And the scriptures also say a lot about fools. Especially ones who dig in their heels over something stupid. In the scriptures it's written in Proverbs 14: 6 A scorner seeketh wisdom, and findeth it not: But knowledge is easy unto him that understandeth.
Quote ONE VERSE that says the Trees talked to Adam or Eve.
Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
(Genesis 3:1 KJV)
And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
(Genesis 3:2 KJV)
And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
(Genesis 3:4 KJV)
The wise thing would be to stop claiming stupid stuff like Adam and Eve talked to the trees. I know you think you have some "special" insight into this scripture passage, but you don't. You're just making yourself look like a fool.
And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
(Genesis 3:7 KJV)
THEY knew. Not "they were TOLD" (by the trees).
And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
(Genesis 3:11 KJV)
Hast thou EATEN. Not "Hast thou listened" (to the tree).
Eve listened to the Serpent, (see actual scripture verses above) and Adam listened to Eve, (see scripture verse below).
And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.
(Genesis 3:12 KJV)
EAT, They ATE. How one could actually deny the narrative of this passage is truly beyond reason. That's why I was joking about mushrooms. You're offended? Good. I'm offended by your nonsense. The scripture actually states, "THEY knew." Who told them they were naked? THEY told themselves that they were naked. And since then, every man has at one time or another usurped the sovereignty of God to establish what is good or what is evil, or to declare right from wrong.
