satan tries hard with everyone
aha! awesome, thank youThe only place that tells us anything about angels
Here is some scripture about "guardian" angels:
There are over 270 references in Scripture to angels, I'll just put a couple here since I don't have a lot of time, and this post is really about Satan.
In Hebrews l3, verse 2, it says: "Don't forget to entertain strangers because in this manner some have entertained angels without knowing it."
2 Kings 6:15 talks about Elisha's eyes being opened to see an army of angels.
There are at least a few in the Psalms
Can there be a demon of laziness? And i have heard of demons passed down through generation or "generational sin" and do beleive in it, for me and some siblings are dealing with the same issues but at differnt times.
I know we are all constantly being tempted/"possesed" by various demons throughout the day, and strong faith in GOd helps 100% in stopping these demons and blocking them out. However, by the end of the day, many people are tired physically and mentally ( atleast i am) and this seems to be the opportunity these demons take to challenge you to sin. So, what is your advice on ways to acquire the strength needed to block out these temptaions and continue to live faithfully and trustworthy in GOD in the hardest times of need?
Ephesians 6 (Amplified Bible) gives us the clear answer to your question:
11Put on God's whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil.
12For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.
13Therefore put on God's complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place].
14Stand therefore [hold your ground], having tightened the belt of truth around your loins and having put on the breastplate of integrity and of moral rectitude and right standing with God,
15And having shod your feet in preparation [to face the enemy with the firm-footed stability, the promptness, and the readiness produced by the good news] of the Gospel of peace.
16Lift up over all the [covering] shield of saving faith, upon which you can quench all the flaming missiles of the wicked [one].
17And take the helmet of salvation and the sword that the Spirit [wields, which is the Word of God. 18Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God's consecrated people).

This is definately not true in the case of the Born of the Spirit Christian and there is not a shred of Scriptural evidence to support the claim.
I have heard it mentioned that there is a demonic spirit of laziness but confess I have never been able to find any Scriptural evidence for this claim.
I believe much is said and can be learned from the book of Proverbs about laziness; here are just a few of many Proverbial biblical teaching about laziness which indicate to me it is a sin of the flesh.
“A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest, and poverty will come upon you like a robber, and want, like an armed robber" (6:10-11).
"A slack hand causes poverty, but the hand of the diligent makes rich" (10:4)
"Like vinegar to the teeth, and smoke to the eyes, so are the lazy to their employers" (10:26).
"Those who till their land will have plenty of food" (12:11, 20:4).
"The hand of the diligent will rule, while the lazy will be put to forced labour" (12:24).
"The appetite of the lazy craves, and gets nothing, while the appetite of the diligent is richly supplied" (13:4, 19:15, 21:25).
"The lazy person says, "There is a lion outside! I shall be killed in the streets!" (22:13).
The advantage of being changed from laziness by the power of the Spirit is that we know the power is not the result of our own willpower. There is no room for spiritual pride. And it is for Christians to be empowered in this way that Paul says, "for this I toil and struggle with all the energy that he powerfully inspires within me" (Colossians 1:29).
thank you for that advice, although it seemed you got a little angry at what i said.. lol
i didnt mean we are constantly getting tempted every second of the day, i guess i worded it wrong, i figured people would understand, oh well.
However, what is this "Born of the Spirit Christian"? im not too sure if i know what those are.
thank you though for taking the time to answer my questions.
peace and love, God Bless.
silly, i know laziness is bad and is a sin, and i know the pain it causes, but im asking for a way out! its not like i choose to be lazy, im just so tired all the time and have no energy and dont feel like doing things i need to do.
