not sure how long i can hold on

I really need to hear from the Lord. Please help. I am praying in tongues. Over the past month I have had a lot of problems mentally.

Dear sister,

please be assured that I am praying for you.... in Jesus name.

Bless you ><>

Br. Bear

Thank you Br Bear. I believed I was talking with Jesus for most of the night. Then this morning what sounded like the same voice rebuked me swearing.

You are in my prayers Sister,

Be assured that the Father's hand that holds you is very strong, he wont let you go! Never

may i suggest that you spend time reading your bible more, that will help clear your mind and will help you discern true voice of the Lord.

Hebrew 4
12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two–edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

Peace and blessings

"When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet."
Proverbs 3:24

Father I praise you for my sister, give her the mind of Christ.
Remove all confusion and give her peace.

"In peace I will both lie down and sleep, For You alone, O LORD, make me to dwell in safety."
Psalm 4:8

"The LORD will give strength to His people; the LORD will bless His people with peace."
Psalm 29:11

Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful."
John 14:27

Let God Occupy Your Thoughts

(please read Colossians 3:2-4)

A song in the church says, "Turn your eyes upon Jesus. Look full in his wonderful face . And the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of his glory and grace." These are good words to live by, for one of the strongest deterrents against returning to your old way of life is to focus upon your Saviour and future. As a believer, you have been promised eternal life, the hope of heaven, and the assurance of spending eternity in the presence of God. When you think about that, the trappings of this world begin to lose their appeal.

The next time you feel inclined to dabble with your old life, or feel weighed down by the worries of this world, or fear that you won't make it as a Christian, remember to do this things:

...Keep your eyes on your final destination.

...Realize that worry should not be a part of your life.

...Picture yourself as dead to this world and alive in Christ.

...Remember that your Redeemer is returning.

If you allow these truths to occupy your thoughts, you will find it much easier to obey God and say no to the alluring, but damaging, enticements of this sinful world.
