Is there a verse which clearly depicts holy spirit as part of God?

Beside the obvious "God is a Spirit" in (John 4:24) we may also consider in (Acts 2:17) of the prophecy of Joel saying "I will pour out OF MY Spirit upon all flesh": for it is God who is a Spirit pouring out of His own self upon us.
My spirit is not holy spirit. As i said Gods spirit many places is spoken about the spirit of God in general not holy spirit

You are saying so because you believe bible to be true. It may not be true for me!
This statement is moving the goal posts. Please don't do that.

I would like to hear your commentary after reading those links provided by Chad In post 17. They could not be more detailed. You cannot read the bible and think the Holy Spirit is not God.

If I had to cherry pick a specific scripture, I would pick Eph 4:30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you are sealed for the day of redemption.

The father, son and as I'm told holy spirit also. My question is specifically on the divinity of Holy Ghost!
I feel that the words "God" and "Holy Spirit" are interchangeable.
As are the words "Word" and "Jesus".
As are the words "God" and Father".
As are the words "Spirit" and "Comforter".
But in the end, they are all one.
I thank God for making a way for us to be one, with them. (John 17:21-26)

If you go by that logic Judaism was before Christianity and Jews reject Jesus. How old a religion is doesn't make it true in any way. I don't say Christianity isn't as I am researching about it. I know very well how Islam was introduced in Arabia and how the Quran and Hadith came into being and know much about bible too how it came into being so you saying my belief is based on something written 200 years after Muhammad died isn't true. That information did not help and could you please verify information before posting because wrong info does not help.

If I got something wrong, please let me know. I read that around 800AD Ibn Hisham wrote the Koran and that he felt all previous recordings were garbage and that only his was authorative. Muhammad died 632AD, so thats 168 years. Not 200, but close.

The info provided by Chad are informative but again the verses can be interpreted in other ways because spirit of God is not specific to holy ghost

What's your source?

In the shadow of the sword by Tom Holland. What is your source and the dates since you acclaim that yours are more accurate.
Anyone's book isn't a proof. It must be from authentic source. I have studied how Quran was written & memorised by people and then it was compiled into a book at the time of Usman's Caliphate. So it was preserved through memory & written too.

You are giving no dates, and the source of the dates. Surely you can do such a thing?

Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for Whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, Philippians 3:8

Greetings,

You are saying so because you believe bible to be true. It may not be true for me!

and if a verse or two were written you would probably still not believe.
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
1Corinthians 2:14

In other words,
I am interested in making some things with electronics and as much as I might like to think about it, I have no knowledge of electronics that can help me to do anything that i would like to do. I can do a few things but when it comes to things like capacitors, relays, diodes, switching mechanisms, and chips, you might as well be speaking to me in a foreign language (tongue) because it goes right over my head, it passes by me and does not find any rest with me. I need to get knowledge of electronics if I want to be one who works with electronics. It is simple. No knowledge equates to no knowledge. If someone who knows electronics talks to me about it, it makes no sense to me no matter how much I believe or think that they know what they are talking about and it is true.
The same goes for you.

If you are really interested in this topic, you first need to have the knowledge of one who knows Jesus Christ as their Saviour and Lord. End of story.

But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find Him, if thou seek Him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. Deuteronomy 4:29

I love them that love Me; and those that seek Me early shall find Me. Proverbs 8:17

[God our Saviour ] Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time 1Timothy 2:4-6

Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness. If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light Luke 11:35-36

Bless you ....><>
