Thank you for your post....
I completely respect you saying what you did about not liking being called a sinner saved by grace.
I hope that one day I can think like you. I am a wretched sinner....I have been redeemed, and I know that my life is a living testament to God's saving power. I have come a long way from where I used to be. I agree that I do not live in sin, meaning I do not live in sin everyday, some days can be decent, others awesome, and yet some days, those sins come back to visit me, then I am moved to repent, for I love the peace that only God can give.
But this is the deal with me....here, as in all my posts, I place a huge mirror in front of me when I am talking....so half of the time, I may be talking about myself. AND when I point the finger, and judge those inside, as you have said, I may point one finger and then three at me (try it)
I do not feel that I am a mature Christian enough to be able to judge others. I still have alot to learn. I understand that judging those outside of the church is a no no, and to judge those in the church is a serious thing.....but someone has to judge, because the Bible tells us several times to "judge"
Again, taking the log out to be able to judge is something that is very serious in nature. When do we not have a log in our eyes? this is a note worthy question. And I am asking for my own benefit.
It's almost as if God were speaking to us as he did those who wanted to stone the adulteress?

Yes, I do not like the saying I am a sinner saved by grace. I always say, I was a sinner saved by grace. You see when I repented and the Holy Spirit came inside of me and Jesus washed me with His blood. I was made clean. Always rememeber the verse that says "IF I sin I have advocate Jesus Christ, IF is the key word. Do I have to sin no, do I not sin somedays I can go without sinning, but will I say I will never sin again can not say that. I will live in today and Jesus will help me not to sin I pray. I did not hear anything on here about judging, it says to take the speck out of your eye first then you are able to see and judge. We are not to judge those outside of the body of Christ. But, we can judge those I sit with everyday. there is a Biblical way to deal with that also.
Just my two cents.
Blessings,
debbi
