Interpretaion of Tongues

Tongues are spoken in all kinds of religions through out the World, Just like Pentecostal movement has its roots of “glossolalia” from a black tribe in “Africa” that is a known fact. That is in their “Historical” data of The “Pentecostal” movement. That most true and faithful “Pentecostal” member should know. Every Pentecostal member should know the beginning of their Historical origin of their Organization, I would think. “AZUSA”!

Where in the Bible is the term Gloosolalia "definetly" memtioned?
Now now you are being sneaky and underhanded here.
You know full well that G1100 γλῶσσα glōssa is used in the NT many times.
Even Jesus himself declared that those who believe the gospel would speak in tongues (Mark 16:17).

And one I would think should have a knowledge of translated words and etymology and the year of created words and replacement words of the translation text of “Holy Scripture”. And is the words Tongue and language is the exact word. And that the word“Tongues” and “Languages” are the exact word, [Plural]. For a ‘s’ is on the end of the word. Grammar School English.

I would think. “AZUSA”!
You Americans claim everything for yourselves - Azusa Street was a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit - your day of Pentecost so to speak,
BUT Pentecostal revival with divine healing and speaking in tongues started well before your Azusa Street.
Anybody remember the great Welsh Revival of 1904-05
The 1904–1905 Welsh Revival was the largest Christian revival in Wales during the 20th century. It was one of the most dramatic in terms of its effect on the population, and triggered revivals in several other countries.
"The movement kept the churches of Wales filled for many years to come, seats being placed in the aisles in Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Swansea for twenty years or so, for example.
Meanwhile, the Awakening swept the rest of Britain, Scandinavia, parts of Europe, North America, the mission fields of India and the Orient, Africa and Latin America."
Divine healing began in England and Australia in the 1880s.

Sneaky and underhanded..hmm?
Gloosolalia term is manmade, no?...just like so many false interpretations, no?

The word tongues means languages. Recorded in Mark 16:17 “New Languages” not languages. Plus “Mark 16: 17” is not even in the most Authentic Manuscript of The written word of GOD any Good and excellent translation will you tell you that! It is not in the original Text. So Mark 16:17 cannot hold is ground as the words of GOD. By any case!

A False prophet is anyone who passes on false unreliable information that is not Authoritative information that has not been given to be a reliable source. Or passes on something they have gotten from another and passes it on as Godly Truth. For in which they will be accountable to God on judgment day. You can be sure of that. You will be judge whether you did it in ignorance or knowledgeable.

you have to prove nothing to me. But GOD the Father will hold you accountable.

It seems to me SPEAKING in tongues serves at least two functions, or else there are two varieties of glossolalia. 1. It affords the speaker an additional, special means of venerating and rejoicing in the glory of God, to please him and inspire others with that feat. 2. As a miraculous demonstration of God’s ability to endow believers with knowledge and inspiration they could otherwise never access.
You sort of have the right understanding, but I am presuming you are studying this from the outside - that is you are not Pentecostal yourself.
Writing of my church and my experience in believing the gospel of salvation -
Everybody who is baptized in the Holy Spirit receives the Bible evidence of speaking in tongues.
We read in Acts a number of times that when people believe the full gospel they speak in tongues when the Holy Spirit comes upon them - Acts 10 is one such reference.
Therefore in Pentecostal churches everybody who is Spirit-filled speaks in tongues > this is our prayer language directly to the throne of grace > praying in the Holy Spirit.
Praying not with our minds, but with our spirit in a spiritual language given for this purpose.
This is also one of the reasons that Pentecostal Christians have an abundance of gifts of healings, miracles and blessings. For we exercise the power of God that dwells within us.

In addition to the above are the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit given directly to the body of Christ for individual needs and for ministries in the church. (1Corinthians 12)
Three of these gifts are the voice gifts of the Holy Spirit [tongues, interpretation and prophesy] to be operated at church meetings/services (1Corinthians 14).
Thus when it is time to do this in our Pentecostal service - one person will speak out in tongues and another people will operate the gift of interpretation; this can be done
up to three times in accordance with scripture.
After these gifts come the voice gifts of prophecy - again only up to three times.
All done decently and in order. God speaking directly to his people - the saints.

PS. GOD put me here in “American” born and Raised here and not by choice, if you got a problem with this American take it up with him!

1Corinthians 12: - [NENT]
1 Now concerning the spirituals, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.
2 Ye know that as nations ye were led away unto those dumb idols, howsoever ye might be led.
3 Wherefore I make known to you, that no one speaking by God’s Spirit saith, Jesus is anathema; and no one can say, Jesus is Lord, but by the Holy Spirit.
4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
5 And there are diversities of ministrations, and the same Lord.
6 And there are diversities of workings, but the same God, who worketh all the things in all.
7 But to each is given the manifestation of the Spirit to profit.
8 For to one is given through the Spirit a word of wisdom; and to another a word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit:
9 to another faith, in the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healings, in the one Spirit;
10 and to another workings of powers; and to another prophecy; and to another discernings of spirits: to another kinds of tongues; and to another interpretation of tongues;
11 but all these worketh the one and the same Spirit, dividing to each severally even as he willeth.

It seems to me your “Pentecostal “ worshiping is higher than your worship of “The SON of GOD” Himself! For “Pentecostalism” has become your “Autorotated” source of worship! And more than “THE ALMIGHTY GOD”! Because you are heated about a “denomination” in a way I have never saw you heated in such a way about “Jesus
Christ” or GOD the FATHER!

“My Children be aware of “Idols “!

1Corinthians 14:
26 What is it then, brethren? When ye come together, each hath a psalm, hath a teaching, hath a revelation, hath a tongue, hath an interpretation. Let all things be unto edifying.
27 If any speaketh in a tongue, let it be by two, or at the most three, and in turn; and let one interpret:
28 but if there be no interpreter, let him be silent in church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.
29 And let prophets speak by two or three, and let the others discern.
30 But if a revelation be made to another sitting by, let the first be silent.
31 For ye all can prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be exhorted;
32 (and the spirits of prophets are subject to prophets;
33 for God is not a God of confusion, but of peace), as in all the churches of the saints.

And this is what we do in our church service meetings.

You are a “Pentecostal “ worshipper”. And out side of the body of Christ it seems because those in the body of Christ are one throughout the world. Although we might dis- agree in minor matters. We are one.

Greetings,

steering back (roughly) to the OP,

We read in Daniel chapter 5 when words were written [stamped] on a wall.
This was at a Babylonian gathering.
The words were in Aramaic or Hebrew.
The Babylonians did not know what those words meant.

מְנֵ֥א מְנֵ֖א תְּקֵ֥ל וּפַרְסִֽין׃

MENE MENE TEKEL UPHARSIN

...now let Daniel be called, and he will shew the interpretation.
Daniel 5: ...12

If we are to/were to trans;late these words we would be none the wiser, we would still need an interpreter.

We can look at those words.
Someone can even speak them and we hear them.
Someone can even tell us {speak} what those four words mean....

so how did Daniel come up with all that he did? He interpreted to the hearers that which was foreign/unknown to them.

Read Daniel Chapter 5 [it will only take you a couple of minutes - don't skimp!!]

Bless you ....><>
