So tired of Christians not knowing what a Christian is!

So then by your definition I'm absolutely non-denominational. Never met a christian I completely agree with. I don't completely agree with myself from a year ago and I certainly hope next year me doesn't fully agree with this year me. When I'll be face to face with Jesus will be the first time I have the full truth and completely agree with anyone. 1COR 13:12
May Jesus fill us with his love and wisdom, and humor

What I was saying is that if you call yourself non-denominational that means you are by yourself. But if you're with another person that agrees with your thinking then the two of you together have become a denomination.

And in the Scripture Jesus states where two or more are gathered in my name, so obviously Jesus is promoting denominations LOL. I hope you take it in jest.

Also something to think about, God is huge about family. The way that he brought the Israelites together as a family and the way that he brings us together as a family, and in quite a bit of the teaching about the collection of characters all of us Christians out there, Jesus also talks about family and so does Paul.

So it seems like it's pretty important to me that you cannot be an island to yourself, if you wish to be part of the church in the sense of the collection of Christians, then you'll have to become part of the whole and not by yourself.

I wanted to talk also about how you were talking about how you've changed, that you are not yourself as you were a year ago and so on. This is all part of growth. When we were baby Christians, you think as baby Christians do everything is word for word in the scripture. If it says an eye for an eye that means I for an eye. Jesus tells us if the left hand causes evil Chop It Off. Baby Christians think that way all the time. It's kind of humorous to listen to Baby Christians because they always think it they know it all. Then you have the Adolescent Christians. Like the teenagers.

Right before my children became teenagers I told every single one of them the same thing, teenagers think they know everything when they know nothing.

This is true with adolescent Christians, they think they know it all. If you thought that the baby Christians felt that way then The Adolescents certainly feel that way.

An example of adolescent Christians, you have to go to church on Sunday. You can't go to church on Saturday. Sunday is the day.

Or another example is the King James version is the only Bible.

These things of course or not true, but you couldn't convince those adolescent Christians any of that if you tried. People who have walked in the Lord for a long time they have grown up in the Lord understand that the holy day for God is the day that you make holy. The vast majority of course make Sunday the holy day. Maybe your life doesn't allow that so you make a day holy for God. To be honest with you we should probably make every day holy for God but we need to make one day holy for God that's all he requires.

As for Bibles well, I like the Jerusalem bible. But I don't sit there and tell everybody it's the only Bible That's foolishness. It's like saying that the Baptist got it all figured out or the Catholics got it all figured out or every other denomination has it all figured out. Or an individual say I got it all figured out I'm by myself.

God looks at all of us, from the youngest to the oldest, from the youngest churches to the oldest churches and he cherishes all of us. And from what I know of God from reading the scripture, he finds a little humor in us too.

It's written in the Book of Jonah where after Jonah had preached to the people of Nineveh, and Jonah was upset with God because he knew exactly what would happen if he preached to the people of Nineveh, that they would be saved. It states in the scripture that God allowed a plant to grow up quickly in a single day and a shade Jonah from the Sun, and to soothe his ill humor
