Silent Prayer

I hope this answers your concern

Rom 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Have you been in such turmoil that you couldn't even get out even the words?!
Every day. Interesting how you would use a verse relating to tongues. Are you a tongues speaker?

Not a self-proclaimed one. But if crying, grunting and the like qualify as speaking in tongues, then yes. But I would say no, in fact.

@Mister -- that which you just described would not qualify as speaking in tongues.

And -- to the others in this thread -- I rarely pray outloud. I do my praying internally. I close my eyes and talk to God internally. It's like what was previously mentioned -- during corporate prayer -- the people are bringing up prayer requests and the leader prays for those requests while the rest of us are praying silently along with him.

If I were to ever get married again -- It would be to someone who would pray With me outloud. And he might also encourage me to pray by myself. Since it would be my relationship with God and then our relationship Together.
