We can have a dream where things go wrong but we are able to gain some control over certain elements of the dream.Notice itr it to says "may" be all in all. It doesn't say "will" be all in all.
1 Cor 15:28; takes place after Jesus gives the kingdom back to the Father... not before.
Then the dream can move to the sorting out of good and bad elements. We can even dream that the bad elements are eventually punished and the good elements are rewarded.
But when we awake from the dream we realize that it never was.
Even though an entire history is compiled through the dream with good and bad elements how would our awake selves punish those unwanted parts of ourselves without punishing ourselves.
We could however learn that what the dream explored is not worth repeating, and we can be content in reality, not willing to attempt the rebellion that the dream explored.
If that's the case then many scriptures that don;t seem to make sense would have meaning.
Romans 11:32 For God has bound everyone over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all.
Proverbs 21:1 The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD; he directs it like a watercourse wherever he pleases.
Proverbs 20:24 A man’s steps are directed by the LORD. How then can anyone understand his own way?
In such a scenario God's will is done without interfering with free will.
And nobody really gets away with anything, except the love that is the only reality worth experiencing.
