Eph 2:4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy,
Eph 2:5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions--it is by grace you have been saved.
Eph 2:6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,

You can not experience anything beyond what you believe in God's Word. If the Word says we are sitting in Heavenly places in Christ, then it would very wise to believe it, even though your physical mind does not.

One thing about this verse... it says "seated us with Him in the heavenly in Christ Jesus".
The word "places" or "realms" has been added to some Bibles, but doesn't exist in any of the original manuscripts.

This is true, however would that change the scripture meaning? I think maybe we need to understand that the Christ in me is the exact same Christ that is in every born again child of God. There is no distance, or separation between us in the Spirit, only in the physical world. The same Christ who is sitting on his throne in the Heavenly is also the same living within us.
This totally baffles the human mind but should be easily understood by the mind of Christ within our hearts. We are so used to thinking in earthly terms, we need to start thinking spiritual thoughts. Even the Apostle Paul said......

Col 2:5 For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the steadfastness of your faith in Christ.

This is walking in the Spirit, not the flesh. Walking in the Spirit has nothing to do with our two feet.

Brother if we try to understand how God is using our human mind we will miss out, It is with the "heart" man believes unto righteousness, not his brain.
Not only was God the Father sitting on his throne in Heaven, at the same time he was also dwelling inside His Son Jesus Christ. Remember Jesus said, the Father dwells in me and I dwell within my father"

Joh 14:10 Don't you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work.

Do not forget not only was Jesus God, he was also a man. The man Jesus who was the Christ was raised up to his Father, but the divine nature in Jesus was already there.
Is it to hard to believe that God the Father could speak confirming his Son at his baptism from his throne while sitll dwelling with in his Son?
If we do not believe this, how can we believe that not only are we his Church living here on the earth, yet at the same time we are sitting on the right hand of God in Christ? You can not!

To which I answer with that mystery Paul indicated, putting what you speak of being entirely of the spiritual, and of future destiny past our grave, until sour own spirit, soul, and body are reunited at the Resurrection of the saints yet to come.
2 Corinthians 5:1-11 (KJV)
1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight)
8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

Positionally we are seated in the heavens with Christ by promise (seal) (earnest) of the Holy Spirit in us. While in this body we are not there yet, but here on earth, laboring to be accepted of him there as accepted of him here. We are accepted here so far, under commandment to do the gospel of Christ now, in this body, and living by faith.

If all we have in this life is hope of some future event we will the most miserable people on planet earth.

1Co 15:18 Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished.
1Co 15:19 If in Christ we have hope in this life only, we are of all people most to be pitied.
1Co 15:20 But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.

Does the scripture speak truth when it says "we have been raised with Christ and are now sitting in Heavenly places in Christ", or is it just a "play" on words?
Thank God we are sitting together with him on his throne in Heaven in Christ. Do we really want to make our self's at home in the body or do we want to be absent from body and be present with the Lord? We get to choose what we want because we walk by faith, not by sight!!!

The Apostle Paul told us.......

Rom 8:8 Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
Rom 8:9 You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him.

You can either choose to stay in the flesh,and be separate from the Lord or walk in the Spirit and be with the Lord!!!! Don't make your home in the body!!!
No body can dwell in God's presence without first putting off the sins of the body of flesh by the circumcision which is of Christ!!!!!
Walking by "sight" and in the flesh no one can or will experience this in their life until they learn to walk in the Spirit.

Col 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
