I love Christ...
and I love Christmas.
And no I`m not a pagan, there are many more days and many more things I love, including holidays and birthdays and laughter and singing and children and birds and winter and spring ...
k...you get the drift...and if you`re too sanctimonious to enjoy Gods incredible gifts...then take your lump of coal and go see if you can kindle a fire by your own cold hearth, i`m claiming this thread for the love of Christmas
I sing this song at the top of my lungs every Christmas...(with tears in my eyes) oh how I love my Lord!
C-H-R-I-S-T-M-A-S :
When I was but a youngster,
Christmas meant one thing,
That I'd be getting lots of toys that day.
I learned a whole lot different,
When my Mother sat me down,
And taught me to spell Christmas this way:
"C" is for the Christ child, born upon this day,
"H" for herald angels in the night,
"R" means our Redeemer,
"I" means Israel,
"S" is for the star that shone so bright,
"T" is for three wise men, they who traveled far,
"M" is for the manger where he lay,
"A"'s for all He stands for,
"S" means shepherds came,
And that's why there's a Christmas day,
And that's why there's a Christmas day!
...anybody else who has a favorite song about Christmas I`d love you to share it!
