The only person that has been to Heaven is Jesus!

@PloughBoy, you are running a double standard. When Blake H talks about Jesus speaking non-literally you immediately equate it with calling Jesus a liar. And yet you are comfortable saying that Paul is hyperbole, which is a form of non-literal communication.

You seem to be at ease with naming others' faults very directly, so it seems right to warn you of the dangers of hypocrisy.

Correct. He is embracing one side of the argument, instead of acknowledging there are two.

I am going to try to be kind and most humbly respond here for “edification” in the body of Christ, not defending myself, I am not important, but defending the faith, that was once delivered unto the saint of old is. Please Be patient with me and will try to convey my intent.
1st concerning Jesus: I do believe that Jesus was speaking plainly in (John 3:13 ).

English Standard Version
No one has ascended into heaven except he who descended from heaven, the Son of Man.
This is plain language. “ when the plain sense of scripture makes common sense seek no other sense”. If this John 3:13 no not mean what it says in plain English syntax, the word of God is not true. So who should we believe , Plain sense of “Holy Scripture” or man says it means. What Jesus says in Jn. 3:13 is “explicit “. Who do we believe God’s word or man. 4God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged. (Romans 3:4)..
Now let’s approach Apostle Paul, concerning him maybe using “hyperbole”. In biblical terminology. “Extravagant language”. The Bible from genesis to Revelation is full of “hyperbole” [strong language]. , imagery, simile, anthropomorphic words and parables. Then there is the plain sense of “Holy Scripture” and then we have man, with his different types of “hermeneutics”. Now here is Paul writing his 2 letter to the church at Corinth. He begins saying this in verse one. Which is the beginning of the paragraph of verse 2. It starts like this:

New American Standard Bible
Boasting is necessary, though it is not profitable; but I will go on to visions and revelations of the Lord.
Now concerning I’m in danger of “hypocrisy”. I do not consider myself a “virtuous” [pious] person by all means, I dare not even call myself a “Christian” far be it. With all the different definition of that term. But consider myself a “child of God” “born from above” yet a sinner. Then one day this “mortal also, will put on immortality. If feeling like that, in which I do, is called “ endanger of hypocrisy” I’m guilty as charge. I will stand by what the scripture says plainly:

American Standard Version
And no one hath ascended into heaven, but he that descended out of heaven, even the Son of man, who is in heaven. (Jn.3:13).❤️

You've dodged the issue. Speaking non-literally is not the same as lying.

I speak about “Holy Scripture” and when I talk about it, It is for our learning, meaning those who “abide in the vine” for there is one body in Christ and scripture has only on meaning, but many applications, and “Holy Scripture” will take care of it self, it needs no defense, it is the word of God.❤️
