Rhema --- How do I become that wise ?
Did you read the email I sent (PM, DM, whatever it's called)?
You can post a reply in the PM thread.

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
- James 1:5-7 KJV

(Just make sure it's the right God.)

Kind Regards,
Rhema

How do I become wise ?
Stop doing anything stupid.

Wisdom begets wisdom.
Stupid begets stupid.

Now if you don't
know the difference
Between being wise
and being stupid
Being on Earth
As long as you have
Been on Earth
Then what else can I say to you?

BILL

Should I study all 34,000 Denominations that exist Today ? ?
If you're going to make a claim, that you understand all the different churches then you should study them or a great many of them. This is something the Lord had me do long ago. To understand my brothers and sisters.

Rhema -- What do Those 34,000 Denotations teach then ? Do They are teach the same thing ? If so, Why are They different?

Seeing how You seen to be the most intelligent One, I would like to read what You think about which Gospel is for whom, When?

And only them
of the truth
Can receive it.
And by receiving it
I'm saying
They obey it.
That is receiving it.

The number 34,000 represents the number of legal religious corporations registered with various governments around the world. An independent church that wants a tax exemption has to register and would be counted as 1 of these 34,000, even if they theologically agree with 1,000 other churches on everything else.

From what I've read, and documentaries I've watched, there are about 300, say even 400 (at most) separate "churches" that differ over theology. How does one get saved? Is the Trinity true? Is the Bible inerrant? What's the role of the Holy Spirit? Is the Holy Spirit a "second work of grace"? Transubstantiation or Consubstantiation or Memorial? Should Christmas and Easter be celebrated, or should a Christian hold to the Jewish Feasts? What kind of baptism is legitimate? Dunking? Splashing? Sprinkling? Baby or Adult? What list of books should be in the canon (the Bible)? The Church of the East, started in the Parthian Empire by the Apostle Thomas (what you know of as Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and down the West coast of India has rejected the book of Revelation, but so did half the Bishops of the Catholic church around 325 AD. It is not in their canon.

I forgot the matter of speaking in Tongues and miracles, including divine healing. Also the casting out of demons. In addition, did God select the people who would be saved and who would wind up in hell before even creating the world?

And the biggest difference that I think you have shown the most interest in, ... has God separated history into distinct theological time periods or ages (he did not). This is known as Dispensation, of which there is ultradispensation and Hyperdispensation. From this the question arises, is there only One Gospel, or Two?

Various groups of believers differ over whether this absurd thing called the Rapture is true or not. This teaching has the Second Coming of Jesus split into two parts separated by seven years, effectively describing a second coming and then a third coming.

Oh, also, is baptism necessary for salvation or not? And if a baptism is necessary, is this a water baptism or the Pentecostal type baptism of the Holy Spirit? (Non-Pentecostals might want to be scared.)

From my perspective, the most important question is, does the Father forgive sin? Or is Jesus a human blood sacrifice that one offers up to God to pay for one's sins?

I've been tempted to create a list and see how many differences (theological differences) I can come up with, and then all one would need to do is check off the boxes.

If so, Why are They different?
People rarely ask God to talk to them directly, so He typically does not. That means people are left to their own devices, and have only their intellect or feelings to guide them in what they believe.

They could have the Holy Spirit guide them through sola scriptura. Do you think that could work?

The fall of mankind violated the letter of the law (death) Romans 7:6 by adding to it (sola scriptura) Four words of false prophecy. "Neither shall you touch" .

In that parable they lusted after the flesh it led them to the hidden tree and then the lust of the eyes took over false pride ate the forbidden fruit. Walk by sight after the temporal historical dying and not by the powerful faith the unseen eternal.

The two lusting building blocks of self-centered pride. . . exposed those who make Jesus the Son of man into a circus seal. Do some magic work a miracle then when we see it with our own eyes we will believe for a half a second. Then we are going back to our own gospel of Thomas.

A growing list many like when Peter went to town and started a oral tradition of mankind saying John would no die .Jesus said if every time he dispelled the lies: I head it thought dying mankind's grape vine added gospels we would need a bigger planet to store the volumes that could of been written.. Sola scriptura all written in the law and prophets was enough the please the Holy Father .

John 4:48Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe.

John 6:30They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?

1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

Why seek after a sign to wonder, wonder, wonder after as a false hope when born again believers have prophecy the living hope till the end of time

Why hope in the things seen?

2 Thessalonian 2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

That was a great read, and I think you should do a survey just for the heck of it it would be hilarious to see the results.

It goes well along with my comments I often make when people ask me if I hate anything, where I say to them there's two things that I hate.

Brokers and preachers

Of course the religious always get upset when I say that I hate preachers, and then they ask me why. And I tell them you cannot get any two of them to agree on anything. Of course it's jokingly, but there's a matter of truth about that as well.

Take care of yourself my friend I will look for other things you've written to read

Especially since most all preachers can't even understand, let alone follow, one of the most simple and fundamental commands of Jesus. (Allow me to explain.)

One Sunday morning, down at the local Presbyterian Church with a red door (green doors are a different type of Presbyterian - no kidding, just keep a watch out....) ... and as the service was over and people were leaving, a Jew had wandered down from the local Synagogue, tugged on the elbow of someone's suit jacket and said, "I vish to speak vith your Rabbi." Now who would the person take him to speak with?

The Pastor or Reverend (obviously). No?

So then "Pastor" is a functional equivalence of "Rabbi."

Matthew 23:8 -10 DRB
But be not you called Rabbi (Pastor/Father/Reverend, etc.). For one is your master: and all you are brethren. And call none your father upon earth; for one is your father, who is in heaven. Neither be ye called masters: for one is your master, Christ.

How simple can you get? Be not called Pastor.

Now, they might be a pastor, but one can tell just the level of spiritual maturity if they demand being called (or even allow themselves to be called) "Pastor Bob" or "Reverend Smith." I can't tell you the number of times I've called a pastor "Bob" or "Mr. Smith" only to be dressed down by other members of their church, only to hear crickets behind the deer in headlights stare after giving this teaching. (They just hate me the more.)

Be blessed,
Rhema
