" God. He is God...
What I'm about to post is Old test
Isaiah 43:10-11, 15 (KJV) Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.
I am the LORD, your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King.
