The Messiah is the son of God

Hi All,

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the SPIRIT OF TRUTH, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. 14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. 15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

Me: The Messiah is the SPIRIT OF TRUTH. The Messiah or the humanity in God is led 100% by the holy spirit. The holy spirit (holy mind of God) and his human mind are one person and one spirit since the Messiah’s ascension into heaven.

New American Standard Bible
Col 1:18 He is THE image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.

Colossians 1:15 Interlinear: who is the image of the invisible God, first-born of all creation,

Me: Christ is the expressed image of the invisible God, firstly spiritually and then to form.

Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Me: The NT church is in the image of Christ, not God directly. The church is the firstborn, Christ as its head.

Rev 19:16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

Rev 20:6
Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Me: The rest of the world will be in the image of the saints who are in the image of Christ who is the image of God.

Luke 19:15 And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading. 16 Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds. 17 And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities. 18 And the second came, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds. 19 And he said likewise to him, Be thou also over five cities.

Hi All,

God expresses himself fully as the spirit mind of the Messiah in the Messiah.

John 14:7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen (me: and perceived) him.

Me: Our Father who is in heaven expressed his full self in his son that was here on earth.

World English Bible
John 1:18 No one has seen (3708. horaó: pecieved) (1 Timothy 6:16) God at any time. The (3439. monogenés: only unique) one and only Son, who IS in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him.
John 1:18 Interlinear: God no one hath ever seen; the only begotten Son, who is on the bosom of the Father -- he did declare.

1 Tim 6:61 (NIV) who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen (me: seen and perceived) or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen

Me: “No one” in John 1:18 includes the holy angels.

John 3:13 (NKJV) No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who IS in heaven.

Me: So, if no one has seen or perceived God at any time, including the present and future, but if Christ has seen or perceived God, then Christ must be one with God (John 10:30) and together with his father is God.

Romans 4:17
(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

Me
: Yes, the Messiah had been crucified (Romans 13:8), resurrected and glorified in the mind of God as if it already had happened before the Messiah’s existence in our time. But also in John 1:18 above, the son who was here on earth and was in the Father who was in heaven as much as the Father was in heaven was in his son who was here on earth.

John 10:30 I and my Father are one.

Hi All,

John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Strong’s Concordance:

Word or Logos
3056
lógos (from 3004 /légō, "speaking to a conclusion") – a word, being the expression of a thought; a saying. 3056 /lógos ("word") is preeminently used of Christ (Jn 1:1), expressing the thoughts of the Father through the Spirit.
[3056 (lógos) is a common term (used 330 times in the NT) with regards to a person sharing a message (discourse, "communication-speech"). 3056 (lógos) is a broad term meaning "reasoning expressed by words."]

I think it is confusing but this is because we are not God.

It's not confusing or impossible for God to be Father, Son and Spirit... to be divine and human... to be invisible and visible, unchanging and changing, One and yet seeming like three at the same time...

Impossible for us but easy for God.

Hi all, consider this,
God is not flesh, Jesus had to be made flesh,
And as flesh,Jesus had to grow and wax strong(Luke2:40) God does not grow wax and strong, but Jesus, made flesh had to grow wax and strong.
Jesus also had to overcome(John16:33). God does not need to overcome anything.
Jesus had to suffer and learn obedience (Heb5:8) God does not suffer.
God does not learn anything, seeing that God is all knowing(ISA (46:10)
Jesus was troubled in His soul (John 12:27) God is never troubled in His soul.
Jesus got weary(John 4:6) God never gets weary(ISA (40:20).
Jesus became exceeding sorrowfy(Matt 26:38) God never sorrows.
Jesus wept (John 11:35) God never weeps.
Jesus was aquatinted with sickness (ISA 53:3) God never gets sick.

If it were not for God in Jesus, Jesus would have been as helpless In fact Jesus said
with all humility and truth, I CAN OF MINE OWN SELF DO NOTHING ....(John5:30)
With Love, Wnl

Hi All,

Me: The Son in turn expresses his humanity in his Father in heaven when here on earth. In the OT God expressed himself in Theophanys. These did not express their self in God as Christ did, for they were temporary manifestations of God to us.

John 14:11 Believe me that I AM IN THE FATHER and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake...20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

Me: Also notice in John 14:20 that no one now goes to the Father except through Christ. No human can be present in God without the pure human heart of Christ in him (Jeremiah 31:19, 26).

John 4:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Me: God is both divinity and human in mind and spirit. It is not primarily that Christ is both man and God but that God now is divinity and man. God is the Father and the son. Both are spirits or aspects of the one mind. Christ is God because of God’s presence in him. God’s holy spirit was in the saints of the OT, now man can also be in God in the NT through Christ.

1 John 4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus (Me: savior) Christ (me: anointed) is come in ___ flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in___flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Me: The Greek text does not state “in the flesh” but in flesh in 1 John 4:2-3 above.
1 John 4:2 Interlinear: in this know ye the Spirit of God; every spirit that doth confess Jesus Christ in the flesh having come, of God it is,

Isa 43:10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. 1 I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no savior.

Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Me: So does Isa 43:10 and 9:6 contradict each other? No, because in the mind God, the human Christ has always existence as if it were.

Hi Wnl:

You: God is not flesh, Jesus had to be made flesh.

Me: Correct, Jesus was the son of God. The Word or expression of God himself was in the humanity of Christ (John 1:1, 14, 1 John 4;2).

You: And as flesh, Jesus had to grow and wax strong (Luke 2:40). God does not wax and grow strong, but Jesus, made flesh had to wax and grow strong.

Me: Correct, but Jesus’ human mind grew and bonded as one with his father. So God is both divine and human (son of God) in mind and spirit. The son of God is the exact expression ( Hebrews 1:3) or the image of God (Colossians 2:9) spiritually of the human mind of Christ. The son comes after the father. Man is made in the image of this expression. No other man is THE son of God nor THE image of God, but sons of God and God’s image through Christ. After the Messiah grew in his humanity with the divinity of God perfectly, God is both divinity and human. It is not Christ is both divine and human, it is God is both divine and human after Christ’s existence in our realty. You see, God has a son.

You: Jesus also had to overcome (John 16:33). God does not have to overcome anything.

Me: Yes, but the humanity in God now does not have to overcome anything anymore either (John 16:33). The Messiah is now one part of God (Isaiah 9:6). The Messiah overcame his trials, not his human nature. We humans have to put on Christ to overcome both (1 Corinthians 15:21).

You: God does not learn anything, seeing that God is all knowing (Isaiah 46:10).

Me
: So is the human mind in God (John 16:15).

You: Jesus was troubled in his soul (John 12:27), God is never troubled in his soul.

Me: Jesus was troubled, but is completely bonded as part of God now and is never troubled anymore.

You: Jesus got weary (John 14:6), God never gets weary (Isaiah 40:20)

Me: Neither does Jesus anymore (Matthew 11:28).

You:
If it were not for God in Jesus, Jesus would have been helpless. In fact Jesus said with all humility and truth I OF MYSELF CAN DO NOTHING…(John 5:30).

Me:
I don’t think Jesus was ever helpless. God gives every man free will. The Messiah was completely following the will of his father in his human mind that was growing in its bond with the mind of God who was completely expressed in him.

Phil 2:9
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

John 5:23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word (me: the expression of God) was God. 14 And the Word was made flesh (me: Came into flesh:1 John 4:2 above), and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the (me as explained above: unique or one of a kind) son of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Hi All,

1 John 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

Me: In verse 2, the phrase “we shall be like him” is pertaining to Father in verse 1. Now the Father together with his Son appears as one person in Revelation 21:3, 22-23. This means that the church shall perceive the invisible God. Does this contradict 1 Timothy 6:16)?

1 Tim 6:16 (NIV)
to keep this command without spot or blame until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 which God will bring about in his own time—God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, 16 who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amien

Me:
I believe this verse of no one being able to see God or can see God pertains to then and not in the future. For the church shall perceive God in 1 John 3:1, and the humanity in God perceives God now.

This is similar to Christ declaring that no one knows the time or the hour of Christ’s return. For we know that Christ will return three and one half days after the two witnesses lie dead in the street of Jerusalem (Revelation 11:9) and Christ knows whatever the father knows ((John 16:15).

Hi All,

Romans 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh

Me: The Messiah was not made under the law with weak flesh, but was the new Adam of the new covenant with slightly different human flesh.

Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one (G1520) man (G444) sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, (me: eph ho: by which) all have sinned:

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Me: Adam did not die physically the very day he sinned. Death of a relationship with God passed upon all men by which they sin. In turn, physical death is the result of sin. Sin entered the world by the first man Adam. Although G444 can refer to mankind or a particular man, it is clear that when first used in Romans 5:12 it is referring to one man, Adam. So the second use of the word is referring to men and not woman. Spiritual death is passed on by the male gender and not the female. Eve was not yet created when the proclamation was stated of the consequences of eating of the forbidden fruit.

Genesis 2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. 18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

Me: Adam did not die physically that day but spiritually. So did Eve. So did the whole creation. For man had dominion over the animal kingdom through the spirit (Genesis 1:28).

Rom 8:18
(NKJV) For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; 21 because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

Young’s Literal Translation
Eccl 3:19
For an event is to the sons of man, and an event is to the beasts, even one event is to them; as the death of this, so is the death of that; and one spirit is to all, and the advantage of man above the beast is nothing, for the whole is (me: H1892: futility).

Me:
Man and beasts were all subject to death. We are all of one spirit. The holy spirit will replace the spirit of the flesh

Hi All,

Physical seed of Abraham

Both Mary and her husband Joseph had descended from David.
Genealogy of Jesus Chart - Jesus' Family Tree Chart

Me: But Jesus descended by way of Solomon through Mary.

WHAT IS THE CURSE OF KING JECONIAH?

Does Jeconiah’s curse disqualify Jesus as Messiah?

What is Jeconiah's curse - Does Jeconiah disqualify Jesus as Messiah?
Original Text solves issue of Jesus' Genealogy Differences in Gospels

Me: The Messiah is descended from David and Solomon in the flesh from his mother’s side. Solomon was promised that the Messiah would descend through him.
Is the Messiah a Descendant of King Solomon?

Matt 3:9 And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

Me: So God created and provided the male chromosomes supernaturally outside of existing man to fertilize the ovum (egg) of Mary.
The dead spirit nature that was not able to have a spiritual relationship was thus not passed on to the Messiah. The resulting new Adam could transfigure himself (Matt 17:2) as an adult because he was made a little lower than angels.

Psalms 8:4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? 5 For thou hast made him A LITTLE LOWER THAN ANGELS…
Strong's Hebrew: 430. אֱלֹהִים (elohim) -- God, god
